“I am so happy to have met Bria through Rover!!! She did an excellent job taking care of my dog Kane while I was on a five-day work trip. Bria is communicative and so pleasant! She kept me updated and never failed to send me photos/videos which made my time away so much more bearable - I knew he was in good hands! Also, I returned to a happy dog in a clean room! They seem to have gotten along really well and I will definitely be using her again in the future. Thanks Bria/Rover!!!”
“Delina was amazing and so thoughtful with Kitty. She's an amazing cat photographer and now I have usable pictures of my cat! As an elder cat with medical needs, Delina was careful and delivered Kitty's daily insulin medication and even prepped a new syringe because I miscounted the days. Thank you for an amzing job and the incredible bond you built with Kitty these past 2 weeks. Delina's communication was on point and consistent. If she is willing, I'd ask Delina to be my rover in the future!”

“This was my second time booking Max. He sends me adorable photos of my cat and clearly enjoys hanging out with the animals and making sure they are well taken care of.”
About: I’ve been around both cats and dogs since a young age, and I’m very comfortable caring for animals of all sizes. I have particular experience with larger dog breeds, as I grew up around them and regularly helped with walking and basic care. While I’ve considered pursuing formal dog training, the opportunity hasn’t presented itself just yet. I’m excited about this opportunity with Rover because it offers a flexible way to earn income on my own schedule while also staying active and getting my steps in! Pet care fits into my weekly schedule because I am available after my full time Monday - Friday after 5:30pm. Also Saturdays starting at 11am. With that I want to be to take a few days out the week and get my steps in and enjoy the outside weather. In my own home, I make sure my pets have everything they need—regular feedings, playtime, and plenty of time to relax and feel comfortable. When caring for pets in someone else’s home, I take the time to understand their individual needs and routines, and I follow any specific instructions to ensure their pets feel safe, happy, and well-cared for.
“Mikeala took great care of my cats! She made sure they were eating, scooped their litter box, and went out of her way to clean up their little messes. I’d be happy to use her again! Thanks Mikeala!”

About: I’ve taken care of several pets since I was young. I had several dogs and cats (sometimes at the same time!). I love walking and playing with dogs, I’ve trained my puppy. I have taken care of big and small dogs. I have also taken care of kittens and adult cats. I have litter trained kittens and played with them often. I currently work full time, but am more than happy to watch your fur baby on my days off! I have days off where I have no plans and would love to spend it with more dogs or with your cat! I have a fenced in yard and two fur babies (dogs) of my own who are friendly and can keep your fur baby company. I am use to watching other people’s fur babies in a 24 hour care setting.
About: I’ve taking care of animals practically my hole life and nothing brings me more joy than playing with them and seeing them happy and safe. I do walks in the morning and evenings and spend most of my free time in my apartment. Taking care of your little ones would be an excellent fit on my weekly routines. I care fully about the pets that I look out for. Making them feel comfortable, happy and safe is top priority for me all the time.
About: I’ve had my own dog for three years now and love getting to know other four-legged buddies and their personalities. Giving them love and a safe space is invaluable. I work from home half of the week and have my own dog that is familiar with his daily routine of walks and mealtimes. Enrichment is an important part of his care, both physically and mentally. We have a fenced yard for outdoor play, along with all kinds of toys and supplies for your doggy friend! My own dog loves making new friends, but can be separated from yours if needed.

“Ehuniz is wonderful and she's doing such an amazing job that we are planning our vacations according to her schedule. It is a peace of mind to leave the cats in her hands. Ehuniz spends time during the visits to really take care of them. Thanks!”

“Gina was absolutely great with my cats. We came back to happy and well taken care cats. I received pictures of them everyday and she also spent some time to play with them. She was so nice to even make sure my mail was taken inside the house which I greatly appreciated. She even help feed our outdoor cat who kind of took permanent shelter in our backyard. I would definitely recommend Gina to care for your pets while you are away.”

“I was soooo nervous to leave my dog, Chance, to go on a birthday trip (so much that I considered canceling the trip). I knew I preferred the drop in visits for Chance so I gave Rover a shot. From the moment I sent the request, Brieana’s communication was amazing. We met her prior to my trip, and Chance immediately loved her. She made me feel so at ease with consistent communication, and she treated Chance like her own. I will definitely be requesting her again.”

“I booked Kordell--my first Rover ever--over the Thanksgiving holiday after learning that my usual kennel was booked. He was very responsive, reliable, and took good care of my cat. Kordell put both me and my cat at ease. I will definitely be re-booking him in the future.”

About: I have been around a variety of animals my entire life! Currently we have a 2 year old Newfoundland. We love the big and fluffy dogs. Winston loves making new friends to play with. We have a large fenced in Yard (5 foot tall fence). I have raised huskies for 12 years, so I have experience with the energetic, hyper active dog breeds. I also have experience with many other animals as I have had them as pets previously (cats, lizards, ferrets, rats, hamsters, birds). I prefer to pet sit for only one family at a time. This is for your pets safety as well as my dogs. I was a vet tech for 12 years. I am comfortable giving medications (oral, injection, topical, eye drops). I have experience with young and older dogs. Typically first potty break is around 6am and bedtime around 9pm. During the day dogs can go outside every few hours as needed. I currently primarily telework 3 days a week, and go in person to the office 2 days a week. Dogs are welcome in the home office and will get let out throughout the day. When I have to go in person, dogs are kenneled. My in person days are typically 9 hour days. Dogs are fed twice a day and sepetate from one another. Food bowls are not left out during the day. There is always access to fresh water. Dogs sleep in the bedroom with us at night. The back yard is fully fenced in (15 steps down). I also have a ti-out in the front yard for senior dogs who are not good with stairs. The kitchen and living room area are baby gated off. Gates are only shut when needed. Otherwise dogs have full access to 1st and 2nd floor. Winston is very friendly and loves them company of other dogs (playing or lounging togeher).
“Solid 5 stars for Ms. Rita and her care for Calie and Bow! Her visits were timely. We know that she was exceptional because they almost seemed disappointed when they realized it was is coming through the door and not Ms. Rita! Will definitely book again when the need arises.”

Morningside cat parents share their Rover experiences
Linda is an amazing catsitter! I am so glad I found her. She was able to help me with a really short notice. My cat was melted in love with her. She has a really good communication and really care about the animals. She sent photos and video to me. And left everything great at my place. I am sure I will ask her again for the help as soon as I travel again. Super highly recommended! Thank you Linda foe your time, love and care to my cat!

I’ve booked Jessica before and Jessica has always been reliable. This time, Jessica cared for my cat while I was on a multi-month trip to Europe. She consistently checked in via the Rover app and sent about three photos per visit (sometimes up to five). One photo was always of the food bowl, others were of my cat if my cat was out from hiding — and sometimes just of he glowing eyes hiding under the bed! I don’t blame Jessica for that; my cat is always like that with new sitters, or right after I leave. Jessica also watered my plants and brought in packages as requested. Due to a new job promotion and family responsibilities, Jessica had to reduce visits, so some days I had hoped for two but my cat only had one. While I wasn’t thrilled about the long gaps, I understand the circumstances. Jessica has since let me know catsitting is no longer possible, so I’m glad that she stuck with it for as long as she did, and that she communicated clearly when she needed to make a change. Jessica returned my key promptly, and when visits happened, they were dependable. I appreciated the care and updates during my trip — including the now-iconic food-bowl photos — and wish Jessica the very best in the future!
