About: I worked at a doggie daycare and boarding facility for two years, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. From group play supervision to feeding, cleaning, and administering medications, I gained experience in all aspects of pet care. I’ve also personally trained three dogs of my own—including a Great Pyrenees and a Black Lab puppy—so I’m very comfortable with everything from basic commands to crate training and leash manners. I’m confident with high-energy pups, large breeds, and dogs who may need a little extra patience. I’m currently available full-time until August 11th, so I can offer flexible and attentive care throughout the day. After that, I’ll be working full-time, but I’ll still be available for evenings, weekends, and early mornings depending on your pet’s needs. I’m happy to coordinate a schedule that works best for you and your pup! Whether your pet is in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, their safety and comfort are always my top priority. I take time to understand each dog’s personality and needs—whether that means sticking to a routine, giving space, or providing extra playtime and cuddles. About: Welcome to my pack! I'm Debi, with 45 years experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from puppies to seniors. I have 2 dogs, Bentley, my 11 year old Blackmouth Cur, and Dually, my 7 y/o Sable GSD. I have a deep love for all dogs, and especially enjoy sport and working dogs that "need a job". I also enjoy spoiling them! Brushing, walking, hiking, throwing a ball, a stick or playing tug, I can be as gentle (or alpha) as needed to ensure your dog is feels safe and loved. Typical Availability: M-F Early morning Drop-ins & after 5 PM. Sat and Sun are flexible. Serving primarily Deer Creek & Morton, then nearby Washington and East Peoria. Both my dogs are crate trained, leash-trained, off-leash trained, and understand and obey these commands: Up, Load, Down, Sit, Stay, Come, Yes, Good, No, Wait, Off, Out, Shake, High Five and Back. Additionally, Bentley understands Left, Right, and Go Straight. If you use other command words, I will adapt.

About: I just love animals and want to help take care of them. This is my second job and my availability is variable. My schedule is iffy so I may be able to watch your pets. I’m a young adult looking to get some extra money. I have dog sat before for neighbors and friends but I haven’t done a lot of the overnight stuff. Mostly I just have let dogs out and walk them and if you have special needs I can usually do those. I am very energetic, caring, and love dogs, but I don’t have one due to my parents. I am hoping to eventually own a dog. I can’t wait to work for you and help take care of your best friends! I’m currently working full time and available to let dogs out before and after work and on my lunch break. I also typically have Sunday and Monday off until my schedule changes in August. About: Hey y’all!!!!!!! Huge animal lover here of ALL animals! I put my heart & time into any animals I care for so there safety will never be a worry & I have no problem sending daily picture updates of your fur babies on our adventures or just at relaxing at home. In my home they will feel safe & be spoiled as they should be,I make homemade organic dog treats & a dog room which has a door to the outside and dog beds so everyone is comfy in there own beds just like we are and even basic dog walks/house pop ins will be a time for me to interact with them and make sure your pets are set up for the day & know they aren’t alone. I’m a volunteer firefighter and I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule and my husband is also a great help around the house. In my home we have a fully fenced (6ft) privacy fence & we treat grass for fleas monthly so no worries about any critters coming home with you

About: I have grown up around animals my whole life. I have experience caring for both cats and dogs. I have 3 cats(one special needs) and a giant breed dog! I have experience administering non-injection medication to animals with health issues. I love animals of all sizes! Communication is very important to me and I stay in close contact the entire time I’m caring for your babies! I am unemployed so I have all the time in the world! I may have some random scheduling conflicts but I will always update my schedule to reflect that. I treat them like they are my own! I give them all the loves and care that they need from me while I’m with your little babies!

