Chilling with pets is my favorite self-care! I have been taking care of cats and dogs for over 20 years. My speciality is rescue animals and all of my cats over the years have been from shelters. I've taken care of all types of cats and dogs from pugs to German Shepards, from kittens to senior cats. I am very gentle, compassionate, and give great pet back scratches!

I follow your instructions like a recipe and am proactive about asking questions related to the care of your pet. In addition, my former roommate is a practicing veterinarian and is on-call for me 24/7. :)

I’m so happy that I found Karen! She did a wonderful job taking care of my two cats. She sent so many photos and really made me feel comfortable leaving them in her care.

Karen was so wonderful!!!!! Took excellent care of my three cats, dog, and axolotl for a whole week. She kept in touch with me about how they were doing, and even gave me some extra water/food containers for them! When my flight home got delayed, she was willing to stay and take care of the animals for me for an extra day, even though she didn't have to. 10/10 thank you so much, Karen <3
Karen was reliable, accommodating and great with communication while she watched my 2 dogs for a long weekend. I would definitely recommend Karen and would use her again!
Karen provided excellent care for our two dogs during a recent getaway. She put in extra effort to get to know my one dog who is not great with strangers and was able to care for him with no difficulties. She left the house in great condition and we felt confident that our pups were well cared for while we were away. Karen also provided pictures and updates to help reassure us while we were away. Thanks Karen for taking such great care of our pups!
Karen did a so so job neighbors said the dogs were left in the yard alone. Dexter only uses the basement to poop and pee if left alone to long and when I returned from my trip there was a poop and pee in the basement she also was more expensive than most sitters so I expected excellent care of my dogs. Did not get !

I currently work as a social worker and my schedule is very flexible. This means I am available outside a traditional Monday - Friday 9am-5pm schedule.
