About: I have been able to take care of animals (dogs and cats) since age 5 as I had pets throughout my whole life. I have also briefly owned horses building the skillset of hygiene care for larger animals. I absolutely love dogs. I have had experience with small dogs all the way up to English Mastiff and Ridgeback sizes. I have been a helpful pet sitter for many family members and some friends. I absolutely love animals and plan to incorporate them into my therapeutic process with clients in the future. Please send them my way and I will give them all the love and empathy while you're away and as needed! I am a graduate student with an internship which entails the need for a daily routine. I am more flexible for weekends and holidays, and I am also willing to make other days work given enough time notice in advance. I love to be outside year-round, especially fall and winter, so I will be active with animals in snow/cold or sunshine which means walks and playing! I have three cats who have everything they need including love and grooming! I have a three-legged cat who requires more care for hygiene and grooming, so he gets lion cuts every so often. All of my cats get treats and are spoiled with love. I am flexible and willing to work around whatever is needed for safety and the environment. I would prefer to do house visits and drop-ins to feed/let outside, etc. I would need to be provided equipment like leashes, crates, food bowls, food, etc. I do not want to disrupt your pet's routine or familiarity of their own materials.

About: I’ve always had a lot of dogs in my growing up, and have had to help take care of them. For the last 3 years I’ve dog sat for multiple different families. I am currently working full time day shift. I have plenty of time in the afternoon on weekdays to walk dogs and also have a lot of availability on the weekends. I am very comfortable caring for dogs in other peoples home. I have house sit and dog sit for multiple different people I’ve the last few years.

About: Besides caring for my childhood dog, Houston, since I was 11 years old, I formally became very involved in pet care during college. I joined an organization called 4 Paws for Ability that raises and trains service dogs for veterans and children with disabilities. I began as a sitter for the primary trainers on campus, watching their dog for a couple of hours during the day. Beginning my junior year, I began raising Red through 4 Paws, a 10 week old Golden-lab. I raised Red, while juggling class and work, until he was 1.5 years old and went off to advanced training. He now works as a facility dog at Dayton Children's Hospital. Since graduating, I remain involved with pet sitting for family and friends. I have sat my boss's daughter's cats (interesting, I know) and my aunt's puppy for a week. I love taking pictures of any and all animals, so expect photo updates often! I currently am a first year medical student here in Buffalo. Class is usually over by mid-day during most week days, making me very available for a walk or drop in visit. Furthermore, my weekends are pretty open for the time being, so I'd love to keep your pets company as a house sitter and have a relaxing (or active) weekend with them. I am very observant when it comes to things that are potentially harmful in reach of the pet. I will ensure your pet does not get into anything they shouldn't! Also, I have experience with ensuring dogs are safe in their kennel prior to leaving so your fur baby and home are safe.

About: I have take care of dogs and cats since I can remember. I’ve always had family pets that I looked after. Recently I started to pet sit professionally and have looked after pets with all manners of personalities and needs. I am currently working full time with a hybrid schedule. Monday through Wednesday in the office and Thursday through Friday remote. I am free every weekend and anytime after 5pm. Because each pet parent is unique and has their own ways to raise and care for their pets I strictly adhere to their rules and guidelines. That includes areas they have their pets walk and house rules for those that request house sitting.

I currently work full time at an animal hospital and own 3 dogs, 2 cats, a crab, and even a jumping spider, so pet care is truly second nature to me. When I’m entrusted in caring for your pet and your home, I will be there all night and in the morning before I head into work. I will check on them during my lunch hour so they can have a potty break, lunch (if needed), play time, cuddles, and plenty of attention, before I'm back with them right after my work day. I'm always incredibly respectful of my clients homes, ensuring things are just as neat and tidy (if not more so) than they were when I arrived. Mail will be brought in, trash taken out, and bed linens cleaned. You're on a vacation, why worry about cleaning up when you get home?! The animal hospital I work for has a boarding facility for dogs and cats. When I’m not caring for others pets at work, I’m tending to my menagerie at home! As the owner of pets who have trouble being removed from their “safe space,” you can rest easy knowing that your pets will receive plenty of love and care in the place they feel the most comfortable. During a meet and greet, I come prepared with an information sheet to fill out so that I can make sure I cater to each pets specific needs. Everything from feeding times, food sensitivities, and jotting down your pets favorite toys and activities!

I tend to stick to the instructions provided as to keep a normal routine for your pet. For a first time visit, I will get aquainted with your pet and offer a treat if allowed. I will send photos of your pet when I arrive and leave to offer some peace of mind. For walks, I will take your dog on a stroll around the neighborhood so they can let out some energy and use the restroom, followed by a treat after returning home. Drop-ins are similar where the pet will be taken outside for the restroom if needed and have some playtime to let out some energy. For pet sitting jobs, I tend to ask more questions about your pet to get a better understanding of their needs as well as anything else that will need taken care of such as collecting the mail, or watering plants. No matter the species, each visit will include playing, treats, and lots of pets! When entering or leaving your home, I ensure that the key is placed in the correct spot (to prevent lockouts!) after locking to keep your pet and home safe.