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and started helping with their care at age 10. Though the last 12 years have truly deepened my experience and love for animal care. Currently, I share my home with four cats and a German Shepherd/Husky puppy! Over the years, I’ve had the honor of caring for pets with special needs, both my own and those of friends and loved ones. My puppy and I have completed two 6-week training courses with Canine Initiative – and yes, we still practice those skills daily (with varying levels of success depending on how many squirrels we’ve seen that day). One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for my border collie, Nina, after a serious injury. She needed help walking with a harness, regular cleaning, medications, vet visits, and lots of love. After 2.5 months of dedicated care, she was back on her feet, and we were lucky to share two more wonderful years together. I also cared for her through a late-in-life diabetes diagnosis, which included daily insulin and increased mobility support. I’ve administered medications to dogs including insulin, ear drops, and oral meds, and I’m especially mindful about keeping pets calm and comfortable during care routines. I’m always happy to learn your exact process — whether through an in-person tutorial or a video — to keep your dog’s stress to a minimum. I’m open to caring for dogs with medical or physical needs, with the understanding that for mobility support using a harness, I’m most experienced with dogs 45 lbs. or less. That said, I’m absolutely comfortable walking and caring for dogs over 50 lbs. as long as they are well-mannered on a leash. While I may not be the strongest person physically, I’m confident with larger dogs who don’t pull or lunge too much. If your pup is a gentle giant, we’ll get along just fine on walks! My youngest (age 12) and I work great together playing and giving positive attention to dogs. She has attended most of the dog training classes with me and shown an interest in attending more. If you would prefer myself only, I completely understand! Should your animal need urgent care and I am able to take them to the vet, we are very familiar and close with Morton Animal Hospital and Banfield Pet Hospital. I cannot recommend them enough! If more assistance is needed than the general care/dog walking, I will adjust the rate and will be happy to discuss this with you. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions! I am currently off for the summer and will have various appointments and activities to do with my children and animals. I am able to adjust my schedule at this time but will let you know if I have anything scheduled during the days needed. I understand sometimes extra or unexpected trips are needed to check on your pet. At this time, I am off for the summer and am able to provide care throughout the day for my own pets. Depending on your dogs activity level, I would prefer to care for your dog at your home due to my dogs young and energetic puppy self, as well as my four indoor cats. Should it work out with bringing your dog to my home and remaining outside with me, I do live on a busy street in town and do experience unsafe, fast driving cars at times (Idlewood). With that said, our yard is completely fenced in, though our back and front fence is 5 ft. in height. Larger, escape artist dogs may have the ability to hop the fence and if that is a concern, I would rather not risk bringing your dog to my home.

About: I have animals of my own and 15 years of experience helping with other animals. I would love to take your dogs for walks or give them some play time throughout the day. I'm open to watching your animals over night too (boarding can be scary). I'm a social worker and off for summer break. I have a lot of free time throughout the day which allows me to meet your dog or cats needs! I have a big yard but we have a underground fence. I will use a leash to let the dogs out. I have a 1 month old Black Lab that is full of energy along with a 1 year old cat who is very energetic. Both animals are good with people and other pets as well. I am willing to take your dog for walk, appointments, give some attention etc.

About: I have had pets all my life so 17 years of experience. I know how to take care puppies, senior dogs, and special need dogs. I am currently in high school at Morton High school and I am working part time at Starbucks. I can stop by any time after 3 pm. I usually woke nights at Starbucks so I can stop by early in the morning for a walk and I can stop by after work too. I have a huge fenced in yard with 2 friendly and playful small sized dogs. I can easily crate your dog when I am not home. I have a doggie door that leads into my backyard and they will have access to it all day long. When I dog sit for family friends I try to at least spend 4 hours in their house to play with the dog and go for a walk.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and reptiles. I am a former vet assistant who want to continue working with animals as I have so much love to give. I am currently working full time but I live with multiple people who are willing to help me with boarding. I don’t work all day so I would love to take your pet for walk! I also can do drop ins on my days off which I have 3 days off a week. I also have a partner who is in this with me who loves animals as much. I do have a 8-6 job four days a week for anyone wanting house sitting. I also am able to board reptiles or do house visits for them also. I offer more items like nail trims, baths and anal glands for a low price! I have a privacy fenced in yard with some running space. We have a pool but dogs do not have a way into it. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats. The house stays clean and we are neat freaks and we have an up and downstairs in case of wether safety. I have practiced. Weather safety with my animals and continue to due so. My animals have ever shot you can think of and they are on flea and tick prevention and heartgard.

About: I have always taken care of my families pets. When I was 5 I rescued a small kitten. It needed a lot of care and attention. I bottle fed her and made sure she got all her medications. When I turned 19 I was able to get my first dog. He is a high energy bundle of fluff and love. He injured his leg. I made sure that he received extra care and attention so that he could get back to chasing off those dangerous squirrels again. 😅. I believe pets are an important part of anyone's family, and I love seeing them happy. I am pretty open as far as my schedule goes. Looking to make this a career. Message me and we can set up a time.
