“So responsive and helpful!! She helped go back to my house to check on my dog's tail which was so kind!! My dogs have loved their walks :) will definitely be asking for her help again”

“Rachel is the best!! She always goes above and beyond, takes the best pictures (even with my nonphotogenic dog) and I feel like she really “gets” both my cat and dog. Thank you so much Rachel!”
“My pup George loved his walk with Shannon! Shannon was communicative and prompt, and sent plenty of photos along the walk. George recommends and so do his paw-rents. Will book again!”

“Theanysla is amazing. She was referred by a friend and was so wonderful walking my pup. She was highly communicative which is important for me with anyone I use on Rover. Her videos of my pup and them walking were so fun to watch. My pup had a big smile on her face the entire time. I’ll definitely be using her in the future.”

“Anna is the best! She is super communicative and has been a life saver for last minute bookings. She also shares a ton of photos and updates when she visits. My dog absolutely loves her and we will continue to use her. 100% recommended using Anna!”

“Chanel is great! My dog loves her and she takes great photos and provides helpful information in the walk description (like poop quality and other important stuff). Definitely recommend her!”

About: Hi! I'm Sydnee! I've had dogs in my life since I was a baby, and that lifelong love for animals has grown into something I take seriously as an adult — I actively read up on animal behavior, care, and wellbeing so I can give every pet the best experience possible. I've been professionally dog sitting for a year now, offering house sitting, drop-in visits, and walks. I work full-time Monday through Thursday, so drop-ins and walks are best scheduled Friday through Sunday — but feel free to reach out about overnight house sitting any day of the week. Whether your pup needs a midday potty break, a companion for their daily walk, or someone to stay overnight and keep them company while you're away, I treat every dog like they're my own. I'm reliable, attentive, and genuinely happiest when I'm around animals — this isn't just a side gig for me, it's something I love doing. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! Here's how a typical day looks: I'll take care of your pet's morning routine — feeding, walks, whatever they're used to — then head to work, and come back to them in the evening. Your pets get to stay home, comfortable and secure, and they're always my top priority. I'm great at following routines and will treat your critters like my own. Whether it's a specific feeding schedule, walk time, or bedtime ritual, I'm happy to adapt — and I'll make sure they get plenty of affection and playtime along the way.

“Sarah is amazing! Our dog is VERY fearful and nervous. Sarah was very caring and understanding through the whole process, going to extra lengths to help our dog while we were away and keeping us regularly updated. Sarah’s also very responsive, which was a relief while we were away.”

About: Between my wife and I there will be someone home to care for your sweet pet at all times! Feel free to enjoy your day without worry. One of us works from home while the other is on a pretty sporadic schedule, no matter what though there will always be someone home for them! We offer a fenced in back yard and a house with all food and cleaning products put away so there's no chance of someone getting into something they don't need!
About: I’ve always been an animal lover and know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets! I spent five wonderful years caring for my own rescue, Ares, a sweet German Shepherd/Husky mix who taught me plenty about caring for (and loving!) a big, energetic dog. I also regularly spend time with and help care for my best friends’ two small dogs and my brother’s Labradoodle, so I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve frequently dog-sat for friends and family and am happy to help with walks, playtime, meals, cuddles, and keeping your pet comfortable in their normal routine while you’re away. I’m also a fish owner and have lots of love for our scaly friends, too! Above all, I’m someone who genuinely loves animals and will treat your pets with the same patience, affection, and attention I’d want for my own. 🐾 I currently have a very flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of availability for pet care throughout the week! I’m available on both weekdays and weekends and can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits. Having flexibility in my day also means I can give your pets plenty of attention without needing to rush through our time together. I’m happy to work with your pet’s usual routine whenever possible so they can stay comfortable and happy. I know how much trust it takes to leave both your pet and your home in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’ll always follow your pet’s usual routine and any care instructions you provide, including feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any house rules or safety precautions. I also pay close attention to each pet’s personality, comfort level, and body language rather than assuming every animal wants the same kind of interaction. While I’m in your home, I’ll treat your space with the same care and respect I’d want someone to show mine. Most importantly, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’ll happily keep you updated with photos and messages so you know how they’re doing! 🐾

About: Hello my name is Thomas (TJ). I have been caring for both my own pets and those of others for two decades now. I utilize my experience working in professional kennels and training centers to better help care for the needs of your furry friends. My love of animals began when I was five, when I received my first pet, a German Shepherd rescue named Bullet. I've since had several cats, four dogs(currently have a brilliant GSD named Saint), seven ferrets, a coupe of rabbits and a sugar glider named Pete. Outside of my time with my own pets I worked as a dog walker and Cat Sitter in New York City for a year, meeting and caring for all manner of breed from each species. I've also spent four summers volunteering at my hometown veterinary clinic back in high school, cleaning up after, feeding, and helping to enrich the animals that were being held overnight or longer. More recently I've worked as a kennel technician at Doggie Dude Ranch and Church Ranch Vet Clinic. There's nothing more important to me than the love and joy of pets. When I'm not spending time around animals I like to enrich my own life both physically and mentally. I currently work out to keep in good shape, practice both yoga and meditation and enjoy riding my motorcycle. In my professional life I am a chef, and have translated my skills and training over 10 years leaning about food and nutrition, and have been using my knowledge to feed and care for my pets by preparing them fresh and healthy meals that don't come out of a can, box, or bag. I'm working to make pet care my business and career. I recently left an office job that I stayed at the last three years While I enjoyed the nice wages and benefits, I prefer to feed my soul with my work and taking care of animals does this for me in spades. I can work with your schedule, simply let me know the times that work best for you. In my own home I have a fenced in yard with a 5.5ft metal grate fence that is padlocked to prevent unwanted opening. I also use a radio collar fence for my own dogs which keeps them safely confined in a humane manner. When caring for pets I take into account disposition, age, health and any special needs. I never allow interaction of your pets with anyone else or their pets unless instructed that this is okay and even then with the most careful of supervision. I believe strongly in letting the pet "tell" me what they want, in the manner they communicate best. It is up to us to read their clear communication with a pet focused brain, rather than in a human capacity. When on walks or in care situations, my phone remains mostly out of hand except for picture taking. I give the pets all the focus I can so they get the best experience possible.

Sarah has been regularly walking my golden retriever for over a year and is so wonderful with her! Paisley is always well cared for and loved by Sarah. I know she is in good hands even if Paisley pulls on the leash or needs redirection. We are so grateful for her care and consistency!

Millie did a great job walking my dog for the first time. We set up a meet and greet and Millie was on time and she showed great interest in my dog, Sal. When you hire someone for the first time, it is always a bit of a question mark. Millie was conscientious and thorough in her care. I’m glad I found someone that I can rely on and call again.

Mackenzie was wonderful with my pup Charlie! This was our first time leaving him home alone for a full workday, and she immediately put my mind at ease. She was reliable, communicative, and so kind with him. Charlie loved his walk, and it was such a relief knowing he was in great hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!

Serena was amazing! She's very quick to respond and took suh great care of my dog, and even went for a little longer on the walks. She also accepted a very last minute request and help me and my dog Pépé out of a bind. Will definitely keep using her! Can't recommend enough.
