“Keri stops by every morning for an hour to keep an eye on Sophie and play with her while I'm working. She's always on time, super kind, understanding, and great with my new puppy as she's getting accustomed to morning routines. Keri has been a lifesaver for me. Really appreciate her!”

“She was a great person to come see my cats. I'd call myself and pets on the higher maintenance type of situation and she was able to hand it all like a champ. She had to medicate 2 of them and was successful, spending how ever much time she needed to get them to take their meds. Very communicative and able to follow directions!”

“Regan is a wonderful pet sitter. He did drop in visits for us and was great at communicating with us and giving us updates. He took great care of our rabbit and everything was so clean when we got home. He took in our mail which was totally above and beyond. Absolutely booking with Regan again.”

“Camryn is seriously the best and beyond reliable, she has helped me in multiple pinches while my work schedule has been hectic. She takes great care of my Stella girl every single time and is so easy to communicate with! I couldn’t recommend her enough!”

“***** I recently had the pleasure of having Parker step in as a substitute dog sitter, and I must say I am absolutely delighted with her service. While my regular dog sitter was unavailable, Parker seamlessly filled the role and provided exceptional care for my furry friend. From the very beginning, Parker exhibited a high level of professionalism and a true passion for dogs. Her friendly and accommodating demeanor immediately put me at ease, and I felt confident in entrusting my beloved pet to her care. Throughout her time with my dog, Parker provided regular check-ins, complete with adorable pictures and updates. It was evident that she not only cared for my dog's physical well-being but also their emotional happiness. Furthermore, Parker's punctuality and reliability were impeccable. She consistently arrived at the scheduled times and made sure that my dog's feeding and playtime adhered to our usual routine. In summary, Parker, as a substitute dog sitter on Rover, went above and beyond my expectations. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals were truly impressive. My dog not only received excellent care but also clearly enjoyed her time with Parker. I wholeheartedly recommend Parker to anyone in need of a responsible and loving dog sitter. I am grateful for her outstanding service and will undoubtedly reach out to her again in the future.”

“This woman is fantastic! We highly recommend her, as do our dogs. Besides being reliable (that is not always a Rover attribute) she was so friendly and accommodating. Though we don’t currently need her help any longer, we aren’t letting her get far away ! She is a GEM!”

“Erin did a fantastic job! She was willing to adjust her schedule to accommodate my schedule change. She attended to Shatsi as requested and kept me in the loop - loved the pictures! She can be counted on to meet her commitments and is an excellent communicator. I intend to be a repeat client. Thanks again Erin!”

“Mairin is beyond reliable, so great with communication and she takes great care of my Stella girl, and she’s just a sweetheart! It’s nice to have people who you know will treat your pup like their own, and I know Mairin does just that!”

About: Hi! Hablo inglés y español. I work part time and spend the rest of the time adventuring with my toddler. I'm looking to spend time with and care for dogs, and as a former dog owner I know how hard it can be to find a good sitter. After I spent 3 years caring for a dog with a chronic illness, I am accustomed to all sorts of needs and am happy to accommodate them. I have also lived with and cared for a senior dog and I can work with dogs of all ages. I will only take one dog at a time, unless they are from the same family. I have a small yard and good neighborhood for walks, so can be active with your dog or let them spend the day sitting on my lap! Let me know if you have any questions! I work part time in the community. Since I make my own schedule, I can be flexible to accommodate your dog’s needs! My toddler also loves dogs. I have a yard and a home with plenty of space for dogs to roam. Dogs will be monitored at all times and all medicines, cleaning supplies, etc. are safely stored. If your dog uses a crate, that is also welcome but not necessary. I will only take one dog at a time.

About: I will love your pet as much as you do! I've cared for cats since I was a small child and in 2018 expanded my care to the doggy dog world. A house is not a home without a furry friend..or 2...or 3! I spoil my animals with toys, treats, furniture and an abundance of attention! It is certainly paradise for them. I've managed multiple special diets with pills for extended stays as well as administering insulin. My experience with a variety of dogs is growing pretty quickly. I am very friendly and all dogs seem to love me. I am almost always available. Your home and pets are in good hands with me! I look forward to making your time away as stress-free as possible! You will get daily (or more if you want) pupdates including a cute collage summing up the day. Can't wait to meet you and your fur kid! I am just at home with my pets all day and my husband/child in the evening so I am pretty flexible on when I can come to your home. I follow whatever routine you have in place for your pup. A main benefit of a pet staying home is so to not upset the routine. Give me instructions and I'll follow them.

