About: I’ve trained my dog from 8months old up to 13yrs old. Unfortunately she recently passed on, but I moved into a pet friendly apartment with plenty of space for animals. I managed a pet store for 2 years as well specializing in overseeing animal care As a part time worker and artist, my schedule tends to be flexible. I also work part time, so I can work with your needs as well In my own home, I have a pet bed and optional crate my dog used to use. I don’t mind pets on furniture as long as they’re potty trained and won’t go to the bathroom on said furniture. I also always keep my air conditioning on for when it’s hot and the heat on when it’s cold
“My dogs were so happy with Jessica She followed instructions since my puppy Binley is a but extra sometimes So glad I requested her to walk them highly recommend and will request her again”

“Derricker is amazing. Long walks and even grooming at times. So appreciative of Derricker and the extras as I recover from a fractured ankle. She is amazing and Beau waits by the door for her arrival at times.”

“Rebecca was great with my pup, and enjoyed chatting with her during our meet & greet. She asked great questions and left a thorough report card from their walk together. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I will be patient, caring, and delicate with your dog. I will love on it from the moment we meet and I will treat it like the greatest thing in the world. My Sweet Pea, who lived till 15, was the most dearest thing to me, so I know that your dog is also the dearest thing to you. Pea was my heart. I never betrayed my heart, so I will never betray yours. I know all the care needed for dogs from pup to adult size. On her last days, my Sweet pea could not walk, so I used to clean stuff off her like one would a grandma. I used to read to her and sing to her. I googled anything else needed. I can also paint a portrait of your dog, if you want.
“Chenelle was great with my dog Beau Badger. She was reliable and consistent. Beau Badger would perk up every time he knew she had arrived. I had fractured my ankle, unable to walk Beau, so her dependability meant everything to us. Thanks again Chenelle. You can have this evening off. Enjoy your Thanksgiving Holidays.”

“Alex was great with Quinn. She showed up on time great communication and Quinn had a lot of fun with her. She brings her puppy on the walk with her as well so Quinn had a buddy. Will definitely use again and highly recommend.”

“Hennessy has been wonderful! I have an older 75+ lb pitmix who is a big love but due to his breed and size can be intimidating to some people. She was immediately comfortable with him and I feel relieved that my boy has someone who can help me with him. I work in a restaurant and need help on weekends and when I work doubles. She's been so great about my schedule and has been helpful when he was have tummy troubles, even giving him extra time in his walk and giving poop reports. She's been just amazing and I'm so lucky to have her helping me out. My boy is in good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Lee was awesome! I requested his services to walk and feed my dog while I was an away on a trip, and it was a great experience. Lee was very communicative, punctual, reliable, and all around great with my doggo. I would definitely recommend his services to any dog owners that needs someone good and trustworthy to care for them.”

“Shariana is absolutely incredible. She is very communicative, reliable, and punctual and has been seamlessly continuing our 7 month old puppy’s training on his walks while we are at work! She has been walking him for almost a month now and I couldn’t be happier knowing he is in the best, most trustworthy hands!”

About: I am a college student with a lot of energy . I grew up around different animals and had 3 dogs while growing up. Not only did having pets around gave me emotional support that I needed but felt that they understood me when nobody did. Unfortunately right now I don’t own a pet since I go away for college out of state every few months. I did find this great way to still be close to animals 🫶🏽 and I do guarantee you that I will treat your loving pet like my own. Taking care of furry animals is what I enjoy doing the most and I’m here to make you and your baby feel most comfortable. Animals are innocent, and genuine full with love. I would be able to walk the dogs at least 2-3 times a day for 30 minutes to an hour if preferred. I always make sure that the water bowl is always full so they don’t suffer no dehydration. Most importantly that they are fed according to the schedule the owner provides to me. Throughout the week I do exercise and take fresh air in my complex state park where there’s a lot of green land and free space. I do take the dogs there and make sure they enjoy it as much as I do. I’ll assure you to make sure that your Pet is in no danger down to holding The leech tightly when it’s time to go for a potty. Making sure they are not sniffing/eating something they’re not supposed to. Additionally being highly attentive and responsible when other dog breeds come around being aware of their safety. Not only do I have energetic energy to give back when is playful time.I always ask the owners if they have any specific schedules/ dietary restrictions for their pets, which I will try to match to the best of my ability. I stay in contact and keep the owner always updated on their pet by sending pictures & videos answering any questions or concerns. I do understand that leaving your pet in another persons responsibility can be a little worrying at times and I want to accommodate as much as possible. Definitely consider myself a dog auntie and I can’t wait to meet you and your furry ball of joy 💗💗!!!!
About: I’m very attentive and caring with both dogs and cats, and I take their routines, health, and emotional needs seriously. Being a parent has shaped the way I care for others—patient, responsible, and deeply observant—so animals feel safe, understood, and well looked after in my care. I work from home and also have an art studio just a few doors away, which gives me a very flexible schedule. Because of this, I’m able to spend a lot of time with dogs, take them on regular walks, and never leave them alone for long. My studio is dog-friendly, so I can bring them with me during the day, making sure they’re comfortable, supervised, and part of my daily routine. Safety and trust guide how I care for pets in my home or a client’s home. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, and any special needs. Because I work from home and have a nearby, dog-friendly studio, pets are rarely alone and stay supervised throughout the day. I keep spaces calm, clean, and secure, and always prioritize making animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
Morris Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
Lainey has been absolutely amazing with our dog, Zuse! She has been a total lifesaver, often making herself available on short notice, which has been a huge blessing for our busy schedule. We love her, and more importantly, our fur baby loves her too. If you are looking for someone trustworthy and caring, look no further—you will love her just as much as we do! Why we recommend Lainey: Reliability: Always there when we need her, even last-minute. Bonding: Zuse took to her immediately. Peace of Mind: We know our pup is in the best hands.

Will’s the best. He’s flexible, super communicative, and just a genuinely nice guy. This was my first time using Rover, and he made the whole process easy and stress-free. I felt confident knowing my dog was in good hands and will absolutely book with him again.

We needed some help for my two Shiba Inus over the busy holiday season. Jody was very responsive and was able to do a meet and greet quickly to make sure we were comfortable leaving them in her hands. We used her for multiple walks a day and to also give a pill to my older Shiba. She also did a couple feedings and a water change. She did a great job and was communicative the entire time, we felt confident she was doing a great job. She even was able to walk them to our regular sitter at the end of the few days of service. We will definitely use her again if we need someone and would recommend her to others!

We had a fantastic experience! Annye took wonderful care of our cat, Louis (9), and our dog, Hazel (7), with drop ins and walks over a week. Communication was excellent (we received consistent updates and photos, which gave us total peace of mind). Both pets were happy and bonded quickly, which says a lot. Also went above and beyond to handle a few issues that came up, and did so with flexibility and care. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend!
