Since I work from home, I have the flexibility to provide potty breaks as often as your fur baby needs.

About: I grew up with four dogs in the house and haven’t gotten one of my very own due to SO preferences haha I live on my own now and would love to care for your doggie using my excellent petting skills and patience fortified by raising three kids (5-9 yoa). Your dog has to be good with younger kids that love petting dogs. I work from home so your dog will have to be okay with me sitting for periods of time between potty breaks and petting. I enjoy having dogs for short periods and my kids leave plenty of scraps on the floor, so please be sure to let me know your dog’s dietary requirements. I have a gated deck and a comfy couch for lounging. Your dog will have the option of the deck but not a requirement. I take walks around my yard and there are plenty of rabbit and deer smells to entertain doggies.

I have a fenced in yard and live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of walking trails. I have three children, ages 10, 12, and 14 that grew up with dogs and learned how to be loving and respectful to animals. I’m a high school teacher so I’m able to be home during the summer and school holidays. My routine includes a morning, afternoon and an evening walk after dinner. The fenced backyard provides opportunities for exercise outside of walks. I follow your pets normal feeding schedule and will only provide the food and treats that you provide to avoid any allergy or food intolerance concerns. On school days, my husband is typically working from home so there is usually someone home without long periods of being left home alone. Pets are cared for as part of the family and receive lots of love and attention.

About: Hello all! My name is Alex and I am currently a stay at home mom here in Powhatan VA. Ever since I can remember I have been an animal lover. I have never not owned an animal, and currently have two dogs, two cats and a turtle of my own! I also have volunteered 200 hours at the PSPCA in Newport News, where I gained a lot of experience in the care of different types of dogs and cats. My husband and I live in a house with almost an acre fenced in, so your pup will always have a place to run around when staying with us!! Communication is key! I will be sure to keep you updated about your pup throughout each visit, as well as send pictures periodically. I look forward to watching after your pet! I'm currently a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of free time! With my flexible schedule, I can almost always meet my clients scheduling needs! Large fenced in back yard with a dog door that allows them to go in and out as they please. We always walk the fence before a stay to make sure there are no holes your fur baby could escape from! I am available to keep your fur baby overnight at our house. I am unable to stay at the clients house due to being a mom to two beautiful little girls!

About: I have been around animals my whole life including dogs, cats, horses, iguanas, chickens, and rabbits. I am retired and have plenty of time for pet care. I am retired and have a very open schedule. I have two small dogs, a cat, and rabbits that my daughter helps me with which gives me flexibility. I have 2 small dogs, a cat, and rabbits on nearly 2 acres of land. I live in a neighborhood and have plenty of places to go on walks.

About: I have cared for/worked with 1,000s of dogs over 10+ years across all breeds, ages, and behavioral issues. I managed a dog facility for several years, have worked in multiple other dog facilities. I have taken K9 CPR/First Aid and very knowledgeable on K9 behavior and physical well being. I have trained 100s of dogs in my lifetime. Your dog could not be in better hands. :) I stay home full time so your pet would have 100% of my time and attention! I can be flexible to you and your pets needs! I have very friendly dogs to keep your pup company! If your dog isn’t much of a playful type - that’s okay too! My dogs do not harass and have great social manners. I have a crate I can offer at your request and I am very experienced with dog safety and K9 cpr. When going on walks I ALWAYS check the dogs collar and leash before leaving the house to be sure everything is appropriately secure. I always make sure I watch any dogs before I open doors to be sure no one runs out! My experience with K9 behavior allows me to catch a bad thing before it happens!
