“Jenn and Brian were outstanding hosts for Cooper. Not only were they flexible with our times and willing to work with us, but they clearly understand dogs, owning their own dogs and having fostered dogs in the past. Jenn kept me posted on his activities and energy level, and clearly she wore him out as he's been sleeping since the moment we put him in the car 4.5 hours ago. Playing in their backyard and with their pups certainly wore our energetic 2 year old out. We highly recommend Jenn and Brian for their care with your dog.”

“Jackie made it possible to leave on a 2 week vacation. All 3 of our dogs were well taken care of. Jackie did everything we asked. We will definitely ask Jackie to take care of our family again. Thank you”

“Monica is the best. The dogs love her and we will trust her with our puppers for any time we need a pet sitter. She was extremely communicative- texts, videos, pictures- and we couldn't have asked for better.”

“Jordy had a wonderful time at Mindy’s- he even became friends with her cat! He was happy to be home but I’m betting he would gladly go back. I’d happily ask Mindy to care for him again.”

“Jin was great. Zeke can be nervous when in a new situation and Jin handled him flawlessly. The updates each day were amazing and I am so thankful that Zeke had such a kind and considerate sitter. Thank you so much!!!”

“Kiara & Yves are genuinely such fantastic pet sitters, and kept my mind at ease during travel knowing that my cat was in such good hands! Not only were they very kind and pleasant to talk to, but Kiara was very knowledgeable about animals in general and shared some useful information. They were very diligent in making sure my kitty was being cared for properly, along with sending updates and pictures. From medication, to going out of their way to buy specific kibble that my cat was used to after not adjusting, you can be assured that your pet will be watched by responsible, enthusiastic, and caring folks.”

“Alena was VERY accommodating. We ran into a hiccup during boarding and she was so helpful in working out a solution. I loved the pictures and videos of Kirra!”

“Where do I even begin?!! Michelle has to be one of the best dog sitters we have ever encountered in our lives. She pays so much attention to our dogs and loves them as if they were her own. I never had to wonder what was going on while we were away, as Michelle does a fantastic job with updates and pictures galore throughout the day. We were able to enjoy ourselves the entire trip because we knew our dogs were in good hands. Michelle goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. I highly recommend her services. Thank you so much!”

“Megan kept me updated on how my dogs were doing and worked very well with my schedule! Was willing to be up early in the morning and dropped the dogs off at my place late with no problem. The dogs came back happy and exhausted showing they had a fun time. I'd definitely book with her again.”

“Denae and Mark were wonderful hosts for our dog, Cooper. Denae was a great communicator and provided us photos and messages to let us know how Cooper was doing during his brief weekend stay. We will be using them again!”

“Anthony and Nate did a wonderful job with our Holly. I got photo/text updates on how she was doing. We would definitely book again. If you are thinking about booking with Anthony, you definitely should.”

“Erika and Nick were wonderful while watching my pup! They were very communicative right from the beginning, even took time to meet up with me before drop off to a sure that our dogs got along. They were very communicative the entire time they were watching my pup and sent lots of great pictures so I can always know how things were going. Will definitely be using them again!”

“Charlette was great with my dog while I went away for two nights. I was hesitant to leave him with someone because he’s never stayed anywhere other than my house. Charlette assured me that everything would be okay and told my wife and I about other visits she’s had so I knew what to expect. I was given daily pictures and updates about how he was doing and I really comfortable with the amount of care he received. If I need to do a rover visit again I will definitely rebook with Charlette.”

“Nichole took such good care of our dog, Juniper! She was so well cared for and enjoyed playing with Nichole's dog. Nichole sent lots of pictures and updates and even went as far as to clean her ears when she saw they were irritated. We could not recommend her more!”

About: Hi, I'm Brittany! I'm a Christian, proud dog mom to Bailey, and an animal lover with a heart for serving others. While I'm new to professional pet sitting and dog walking, I believe what sets me apart is the love, patience, and attention I give every pet. I know our furry friends are family, and I treat them that way! You can count on regular updates, lots of affection, and dependable care every step of the way. My faith guides me to serve with kindness, honesty, and compassion, and I'd be honored to care for your four-legged family member as if they were my own. 🐾💕 I currently work full time from home which allows me to be available for care in my home. I am also free after work because i have a open schedule after work I care for every pet as if they were my own by following their normal routine, providing plenty of love, exercise, and attention, and ensuring they feel safe and comfortable. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“I booked Beverly because I thought she would take good care of my Lola while I was away. And she did. She messaged me almost every day I was away and sent pictures! Lola had a good time and got along well with Bev’s dog, Daisy. An added “perk” is the fenced in back yard where I knew Lola could do her “zoomies” safely. I didn’t worry about Lola getting good care while I was away. I highly recommend Beverly and would book with her again.”

