“Jenn & Brian made it so easy to plan a daycare stay for my two dogs while I was planning a visit to Niagara Falls. During the day, they sent cute pictures of the dogs, including one with their son having three dogs sit at attention. I could tell when I picked them up they had a great day and made new friends.”

“Very nice people and effective communication for any issues or questions about my dog, Pluto Gave me updates during his stay with them! I also would like to thank them for working with me around my late arrival for pickup and thank them for taking him in, even if it was a last minute request.”

“Laura was amazing with my off the wall super energetic 3 month old springer spaniel puppy!! She is a super experienced trainer and was amazing at providing a balance between structure/close monitoring for safety and a lot of fun play time for my girl. She sent a lot of updates and advice that was very helpful for our training as well! Laura went above and beyond and even gave me tons of training tips outside of the visit because my pup is very difficult and has been struggling with separation anxiety. Best value out of a Rover stay I’ve ever gotten!”

“Mindy provided day care for my aunt's dog, Sassy, while we visited Niagara Falls from Arkansas. Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. She was also wonderful about sending pictures and videos especially that first day and that made us feel better about leaving her. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.
About: Loving, cozy home close to the airport. I have taken care of dogs of all kinds from German shepherds to labs to cocker spaniels and pit bulls. My house is pretty close to the Buffalo airport. Great walkable neighborhood. I work part time so I have lots of time to spoil your fur baby! I have a large backyard. I have 2 cats that can easily be separated in my finished basement if your dog doesn’t like cats.
“This is the first time I’ve left my pups with a private daycare and I was nervous about it. I shouldn’t have been! My dogs loved it and they now run up the stairs to Alexis when we arrive in the morning. Alexis is a great communicator and I appreciate the pictures she sends. We are now regulars and I highly recommend Alexis!”

“Akeira was such a responsible and kind dogsitter. She kept me updated regularly, which made a big difference. Her dog, Eleanor, is wonderfully gentle and got along so well with my pups. Akeira really put care and attention into making sure they were happy and healthy, including taking them on walks. The fact that my dogs were excited to see her every morning at drop-off says everything. I’d happily trust her with them again.”

About: I love being around doggies! Since I was 15 I have always had a dog to love and take care of. I'm proud to have raised a happy, friendly and lovable 4 year old husky. I have pet sat for friends before and as an actor, I am an expert at following instructions but also trusting my instincts to care for pets and all living things. I work from home/ from my laptop and have lots of time to spend with your pet all day. In the evenings I might have rehearsal and then my partner ( also a lover of pets) would be more than happy to take over! I have a fenced yard but I do not leave dogs outside unattended. I allow dogs to roam in the house during the day and sleep where they please in the house at night. Any necessary adjustments to that can be made. It is of the utmost importance for me to respect your property and to maintain a consistent schedule.
“Highly recommend! Sarah and her family took great care of my pup and treated him like part of the family. They have a lovely home and yard. She also wrote regular updates and sent lots of photos which I'm so greatful for.”

About: I pet sit not only because of my deep love for animals, but also to provide others with the trusted, reliable care their pets deserve. I understand how important it is to find the right fit for your fur family! I’m also currently saving toward our dream wedding, so every booking means a lot to us. I’ve grown up around both dogs and cats and have always enjoyed caring for them. I’m an experienced, dependable pet owner and sitter who treats every fur child like my own—with plenty of walks, attention, and affection. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and right at home while you’re away. Neighbors, friends, and family consistently book me for my reliability, trustworthiness, and flexible schedule as a sitter, dog walker, feeder, bather, and more. Your pet will feel instantly welcome and safe in our home away from home. Since I work remotely, I have the flexibility to provide plenty of care, playtime, and attention throughout the day. Our sweet dog, Dewey (a German Shorthaired Pointer), will also be here to keep us company along the way. I’ll follow your pet’s specific feeding, potty, and care schedule to ensure their needs are met. I’m happy to take your dog on walks or bring them to our nearby park for some fun outdoor time (weather and schedule permitting). I can also arrange pick-up within a 5-mile radius if needed. If your pet has any special routines or requests, please let me know—I’m always happy to accommodate their individual needs! I have a fenced-in yard and a friendly/playful GSP dog to keep us company. I can easily crate your dog with a portable crate if wanted. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs/pill medications that need to be administered at certain times. I want your pet to feel as comfortable during their stay here and will provide a calm and quiet environment. They will receive lots of attention and care here, as I treat everyone's pet like my own!

“I feel like Courtney isn't just the best dog sitter, she's one of the best humans. She was so welcoming and understanding of my not completely house trained pup, and she's almost like a trainer as well as sitter. She's worked on crate training and commands with my pup, even letting me borrow things to help at home. Five other sitters denied my request to watch a puppy, but Courtney is the ultimate dog lover, and honestly has more patience than anyone I've ever met. My only concern is that my pup loves being at her house maybe more than mine, since Courtney's dogs are her new best friends! I can't recommend her highly enough, except I'll be sad if she ever ends up booked when I need her. I couldn't imagine using anyone else.”

