“Susan was beyond amazing. I have a sweet 4-year-old Pomeranian named Thor who has separation anxiety. I traveled to Southeast Asia for a couple of weeks for family reasons, and this was the longest we’d ever been apart since I got him at 8 weeks old. Leaving him was incredibly difficult, and I had a lot of concerns about how he would handle being away from me. Susan was patient, understanding, and truly went above and beyond in helping Thor transition. She supported him with eating, socialization, and most importantly, helped him feel safe and loved. She was also incredibly kind and compassionate toward me, understanding how hard it was to be away from Thor for such a long time. We communicated regularly, and she sent photos and updates even though I was on the other side of the planet. She was also very understanding when unexpected travel issues came up. Thor had the opportunity to be around other dogs in a safe, structured, and loving environment, and Susan put so much care and intention into every phase of his adjustment. When I picked him up after two weeks, he was happy, calm, and there have been no behavioral challenges since coming home. I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about having “Aunty” Susan as Thor’s caretaker.”

I was worried how my new dog (still adapting to life with me) would do at doggy daycare. I was so relieved to see her pulling at the leash to greet Alyssa every morning, looking forward to her time with Cici, Teddy, and the crew! It was amazing! She came home to me with her tail wagging and super happy everyday. Alyssa also accommodated my very early mornings and long hours as a hospitalist and late evenings networking at the end of a long conference day. About: My fiancé and I are animal lovers and have a two year old adopted spaniel named Digby and a one year old adopted cockapoo named Pippa. We love caring for animals and our dogs love meeting new friends, so we enjoy dog sitting because it gives us an opportunity to have lots of furry friends around and our dogs get some new temporary playmates (if we could we would just adopt all the animals!) We have been sitting on Rover for several years and love it! We generally try to limit the dog visitors we have at one time to two so that we can give your furbabies all the attention they deserve! Digby and Pippa go on one or two 15-30 minute walks a day, and any visiting dogs are welcome to come along - the more the merrier. We look forward to meeting your fur babies! We work full-time from home and like spending a lot of time at home hanging out with the pups outside of work hours too. Occasionally one of us may go into the office for a few hours or the day but we generally will both not be gone all day. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs. Dogs will not be left unattended in the yard, I watch them at all times when they are outside.

My dog is part of my family, and I always care for other pets the way I would hope others would care for mine. I am able to match my day to your dog’s needs, which means I’m always available to take them on walks, out to play, or for a potty break when they need it. About: Growing up on a farm in North Dakota and volunteering at local shelters means that I've been caring for animals almost my entire life. Dogs, cats, and horses, I was part of taking care of our pets from the day they were born until they crossed the rainbow bridge, always treating them like family. I am retired from the Air Force and have recently left federal service, so I can easily adjust my schedule to fit you and your pets needs! Safety is my highest priority. I am familiar with safe dog introductions and reading their body language. Additionally, I am trained to safely intervene between animals if they become aggressive, while minimizing injury to the animals and myself. This was taught before I could work at the FM dog rescue. l will respond quickly to reduce stress on your pet. I would like to know immediately if something is upsetting one of my pets, and it is essential that yours receive the same treatment.

About: I lived in a house with dogs for 12 years and have raised 2 seeing eye guide puppies, spending 18 months of training with each one as they grew up I am currently a student and can do the majority of my coursework remotely, so I have a pretty flexible schedule to be around to care for pets most days I have no other pets in the home at the moment. I live in a pet friendly apartment building with a dog park outside and can easily crate the dog and take them for walks according to their needs