“We had such a great experience with Crystal! She took amazing care of our dog and kept us updated throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dog was happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for when we picked her up. We could tell she received lots of love and attention. We would definitely recommend Crystal and will absolutely book with her again! 🐾❤️”

“Had a magnificent experience leaving my boys ( 7 months old) with Annalisa. First, I must say that I am new to Rover and was leaving my pups for the first time, so needless to say I was nervous. Annalisa sensed our nervousness and first graciously came over to my home to meet us and the boys in their own environment with her own dog. The boys felt really comfortable with Annalisa and her dog. We then went to her place and the boys were thrilled again to see her and her dog once again, and they felt really comfortable at her home. So we felt at ease with the decision to leave them there. While we were on our trip we communicated daily and got pictures of the boys. Annalisa was easy to reach. She was always reassured us the boys were well and happy. She herself always seemed at ease and comfortable and happy to be with the boys. I always worry about how the boys will be accepted as they are very energetic and rambunctious but Annalisa seemed to take it all in stride. She even explained that she had to give one of the boys a bath as he had soiled himself. When we came to pick them up it was clear they were happy there. We feel very good about the whole experience. She did a wonderful job of making us feel at ease about leaving the boys there with her. Its clear the boys were well attended to and were made to feel at home there with her. It was important for us that the boys were treated as well as we try to treat them ourselves. Annalisa met all our needs and we trust her completely with the boys. We recommend her highly.”

“Elisabeth took incredible care of my cat while I was away! I got plenty of photos and she was even kind enough to give in to his daily demands to be brushed. It was such a relief to know he was well taken care of while I was gone for two weeks. Elisabeth was able to step in and extend her visits when my return trip was delayed for a day. Highly recommended!”

“Ciara was great! Our cats have different diets and one of them gets meds. They are shy and don't come out but Ciara knew how to get the job done. We would definitely leave the kitties in her care again.”

About: I’ve always grown up with cats and learned to understand how every cat needs different levels of respect and care. I’ve cared for cats that don’t want any interaction to cats who are clingy and want to knead on your lap (I take in the pain for their comfort). I’ve also cared for an elder cat that was diabetic and had a very strict medicine and diet regimen.
“Jenna was great at taking care of my senior cat Luna. I received lots of pictures and was notified when she ate her food. I came home to a very happy cat after a vacation. I would recommend Jenna.”

About: Besides caring for my childhood dog, Houston, since I was 11 years old, I formally became very involved in pet care during college. I joined an organization called 4 Paws for Ability that raises and trains service dogs for veterans and children with disabilities. I began as a sitter for the primary trainers on campus, watching their dog for a couple of hours during the day. Beginning my junior year, I began raising Red through 4 Paws, a 10 week old Golden-lab. I raised Red, while juggling class and work, until he was 1.5 years old and went off to advanced training. He now works as a facility dog at Dayton Children's Hospital. Since graduating, I remain involved with pet sitting for family and friends. I have sat my boss's daughter's cats (interesting, I know) and my aunt's puppy for a week. I love taking pictures of any and all animals, so expect photo updates often! I currently am a first year medical student here in Buffalo. Class is usually over by mid-day during most week days, making me very available for a walk or drop in visit. Furthermore, my weekends are pretty open for the time being, so I'd love to keep your pets company as a house sitter and have a relaxing (or active) weekend with them. I am very observant when it comes to things that are potentially harmful in reach of the pet. I will ensure your pet does not get into anything they shouldn't! Also, I have experience with ensuring dogs are safe in their kennel prior to leaving so your fur baby and home are safe.
“Emma has been amazing!! Last minute our kitty got sick and needed a few meds each visit. Emma gave them to her no problem. As a nervous pet parent I was able to travel without any worries knowing Emma was watching our girls!! Will absolutely reach out in the future if I need a sitter again”

“Ciara was the best! She clearly loves animals and we're confident that our kitties enjoyed her company. She provided such thoughtful updates throughout the weekend. Our house looked great upon our return too!”

