About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

About: I will take care of your best friend like they are mine! I’m very familiar with training puppies and taking medical care of the old little guys too. Administering medications is a breeze and wound care is something I can do with my eyes closed. We have a huge park behind us. I love a good walk/run with a doggo too. I will get on the floor and roll around with them too! I currently work part time so my schedule is pretty available. My husband works from home and is 100% open. We are also a team when it comes to pet care. I ask you bring your doggos favorite toys so that while inside, we are still entertained. There is a huge park behind us that allows ample space for walks/jogs/runs. Dogs will stay leashed at all times for safety. When they come back inside, Bella the cat will bathe them. She’s a 16 year old little lady who loves all animals. If you are bringing your cat, Bella will show them the biscuit factory and give them showers as well. All animals are treated like a family member; with love and respect. All needs will be fulfilled

“Laura was amazing with my off the wall super energetic 3 month old springer spaniel puppy!! She is a super experienced trainer and was amazing at providing a balance between structure/close monitoring for safety and a lot of fun play time for my girl. She sent a lot of updates and advice that was very helpful for our training as well! Laura went above and beyond and even gave me tons of training tips outside of the visit because my pup is very difficult and has been struggling with separation anxiety. Best value out of a Rover stay I’ve ever gotten!”

She took it slow with Bella and soon Sierra had her eating (she has NEVER eaten a meal when we are not there with her), going for walks, and napping. For long term house sitting, I highly reccomend a trial run of 1 day of daycare or a drop in visit. I work from home full time so I am available during the workday when most people are away! “I received a constant stream of pictures of Sophie’s stay with Ruth and her wonderful family. I felt safe leaving my precious Service Dog in her hands for the the evening. Ruth’s caring and love for dogs is worth twice the price! I’m am totally bonded to Sophie, having been with her since she was 8 weeks old and trained with her from puppy school right through Service Dog work, every step of the way. We’ve never been apart more then 4 hours. Sophie loved here little mini-vacation at Ruth’s house. If the need arises again when I’m in town I definitely will contact Ruth to watch my girl for me!”