About: I have dedicated my life and career to caring for dogs. I started dog sitting at 12 years old. I have cared for dogs from months old to fifteen years old. I have been certified as a basic obedience trainer, interned at a dog training company participating in classes from puppy to agility, and I have worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility. I have experience giving dogs oral medication, but I have not done any injection medications. I am looking to make this my full time job. I do have one dog of my own to care for, but other than him, my schedule is completely open to caring for your pets. I live in an apartment with a park right next to it, perfect for walking my dog and yours. I have one friendly male dog who believes all dogs want to be his best friend. He has toys littering the floor available for anyone to play with, and he has never had resource guarding behavior; if your dog has the toy he will just watch and wait his turn, or try to get another toy they can both play with. I have trained him with positive reinforcement techniques, meaning there are plenty of treats around for the good boys and girls. He is allowed on all furniture and has the choice to sleep in the human bed, which means your pup will have the same privileges. When I go to a clients home I will follow their rules to the letter. I walk their dogs before feeding or keep the pets off the furniture if that’s what they want. I want to apply the same rules to your pets when you’re out of the house so they don’t start showing any unwanted behavior.

“Kris is the best dog sitter!! She took time to really meet our pups before taking care of them and went above and beyond to make our older insecure dog feel safe. 9 days, no accidents and happy pups when we got home is 100% fabulous!! She even celebrated our younger dog's birthday with her since we were on vacation! Will definitely be requesting her for future pup watching :) THANK YOU KRIS!!”

About: Hi! My name is Stephanie, and my husband, three kids (3, 7, and 10) and I are so excited to love your dog while you’re away! A Roof for Ruffs is the brainchild of our 10yo daughter. We are a foster family for a local dog rescue organization where we take in one or two dogs at a time until they can find their forever homes. We’re having so much fun with fostering that our sweet girl suggested we take on paying clients between our fosters, and donate some of the proceeds to the same local dog rescue organization. ♥️ I’ve owned dogs my whole life. Between fostering, petsitting for family, neighbors and friends, and caring for my own pups, I have experience with all ages—from very young puppies to seniors and everything in between; small and large breeds; well-behaved and questionable; medical cases, and even the occasional cat. 😱 Your dog’s vacay siblings for their stay will include a 2yo female Great pyr/St. Bernard rescue pup, and two 4yo guinea pigs. We are so very excited to meet your dog, and to treat them like family for their stay. My husband works full time, but I am a freelance writer with flexible hours working from home while caring for our three kids. In other words: your pup won’t be left alone often! 😆 **Please note: all pets must have proof of updated vaccines and be okay with kids (they will be loved on and spoiled by our kiddos while they’re here!) I am home daily with my kids, so lots of potty breaks and playtime is possible throughout the day. We are available most weekdays or weekends unless blocked while we have a foster or for travel. We have a 4-foot aluminum fence in the backyard and live on a public park with a walking trail for easy exercise options. We have extra dog crates here if your pup is crate-trained or feel free to bring your own.

About: My husband and I have grown up with dogs and cats our entire lives. We love animals and helping out fellow animal lovers. I have experience administering insulin to diabetic animals, feeding/watering and walking. I currently work only 3 days a week and my husband works from home full-time giving us plenty of time to spend with your furry friends! Currently I work 3 days a week at a hospital in Ann Arbor but do not have a set schedule. My husband works from home full-time Pets are allowed on furniture and the bed in our home. Our yard is fenced, allowing for ample playtime outside. We currently have a 2 year old dog of our own and a 4 year old cat that is very dog friendly.

About: I have had dogs my entire life! I live in an area where there are trails to take walks on and a dog park to play at! My goal is to make sure that your pet is loved and taken care of during your time away from them! I work at a full time job, but I am off at a decent time and have plenty of time during the weekends to play, walk, and take care of your fur baby! I make sure that I get up in time to make sure that I can give about 30 minutes of play before work and that they are fed in a timely manner.

Alyssia H.
“When I got my dog, Alyssia was one of the first people to come over and meet her. After my dog had major surgery and had a trying recovery, she kept me from getting discouraged. Hannah M.

“Thank you for checking up on Sky and Chewy! We'll definitely keep you in mind for next time! ?.”

Jacey K.
“I would Highly recommend Jacey to anyone looking for someone to care for their fur babies in anyway. Jacey treats your dog with so much love and care, as if they were her own. Jacey's knowledgable about behavior issues and can offer advice on training if it's wanted. Anytime your dog is with Jacey, you can rest assured they are being loved but are also following your rules while you are away. Jacey is responsible and trustworthy and extremely punctual. When it comes to our furry family members, we need this dependability. You give her a list and she'll follow it to a T. Otherwise, she is just pure love and acceptance for your four-legged family member. I can't stress enough her enthusiasm for dogs. You'll see it the first time she meets your your doggo.”