“Miranda did exactly what she was supposed to do! I’m so grateful that there are still trustworthy people out there to care for my fur babies. I have security cameras in my house and she did not know this prior to the visit, but she remained 100% professional throughout the visit! Thank You Miranda! Will definitely be using her in the future.”

About: I have taken care of two cats the past two years. I am a pet lover with a caring heart and am very glad to play, walk and care for pets as I am away from mine for school. I have a medical background and am currently a medical student.

“Heather gave great detailed updates each day she checked on my cat, letting me know how he was doing and what she left out for him while she was there. I felt assured she was the right person to check in on him.”

“Once again Hailey did an outstanding job caring for our diabetic cat. You can tell she truly cares about the animals she is caring for and takes excellent care of the home as well. Highly recommend her for your pet sitter needs!”

“Gretchen took amazing care of my cat, Dory, while I was away for 5 days! I got updates and photos after every visit, which gave me so much peace of mind. She went above and beyond with the litter box, fresh water, driving to me, and taking the trash out before I got home. Couldn’t have asked for better care. Highly recommend!”

“Rudy had a wonderful time with Jaddua. He reassured us with many updates, photos, and was a very caring dog sitter. He loved giving Rudy all the attention and love he needed. We will definitely book again in the upcoming future. Thank you!”

About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.
“Kiara and Yves did an amazing job watching Teddy. Once I dropped him off, he felt right at home. Kiara kept on contact with me throughout the booking to update me on Teddys status and sent several pics. Will definitely book with Kiara and Yves again if we’re in the area.”

“This is the first time I’ve left my pups with a private daycare and I was nervous about it. I shouldn’t have been! My dogs loved it and they now run up the stairs to Alexis when we arrive in the morning. Alexis is a great communicator and I appreciate the pictures she sends. We are now regulars and I highly recommend Alexis!”

“Laura was amazing with my off the wall super energetic 3 month old springer spaniel puppy!! She is a super experienced trainer and was amazing at providing a balance between structure/close monitoring for safety and a lot of fun play time for my girl. She sent a lot of updates and advice that was very helpful for our training as well! Laura went above and beyond and even gave me tons of training tips outside of the visit because my pup is very difficult and has been struggling with separation anxiety. Best value out of a Rover stay I’ve ever gotten!”

“The Best ! We left Fergie with Crystal 2 different days so we could go sight seeing and couldn't be happier with her level of care. The first day Fergie whined a little when we left; the 2nd day she didn't even notice that we left. She loved being with Crystal & we received lots of pictures of their walks & activites. Don't hesitate to allow Crystal to watch your pup. We'll contact her again the next time we're in the Buffalo area. Thanks Crystal !”

“We appreciate Mindy's flexibility with our dog sitting needs while visiting Buffalo. She was friendly and communicative, too. Our dog seemed happy and relaxed in Mindy's home. Will be using Mindy's services again.”

