I was the primary caretaker for our family dog for 15 years, have worked in many animal care facilities ranging from a dog grooming boutique to the zoo! On top of my hands-on experience with dogs and cats, I have an educational background in wildlife conservation. My passion in life is to care for all animals the way they deserve to be cared for, so you can trust that I will put 110% of my love, skills, and dedication to your beloved pets. I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to be home during parts of the day so you can be sure your pet will get plenty of exercise, outdoor time, and cuddles (if they like them). You should note that I also have a pet bunny and a roommate who will be sharing the responsibilities! I am happy to keep the bunny separated or if they are friendly letting them roam together. It's up to you and what you are comfortable with! We can always set up a greeting ahead of watching your pet as well. Safety is my number one priority when it comes to caring for other living creatures, so you can be sure that I will be communicative and explicit with detail about how your pet is doing along with any concerns you or I may have. I want you to be secure in knowing that your pet is in a loving and safe environment. Providing specific feeding regimens, favorite toys, and places your pet enjoys will be helpful in making sure that safe environment is all the more comfortable for them as well!

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve watched friends’ pets in the past to help them out. I’ve boarded and walked on multiple occasions. I work during the day M-F. During the summer my two very responsible 19 and 20 year olds are home to help out and play with the animals as well. I’m looking at this as a learning opportunity in responsibility for them. I have a small yard and live in a nice neighborhood that is good for walking. I have a dog named Westley who is 3 1/2 and a cat, Daisy, that is 6. Both have been around both dogs and cats. Daisy generally will hide if she’s scared. Westley loves to play.

I work full time Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm, but I’m available for pet care before work, after 3:30pm on weekdays, and any time throughout the weekends. I can provide evening walks, drop-in visits, overnight care, and weekend boarding. I’ll always communicate with you, follow your pet’s routine, and make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and quality care while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a large fenced yard for dogs to enjoy, and the driveway entrance is securely blocked off whenever pets are outside. Cats are kept safely indoors in a calm environment. I have two friendly, well-socialized dogs, and I always introduce pets carefully while supervising all interactions. I can keep pets separated if needed, follow your pet’s routine, and provide regular updates with photos so you know they’re happy and well cared for.
