FT Sitter-CPR, Insured LLC

INTRODUCTION: Hey! Thanks so much for clicking on my profile. My name is Mackenzie. I'm 29 and have been pet sitting full time for 5 years. I have my own insurance via PCI, I’m Pet First Aid & CPR Certified, registered with the state (Rocky Mountain Ruffers LLC) & Animal Caretaker Certified. Everyone who knows me knows that I am a huge animal lover. A dream of mine is to open a non-profit shelter for at-risk dogs that need homes. So if you do book a service with me - thank you for contributing to my dream! P.S. I adore cats as well! EXPERIENCE: My dog is so important to me, so I understand that when you leave, you want your dog to be in good hands. I have had over 5 of my own dogs growing up - big and small, all with various personalities. I've watched around 40+ dogs prior to making a Rover account, most of which turned out to be reoccurring customers. I try to go above and beyond for the dogs and the owners by providing excellent care. I have taken care of dogs/cats with various medical needs including but not limited to: epilepsy, hypothyroidism, diabetes, pets with amputations, chronic ear infections, allergies and more. Most of my clientele are dogs but about 35-40% are cats! I don’t breed discriminate so pitties and sheps or whatever else doesn’t matter to me as long as we get along at the meet and greet we will be best pals.

Mackenzie was wonderful with my pup Charlie! This was our first time leaving him home alone for a full workday, and she immediately put my mind at ease. She was reliable, communicative, and so kind with him. Charlie loved his walk, and it was such a relief knowing he was in great hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!

Mackenzie is literally amazing! She came over before hand to meet my dog and I instantly knew she would be great! She followed all my instructions, sent pictures, and gave detailed updated of what happened during her visit! She was on time, very kind, and my dog seemed to love her! An added plus is that she was able to book on short notice which is always appreciated for last minute needs! 10/10 recommend!

Mackenzie is a wonderful dog walker for our sweet pup! She is thoughtful, very responsible, attentive to our dog's needs and training, communicates clearly, and works with our schedule. Our dog loves her and is sad when she must say goodbye at the end of the walk! Highly recommend.

Mackenzie is awesome! She is reliable, on time and very knowledgable. We had a medical issue while we were gone, and she helped my mom assess and get our pup to the vet. We definitely would recommend her!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

SCHEDULE: As this is my full time job, I have flexibility! For regular/recurring scheduled drop-ins while you’re at work for example: 7:30am-4pm is ideal. For care while you’re out of town, obviously visit times may fall outside of this time frame and that is 100% okay and to be expected - we can discuss times that work best for your pets and my schedule! Generally, 8pm is the ideal last visit of the day for out-of-town care.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

SAFETY/TRUST: I am a very attentive and involved sitter - often thinking 3 steps ahead and double checking locks/clips/etc. I want your pups to be safe just as much as you do so I am always keeping an eye on them to make sure they’re not getting into anything dangerous in the yard, etc. and also looking far ahead on walks for any potential problems (ex. an off leash unaccompanied dog). I understand it may not be easy letting a stranger in your home. I am very respectful and treat your home exactly as I would want my home to be treated if I were away. I try my best to leave your home exactly as I found it. It is important to me that collars/harnesses are properly fitted and not loose enough to slip out of if the dogs are to be taken on walks to ensure everyone’s safety. I have never had a dog get loose before on my watch and I’d like to keep it that way! More than anything, I want you to feel comfortable and know that you can trust me with your home and your pets so you can enjoy your time away without having to worry. Anything I can do to relieve any stress - feel free to reach out. I am an open book.

Pets

A typical day

Whether it’s playing with toys, cuddles, practicing commands, or going for a stroll, your pets and I will have a great time! For kitties - whether they’re hiding, playful or the snuggly type, I will be there enjoying their company in all regards (see cat care section for more info).

Dogs and cats alike MUST be friendly with people with NO history of aggression. If friendly, I’d also like to know anything your pet is uneasy about so I’m aware of it while they’re in my care (ex. loud noises, other dogs, bikers, etc). I want to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible. Also please let me know if they have any medical issues I should be looking out for. Thank you for considering me and I look forward to meeting you + your furry friends.