About: I love dogs and I've been caring for dogs for over 5 years. I love walking them and play with them. I believe dogs are human's best friends. They're the best listener when you need to talk to someone :). I would like to take care of your dog while you can't. I will make sure they're being taken good care of. I have a large fenced yard and close to a dog run. I like taking them there when the weather is nice. I will tailor your dog caring style and make sure your best friend feels like he's home. Thanks for your time, and remember to enjoy the rest of your day and you know you can have a peace of mind :)
About: One of my biggest passions is saving animals lives through fostering. My fostering experience has provided me many skills necessary to care for animals with varying needs, including young kittens, diabetic cats, XXS chihuahuas, and XXL breed dogs. Due to my experience in healthcare, I've provided many sub-cutaneous injections for diabetes maintenance and drug responsibilities. I've handled many small rodents including mice, and am comfortable with handling and providing care for smaller pets. I've managed care for animals with severe anxiety by providing them with daily psychiatric meds, and animals needing physical support with supplements, weight loss interventions (diet foods and safe, increased exercise), as well as animals with stranger fear. As a full time professional student, my mornings are often occupied by lectures, and Tuesday/Wednesday afternoons may be partially occupied for school responsibilities. I am very flexible, and can attend to pet care duties before, in between, and after my classes. I am open to over night stays and higher-maintenance care tasks, such as providing care for animals that require behavioral or psychiatric support during their family members absence. I enjoy playing with pets, within their boundaries of comfort. I have become apt at recognizing animals mood states, so I can properly respond to fear, excitement, anxiety, pulling on the leash, and over reactivity as necessary. I enjoy taking dogs on frequent walks if that is comfortable for them, and give occasional treats to reward 'good' behavior, such as sitting or laying down on command, and waiting to be fed. I am comfortable being cuddly with animals, and being very close and physical with them, if that fits in their boundaries. In my apartment I cannot host dogs, however, there are many parks and fields right in my backyard that I can bring your dogs to that they will enjoy.
About: Hi there! I'm Caitlin, and for the past 13 years, I have gained extensive education, training, and experience with all types of animals. I have been with Rover since 2014 and have had over 190 clients through the years. As a proud professional, the experience under my belt includes: - Solo management of a small, rural cat shelter - Behavioral and adoption staff at a large urban animal shelter - Dog and cat training - Fear free certification - Management staff for boarding and daycare - Professional bathing/grooming - Exotic animal handling - Bachelor's degree in Animal Behavior Besides my professional experience, I have been a pet owner my whole life - dogs, cats, and exotics included! Right now - I have four beloved cats who I have clicker trained myself! ** Currently, my preferred clients are cats, small dogs, seniors, and more relaxed pets. I am not suited to care for strong, energetic dogs who need extensive exercise. ** In-home boarding and dog daycare are services I vet very extensively and am particular about due to my cats. While I do offer the services, it is always better to choose a house sit/drop in visit with me instead - these I can be much more flexible about. Some other services I provide beyond the basics include: - Wedding pet care and assistance - Pet transportation - Travel pet care and assistance - and more! I am a *CONSTANT CARE SITTER!* That means, I am in your home for the vast majority of the day, due to my day job being completely remote and flexible. While some others may need to step out for a full work day, I commit my time to YOUR pet(s) and YOUR pet(s) only - which sets me apart from other sitters. You may see that my husband, Josh, is also on my profile. He will occasionally help me with some services, but I am the primary sitter. I will always let clients know if he is going to be present for any services. Safety for pets and myself is and always has been my top priority. I am proudly fear free certified and have worked on extensive safety training measures in all of my professional working environments. I know how to use all types of equipment (leashes, collars, harnesses, e-collars, etc) with ease.
About: Loving, cozy home close to the airport. I have taken care of dogs of all kinds from German shepherds to labs to cocker spaniels and pit bulls. My house is pretty close to the Buffalo airport. I have 2 cats that can easily be separated in my finished basement if your dog doesn’t like cats.
About: Hi! I’m Skyler. I’m 19 years old and home from college for the summer, looking to make some extra money before I study abroad in Portugal! 🇵🇹 I have two dogs of my own and have been walking neighbors’ dogs for years. I absolutely love animals and would be thrilled to help take care of yours! 🐾 I'm home for 2 more weeks (until Aug 28) and free whenever! “He’s a great person and a huge animal lover! Apollo loves him and loves playing with the other dogs. I highly recommend Jose for all your pet sitting needs, he’s the best!”

“I feel like Courtney isn't just the best dog sitter, she's one of the best humans. She was so welcoming and understanding of my not completely house trained pup, and she's almost like a trainer as well as sitter. She's worked on crate training and commands with my pup, even letting me borrow things to help at home. Five other sitters denied my request to watch a puppy, but Courtney is the ultimate dog lover, and honestly has more patience than anyone I've ever met. My only concern is that my pup loves being at her house maybe more than mine, since Courtney's dogs are her new best friends! I can't recommend her highly enough, except I'll be sad if she ever ends up booked when I need her. I couldn't imagine using anyone else.”

“We were just passing through on a road trip and landed tickets to see the Bills play so this was a last minute book. Sierra was wonderful with our Bella who has separation anxiety. She took it slow with Bella and soon Sierra had her eating (she has NEVER eaten a meal when we are not there with her), going for walks, and napping. I can tell Sierra was great with Bella because she was happy when we picked her up and went right to sleep when we got home.”

“This was a last minute booking and Holly was more than eager to watch our Anakin. Holly was a delight to meet, very friendly, outgoing, and personable. She was great with Anakin and sent us updates, pictures throughout the day and had him play with her dog and asked if she could give him things before providing anything. Holly made us feel at ease and Anakin was very happy when we picked him up and even got a new toy which he has not let go. We highly recommend Holly for your pet care needs and will use her again if we’re in the area. Thank you Holly!”

