About: As a woman In her 40s, in addition to growing up with a German Shepard/Husky mix, I’ve had years of experience with dogs. In 2019, My daughter & I added a new addition to our family which is known as Our Chihuahua Mellow 🎀! With that being said, I have experience with pups ranging in Age, Breed & Size. I work part-time , so I have plenty of time to care for your pups. I’d prefer any bookings with atleast a 2-3 day notice so I can adjust my schedule and take care of your fur babies to the best of my abilities! 🐶 I have a Fenced in backyard that allows the dogs to play on a Safe & confined space. I also have a large crate if needed.

Every pet has to know the boundaries so that we can live in peace and harmony with each other4. Once they learn what is and isn't acceptable, there is mutual love and respect in the house. Since I retired, I'm home most of the day except for appointments or errands. I doggie sat my grand doggie for my son quite often. Starting out, I prefer to care for pets in my home. I live in a Condo. I don't have a yard, but I do have an unfenced in Courtyard right in front of my steps. Before my son's dog, passed away last year, I used to take her to several different parks for walks as well. She also loved long rides. We walked at the National Harbour, Yards Park, Tucker's Park, and the DC Warf. While she was with me, I'd send videos to my son of how she was doing and our activities, especially while he was on travel or vacation.

“We needed someone to look after our dog Archie for the day while we went to an event. We were going for the whole day and wouldn't be returning until the eveing so we didn't want to leave Archie alone for that long. Our usual dog sitter wasn't available on that day so I contacted Brian and another pet sitter on Rover to see if either one could look after him instead. It was a bit last minute (3 days notice) which was my fault for not trying to sort something sooner. The other person didn't even respond to my enquiry but Brian immediately did and said he was available. I made the necessary booking arrangements and Brian was felixable with drop off and pick up times if we needed to nudge them in case of traffic or whatever (we were an hour away). On the day we got sent pictures of Archie and I could see he was having a good time and felt comfortable with Brian in his home and with his dogs.
