Our Levi and Junior are admittedly on the higher-maintainence side and their family took it all in stride. We met with them prior to committing to the hosting in order to make sure the dogs were compatible and to discuss Levi and Jr's needs. It was a very comfortable and easy meeting. We left the initial meeting feeling very comfortable. When the time came to leave our fur babies, Nathan reassured us our pups would be fine. While we were away, we received daily updates with pictures that showed our pups were doing fine and having fun ! The kids took them for walks, and Jr found a new friend in their pup Charlie. When we came to pick them up, they were healthy and happy. It was wonderful to be able to go on vacation knowing Levi and Jr were in good hands. I'm looking to spend time with and care for dogs, and as a former dog owner I know how hard it can be to find a good sitter. After I spent 3 years caring for a dog with a chronic illness, I am accustomed to all sorts of needs and am happy to accommodate them. I have also lived with and cared for a senior dog and I can work with dogs of all ages. I will only take one dog at a time, unless they are from the same family. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little, house sitting for neighbors when I was in high school. I worked at a vet clinic that offers doggy daycare and boarding. I know how to administer medication to dogs of all ages and temperaments. I can navigate nervousness in your pup, and help them feel comfortable when you aren’t home. I also have two dogs of my own, both high energy breeds, so I understand the need to exercise your beloved pets and make sure they have proper mental and physical stimulation. Your dog or cat deserves the love you give them everyday, even when you’re away from home; and I intend to give them that same love when I take care of them. I work fully remotely so I am available to assist almost any day of the week and really anytime, with a preference for middays and evenings. Even if I don’t have my availability listed for that day, please reach out and I will always try my best to accommodate! For my own dog, I have him crate trained so he don’t get into anything dangerous while I am gone. Because of my own dogs, I’m no stranger to giving medication (including injections), working with limited mobility or vision, and supporting senior pets with the extra care they need. Whether your dog is a bouncing puppy or a gentle senior, I’ll treat them like family with playtime and plenty of belly rubs. I’d love to help care for your furry friend while you’re away! I work second shift, so I’m available in the mornings and early afternoons to care for your pet! I also live very close to work and am able to run home on breaks to see my dogs. In my home, dogs are treated like part of the family. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I make sure every dog gets the exercise and fresh air they need with daily walks, just like I do with my own pups. For dogs with limited mobility or who tire easily, I even have a wagon that I use to wheel them around so they can still enjoy the outdoors safely and comfortably, something I do often for my senior, three-legged dog. Inside my home, I provide a calm, structured environment. I have two crates available and can accommodate both crate trained dogs and those who prefer to free roam. I always take the time to understand each dog’s routine and personality so I can tailor their care, whether that’s sticking to a medication schedule, providing quiet time, or making sure they have plenty of play and affection. About: I've been watching and loving on dogs since I was in grade school. I'm a HUGE animal lover, with a passion for dogs- I can never learn enough about them. I managed a dog boarding/daycare facility, but discovered the stress of over 80+ dogs in my care at once was a little too much for me to handle. After a couple years away, I decided to come back to the dog boarding/daycare industry part time. Doing this, I was reminded that not all dogs thrive in this type of environment and do better in a home atmosphere. I have very active dogs myself and wake up extra early in the morning to make sure my dogs are properly exercised and played with before I go to work because I believe in order to have a healthy dog, they have to be worn out both physically and mentally and that is very important to me. I now have the ability to work from home and tend to work from home when I have doggy guests staying with me. What to expect when your dog stays with me: Lower stress and home environment for your pups! I have two big dogs and a little dog and am also set up so I can keep them separated if your dog doesn't particularly enjoy k9 company! I send pictures and videos and will keep in contact with you as little or as much as you'd like. I work full time, but I'm able to work my own hours. I adjust my work schedule based on the needs of the paws in my care. I have a large fenced yard. If your pup is staying at my home, I do require that they are crate trained for the safety of your pet.

I have experience administering insulin to diabetic animals, feeding/watering and walking. I currently work only 3 days a week and my husband works from home full-time giving us plenty of time to spend with your furry friends! Currently I work 3 days a week at a hospital in Ann Arbor but do not have a set schedule. My husband works from home full-time Pets are allowed on furniture and the bed in our home. I walk my 90 lb chocolate lab (quite energetic and happy) miles everyday around the neighborhood and hiking trails. About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.