“Charlette accommodated our day care request last minute and took such great care of our dog! She was kind when we needed flexibility with drop off. She sent adorable pictures through the day, and our dog was so happy and tired on pick up. Highly recommend!”

“The proof of Jackie’s expertise is with the pups. They adored her. She is obviously a dog person. We’ll be booking her again as a sitter. I know that bean and sprout will have a wonderful time with her. Thanks Jackie!”

“Nafisa was wonderful all week long! She showed up on time or early every day. She was kind enough to give me a heads up before she arrived everyday to give me time to make it to the door and have my dog ready. They bonded immediately and my neighbors noticed how well she manages his large size and energy.”

About: I've been a cat dad of my own and looked after friends' and family's cats and dogs for 20+ years, including those in good health and those with special healthcare needs, like regular medications, etc. I love playing with them and just hanging out together...Basically just being pals! I'm not working full-time currently, I'm available every day of the week for pet care needs. Right now my main responsibilities are to the beck and call of my own 7-year-old Calico cat Partridge. I am very adept at dealing with feeding cats and dogs, dog walking, cleaning/clearing litter, and socializing with cats and dogs at their own comfort level. I have experience with special feeding routines such as pill and oral syringe feeding, and with application of topical medicines/ointments.

I’ve had rats, birds, ferrets, rabbits, cats, dogs and fish … just to name a few! **PLEASE READ** I do have 3 pet rabbits that a partially free roam. They are all in safe spaces & can be enclosured. About: I have experience with seizures and strokes in dogs, am able to administer any kind of medication, and have some experience with animals struggling with anxiety. I am a graduate student just looking for some fulfilling part time work. I am available at any point during the weekdays and after October 31st on the weekends I will not be able to host any animals, but I plan on prioritizing the pet’s comfort within their own home and making sure all needs are met

“I wasn't home for when she walked my dogs but from what I heard from my mom is that Callie was an amazing dog walker. She played with, attended to, and cared for my dogs for the time that she had with them, and she was also communicative. She gets a thumbs up from me, I would ask for her services again”

About: I really love all kinds of animals! Pets bring so much joy to us, so I understand how important it is to return the love back to them. I grew up helping out neighbors with all kinds of pets. I’ve done walking, cleaning up the yard, simply keeping the pet company, and even administer medications. I don’t have another job other than Rover, so I’m free almost all the time! In addition, I need to be more active, so caring/playing with pets is a healthy way to do it. I value the trust built not only with the pet owner, but the pet themselves. Pets rely on us humans to do everything in our will to keep them safe and happy. Routines, patterns, and proper structure is important for pets to have the sense of familiarity and safety.
“Brianna was absolutely wonderful. So kind and caring, she took such good care of my puppy like she was her own. Took her on walks, played with her, laid with her, fed her made sure she went to the bathroom before she left. Will be using her again!!!”

“Ian has been great so far! Flexible and consistent with the weekly walks. He and Amelia are clearly building a trusting relationship, and she’s really starting to warm up to him. I would definitely recommend him.”

“Alexis kept us updated with photo and messages. It was our dogs first time with “pet sitting” on Rover and Alexis was patient and attentive with our fur babies. We are so grateful she was able to help us with our last minute need for help before a trip. We definitely recommend her!”

“If you guys have a chance to leave your loved fur baby with anyone, I wouldn't recommend anyone better than Kim and her family! From loving photos of them playing, to a family full of love to give to your pet out lab Hank was in heaven. They were amazing on working with us as it was our wedding day and our drop off time was earlier than expected! Five stars doesn't say enough.”

“Morgan is awesome and almost always there when we need her. Clean home and friendly pets. My dog loves going over there, has never had an issue and is always happy when we see her.”

“Michaela did a wonderful job watching our two rescues for a day. This was their first stay with her and I would love to book a stay with her again in the future. She sent photos and put my mind at ease as I was worried about how my dogs would do, everything went perfectly! I couldnt be happier with today's visit. Thank you Michaela!”

“Leah was very attentive and shared frequent updates about how my dog was adjusting. I’d definitely recommend Leah and am looking forward to boarding my dog with her again.”