About: I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a canine concentration, where I trained dogs in obedience, agility, Therapy Dog skills, and Canine Good Citizen preparation. I also earned a Master’s degree in Animal Science with a focus on nutrition and welfare from Cornell University. Previously, I worked as a canine caretaker for the government. Currently, I am an Agriculture Specialist for the government, with the goal of being an agriculture handler, and I am an AKC-certified Canine Good Citizen evaluator. Throughout my career, I’ve worked and volunteered in a variety of animal care settings, including animal shelters, boarding facilities, dog walking services, barns, and emergency veterinary hospitals. These experiences have given me extensive hands-on experience with both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—including seniors, rescues, and those with medical or behavioral needs. My dog care background includes structured training, physical and mental enrichment, medication administration, and supporting behavior modification programs. I understand that every dog has their own personality, history, and sensitivities, and I approach each one with patience, empathy, and a commitment to positive, individualized care. I also have a strong foundation in cat care. I currently have a rescued cat of my own, and have fostered a 6-week-old kitten, providing around-the-clock attention and support during critical development. In my time working in emergency vet hospitals, I regularly handled cats for exams, administered medications, and assisted vet techs with bloodwork and procedures. I’ve also cared for cats in shelters and boarding facilities, gaining experience in feline behavior, enrichment, and stress-reduction techniques. I’m passionate about providing the highest quality care and comfort to every animal I work with. When I have extra time, I continue to train dogs on the side and am currently pursuing certifications and volunteer work in animal response and search & rescue, with the goal of helping animals affected by natural disasters. Whether your pet is energetic or easygoing, highly trained or just learning, I’m here to ensure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. While my work schedule rotates, I work either 4pm-12am or 8am-4pm, so I will need to work around those hours. I have reliable transportation and am flexible in meeting your pet’s unique needs. I provide a calm, structured environment with plenty of mental and physical stimulation tailored to your pet’s needs. My home includes an unfenced backyard, so I always supervise outdoor time closely. I have an extra crate available for dogs who are crate-trained or need a secure resting space. Your pet will get bathroom breaks and walks before and after my work shifts, and as often as needed on my days off. I’m also happy to go on hikes or explore new areas with your pup—if you’re comfortable with that level of adventure! While I prefer dogs and cats that are good with other cats, I can keep them separated if needed. To stay in my home, they need to be crate trained, potty trained, and not bark excessively/have separation anxiety, as I live in an apartment complex. With a background in animal science and dog training, I can offer helpful training tips or reinforce your current routine. I approach every animal with care, patience, and respect for their individual personality and boundaries. Whether your pet needs structure, exercise, or just a cozy place to feel safe, I’ll make sure they’re cared for like family.
“Charlette accommodated our day care request last minute and took such great care of our dog! She was kind when we needed flexibility with drop off. She sent adorable pictures through the day, and our dog was so happy and tired on pick up. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I'm Caitlin and I have worked with animals professionally for over 10 years in grooming, boarding, training and animal shelters. Now, I work remotely and spend my time with my 4 cats :) My specialty and preference is in cat care and senior dogs. However, I will consider all booking requests. I am currently not able to handle very energetic animals, or animals that are very strong. I am better suited to more relaxed pets. **Important** - I currently work a full time job from home and can be flexible with scheduling. I will work from your home if booked for house sitting, so it is required I have a reliable internet connection! - At this time I require m&gs for all house sitting services before bookings, to ensure our expectations meet and to make sure your pet is comfortable with me. For long term house sitting, I highly reccomend a trial run of 1 day of daycare or a drop in visit. I work from home full time so I am available during the workday when most people are away! I love being able to hangout with new friends during my work week. Safety is and always has been my top priority. I am proudly fear free certified and have worked on extensive safety training measures in all of my professional working environments.
“We now call Dena, Aunt Dena, because for the short 8 weeks we were in Buffalo for work she and her family became Goose’s family. I can not say enough kind things about her and her family, all around great people and caretakers. I am positive that Goose misses his friends in Buffalo, I know I do, and hope to one day be back to visit. I am so thankful for all the time, commitment, and love she put into Goose.”

“We were just passing through on a road trip and landed tickets to see the Bills play so this was a last minute book. Sierra was wonderful with our Bella who has separation anxiety. She took it slow with Bella and soon Sierra had her eating (she has NEVER eaten a meal when we are not there with her), going for walks, and napping. I can tell Sierra was great with Bella because she was happy when we picked her up and went right to sleep when we got home.”

“Julia was so sweet and helped Finney feel right at home. She was attentive to all his needs and even sent me pictures and updates throughout the day to let me know how he was doing. I’m so happy she could help me out!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Schiller Park
Amy took such good care of our little JoJo! She was flexible about our later pick up time and treated our little dog like a prince! He was so happy to be with Amy, it gave us so much comfort knowing that he was so well cared for while we were not with him. If we are up this way again, we will definitely book again with Amy! We highly recommend her!
