“My family and I went on a mini vacation for 3 nights. When I left my two dogs with Monica I felt very comfortable and felt there was no need to worry about anything, well boy was I right! She is fabulous! About 20 min into their stay with her, she messaged me pictures of them Playing and lounging around . She continued to send me pics daily of them showing me how they were, which was very relieving! The very last day one of my dogs was experiencing loose poops (we think it was just from the heat) which she also had messaged me about prior to pick up . My dog has an accident in her house which I felt terrible about but she was so easy going and sweet about it which was really nice , since I felt so bad! I would take my dogs back to her in a heartbeat! They loved their stay with her and we enjoyed our vacation without worrying about our doggies! She is also very reasonable! I would recommend her 100%!”

“We rebooked with Mindy for a recent trip after our experience with her last time. Our dog is a little bit neurotic & high maintenance and doesn’t like to be left alone in new places. It is so so so nice to be able to go on vacation and not worry about her because Mindy takes such good care of her. My dog randomly stopped eating and Mindy figured out that if she changed her bowl she would eat. She took her for plenty of walks and gave her plenty of snuggles - our dog even gets to sleep in Mindy’s bed at night! We are so relieved to have found Mindy and would recommend her to anyone.”

Daisy seemed to settle in quickly and was able to relax on the couch and sleep in bed. She was taken on walks. Denae and Mark have a very nice home and really love dogs! “As all true dog lovers know, a dog is not just a pet, it is a member of the family. As such, I am very cautious about where and who I leave my dog with. As we had never had to leave our Violet with anyone, my wife and I were very worried when we had to leave our girl for almost 2 weeks. We did not feel comfortable boarding her at a kennel as we didn’t think she would respond well to that environment. So, we went to Rover to see if we could find someone we thought would be a good fit for our Violet. After reading multiple write ups on various Rover sitters, we found Erika who we thought looked like a good fit and was close to our home. At our meet and greet with Erika, my wife and I had perfect peace as we met with Erika and saw the home where Violet would be staying. Erika had a warm and inviting home, a fenced in backyard, and the perfect playmate, ( her dog Huxley) for our girl Violet. My wife and I decided immediately that this home and sitter would be the perfect fit for Violet. We were not disappointed! Erika loved our Violet as much as she loved her own dog and showered her with love and affection. She sent us daily pictures and videos of Violet and her dog playing, napping, and just having a wonderful time. She was having so much fun. We jokingly, worried that Violet wouldn’t want to come home with us after spending time with Erika. Ha Ha. In summary, any dog would be lucky to spend time with Erika. She is an amazing person and we were so happy we found her. This app only let me put in a rating of 5 stars, but if I could have, I would have put in 10 or more stars in rating her performance. We would definitely use Erika again in the future, if and when we needed to board our Violet. My only worry is that after reading my review of Erika, everyone will want to board with her and I won’t be able to have my Violet stay with her when I next need her. Ha ha.”

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve watched friends’ pets in the past to help them out. I’ve boarded and walked on multiple occasions. I work during the day M-F. During the summer my two very responsible 19 and 20 year olds are home to help out and play with the animals as well. I’m looking at this as a learning opportunity in responsibility for them. I have a small yard and live in a nice neighborhood that is good for walking. I have a dog named Westley who is 3 1/2 and a cat, Daisy, that is 6. Both have been around both dogs and cats. Daisy generally will hide if she’s scared. Westley loves to play.

I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to be home during parts of the day so you can be sure your pet will get plenty of exercise, outdoor time, and cuddles (if they like them). You should note that I also have a pet bunny and a roommate who will be sharing the responsibilities! I am happy to keep the bunny separated or if they are friendly letting them roam together. It's up to you and what you are comfortable with! We can always set up a greeting ahead of watching your pet as well.
