“Max was wore out once I got him home so I know he had a fun day. Brian was great at updating me on Max’s day. I’ll definitely use them again to watch Max”

“Laura was amazing with my off the wall super energetic 3 month old springer spaniel puppy!! She is a super experienced trainer and was amazing at providing a balance between structure/close monitoring for safety and a lot of fun play time for my girl. She sent a lot of updates and advice that was very helpful for our training as well! Laura went above and beyond and even gave me tons of training tips outside of the visit because my pup is very difficult and has been struggling with separation anxiety. Best value out of a Rover stay I’ve ever gotten!”

“Mindy is an excellent, patient and understanding dog sitter. She watched our puppy for a few days, and made more progress with his loose leash walking than we’ve managed to! She’s a real animal lover, and it shows. Our puppy was super exited to see her when I dropped him off on his third day with her. He got to play in the backyard with other dogs, get accustomed to cats thanks to Mindy’s social Bengal mix, and got plenty of walks, exercise and cozy naps. She sent me photos and videos throughout the day.”

“Kimberly is super kind and chill. She watched my dog even though he had a cone. She kept me posted on how he was doing and was prompt at responding. I'll definitely be using her again!”

About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

“Crystal is great with our puppy!! She was very attentive and informative with us throughout the booking process and always kept us up to date on how Ivy was doing while we were at work. Crystal is contentious of our pup’s needs and provides care and affection accordingly. We will definitely be booking with Crystal again!!”

About: . As cliché as it sounds , dogs are my life! I am passionate about the way they communicate. I highly enjoyed back when I volunteered at a foster rescue agency in Charlotte, NC. This opportunity polished my skill of handling myself in high pressure and high energy situations when it comes to dogs and cats. Working for Rover, growing up with dogs, and volunteering was another rewarding pet experience I had which gives you basic but hands on independent experience with clients and there furry loved ones. Rover is actually my main job. It’s enough to support yourself as well as I love the schedule flexibility. I am home most of the time and if I do leave it’s usually just to the grocery store or maybe to dinner. I love being home and watching TV or doing some type of new art. I’m studying to attend Animal Behavior College so I can train PTSD Service dogs and maybe even help socialize shelter pups. As I said I am home most of the time minus the normal grocery store run or what have you. They will get frequent potty breaks as well as a nighttime long walk to wind down so shall they stay overnight. If they have any problem areas,I like to dedicate a small slot of time to enrichment aka knowing as training time. Great way to help me practice as well as help any areas a part might need to work on… Not that they’re not perfect as is 😇. I’m a single mom who has my son by myself full-time however, please don’t think that will interrupt the level of care or undivided attention that your pup will have! My son loves animals he absolutely gets so excited whenever I have a client! Due to being a single mother, I am home full-time, and Rover as I said as my main job. Although I don’t even look at it as a job I seriously love what I do. Whenever I do have a client, I like to adapt to whatever your pups schedule is! I don’t mind getting up as early as 6 AM if that’s what they’re used to. I found that it’s better to keep them on the schedule that they have at home as it helps them acclimate to being away from home. I love my clients and I’m very signature with each one. I like to tailor my service based on the clients needs. For instance, if they are an anxious client with separation anxiety, I will sleep in the living room with them so they do not feel alone. I even like to do little blanket forts with my son and the client and that gives them a little den to feel safe in. If they don’t mind being in the bedroom they are more than welcome in there. I give each client free roam of my home. Whether you choose your home or mine, I will focus solely on making sure your fur baby is not only cared for, but stays entertained as well as meet all of their needs accurately and on time. What’s more is that my home is a calm, peaceful, spacious 4 bedroom with a good size backyard. In the backyard, I have a stake leash tie out so your pup can be secured since it’s not fully fenced in but they also will have about a 20 foot diameter to roam around and feel free. I never leave any client unattended out there however just for safety precautions. In my home, I have plenty of guest items in case you forget anything such as toys, food/water bowls, beds, even doggie sweaters in three different sizes for the colder months and doggy boots in two sizes in case it’s muddy/rainy! I offer meet and greets before the sitting so you and your fur baby can get comfortable and acclimated with myself and my home and I can then address any concerns and answer any questions you may have. During the meet and greet I will also ask YOU a few short yet detailed questions to make sure I take the utmost care of your fur baby while you’re away be it in your home or mine! Some of the questions include specific feeding times, vet & ICE information, favorite, toys, and games, and discuss any behavior issues or anxieties and how I can best comfort them! All pups get to go home with a thank you card and a new toy whether it’s a rope, ball, or squeaker depending on what their favorite is! As you’ll see, it’s an option to take care of your pup in your home if you’re more comfortable with that. When you book housesitting, this includes of course, first and foremost, taking care of your fur baby just the way I would at my house but also includes watering any plants, bringing in any packages or mail, and though it’s not specified through Rover, I like to go above and beyond, so I don’t mind doing any laundry or lighthouse cleaning. I assure you when you arrive home your home will be in the same if not better condition then you left it!

“This was a last minute booking and Holly was more than eager to watch our Anakin. Holly was a delight to meet, very friendly, outgoing, and personable. She was great with Anakin and sent us updates, pictures throughout the day and had him play with her dog and asked if she could give him things before providing anything. Holly made us feel at ease and Anakin was very happy when we picked him up and even got a new toy which he has not let go. We highly recommend Holly for your pet care needs and will use her again if we’re in the area. Thank you Holly!”

“My pup is like my child and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate knowing that she is in excellent hands when she is with Jordyn. Jordyn’s home is a fun and safe home-away-from-home for my dog. Thank you Jordyn!!”

“My experience was great with Jennifer! She took great care of my dog”

“Michele was very attentive for the two doggy care sessions she provided pup Bella so I could sightsee while my dog was lovingly cared for and had companionship of the owner’s dog too for two days.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and have a deep passion for their well-being. I have extensive experience walking, fostering, and providing long-term care for dogs both at home and while away at school. I’m comfortable with dogs of many breeds, sizes, and ages. I pride myself on being highly dependable—always focused on making pets feel safe, happy, and cared for. I am a college student home for summer and work at a restaurant, so my weekends can be a bit busier, but I’m typically available throughout the weekdays and most of the day on weekends. My schedule varies week to week, but I’m extremely flexible and always do my best to accommodate the needs of both pets and their owners. At my home, I have a fenced-in yard. I can crate dogs if needed and follow any specific routines. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow all care instructions and keep pets comfortable, happy, and safe.

Looking at the pictures that she share I could definitely see that being outside on the balcony with Lauren was one of her favorite times of her stay....as she took in the sights and sounds of the neighborhood along with catching a few rays!”

“I left my pup with Ariel for the day while I was in town visiting Niagra Falls. She was great to work with me on the details, and my pup seemed well taken care of!”

About: I grew up in the country, always having two dogs and two cats. This fostered a true love for them inside of me! I have 10 years of experience caring for not just cats and dogs, but farm animals as well. My experience also bleeds into house sitting and taking care of these pets over night. I used to have a dog who was blind and diabetic, so I am aware of how taking his blood sugar works, and how to administer insulin shots. I also have experience with puppies, as my dog had 11 puppies years ago. I would love to be entrusted in walking/playing with/caring for your dog. Please consider allowing me to keep your pets happy and healthy in my care. My partner and I work together to care for animals we are entrusted with. He works from home and I work part time, so together we are able to provide lots of exercise, walks, and naps for your animals. We have a large yard with a long line to let your dog out on to enjoy the outdoors. Our friendly retriever mix will be a great companion and give your pup some socialization as well. We have toys for them to play with as well.
