“Sandi is absolutely amazing! She took such good care of my 2 cats with daily drop in visits. She did a free ‘get to know’ visit and wrote all the notes about food and litter and their hiding spots. My cats were too shy to say hi then, but over the next 8 days one of them was purring and cuddling with her. She sent daily notes and tons of pictures and even videos with detailed reports on how much food had been consumed, if they were peeing and pooing ok- some of those notes were hilarious and so endearing. She cleaned the litter boxes everyday and left that area so clean. At no point during the trip was I worried about the little ones. I highly recommend Sandi to take care of your fur babies (as she refers to them in her daily notes), she is awesome.”

About: Hi, my name is Jenny and I have a lifelong love of animals. I have cared for various types over the years including dogs, cats, birds, fish, chickens, goats, and horses. I have the most experience with cats, dogs, birds and fish. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we are the proud parents of five lovely girls (two are grown up and starting lives of their own) two amazing labradoodles and two sweet kitty cats who we fostered from our local animal shelter. My dog has regular walks and gets excited to go to the morgan hill dog park which we try to visit as much as possible. Ally in general is a very easy high energy dog. I currently have two cats as well. One is a rescue who had trouble coming out of her shell. We also adopted a kitten from the shelter. Both of them eat well and are thriving!

I tailor my approach to each dog—high-energy pups get structured walks and play, while shy, anxious, or senior dogs get extra patience and gentle support. I’m safety-minded (secure leash/harness checks and close supervision), and I also add enrichment like sniffy walks, puzzle time, and basic manners reinforcement. Most importantly, I communicate—expect regular photo/video updates and quick responses, so you always stay informed about how your pup is doing. I keep a consistent schedule that works great for a routine-loving pup. Weekdays, I work 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with care available before work and after 2:30 PM. For Morgan Hill locals, I can also do a longer mid-morning check-in at 10:00 AM for potty, play, and a reset. Weekends, I’m free and can provide lots of attention, walks, and enrichment. Since I have a dog at home who isn’t comfortable with other dogs, I only offer care in your home. This setup is actually a big plus for many pets—your dog gets to stay in their own familiar space, stick to their routine, and avoid the stress of a new environment. I’m exceptionally comfortable with dogs who need a little extra patience. I rescued my own dog from a shelter, and she was completely reactive when I first brought her home. With consistent training and calm handling, I’ve helped her make tremendous progress. While she still doesn’t love other dogs, she can be around them, and I can manage and redirect her safely. My dog will not be joining me while I watch yours; my wife will be taking care of our dog while I take care of yours When I’m in your home, I focus on: Keeping your pet on their regular feeding, potty, and walk routine Using a safe leash and harness checks before every walk Providing structured walks and play, plus calm downtime Following any training rules you use (crate, boundaries, commands, etc.) Sending regular photo/video updates so you always know how things are going. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, understood, and cared for—especially if they’re shy, sensitive, or reactive.
