Caring Dog Dad with Real Experience

I’ve been caring for my own dog, Layla, since she was 3 months old and she’s now 9 years old. Being a dog dad has taught me patience, consistency, and how important routines, attention, and trust are for pets. I understand that every dog has their own personality and comfort level, and I care for each pet like they’re part of the family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, or keeping up with routines, my goal is always to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

Bryant was absolutely amazing with my puppy while I was out of town. He’s such a loving and attentive caregiver, making sure my puppy felt safe, happy, and well-cared for. It was clear he treated my fur baby like his own, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch over him. Knowing Bryant was there allowed me to enjoy my time away with complete peace of mind. Highly recommend him as a pet caregiver!

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because caring for our own dog has already been part of our lifestyle for years. I work outside the home but have flexibility to take breaks and come home throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins. I understand every pet has their own routine and energy level, and I do my best to keep them comfortable, active, and cared for while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

Creating a safe, comfortable, and trustworthy environment is very important to us. I've had my dog Layla since she was 3 months old and she’s now 9, so I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone who treats them like family. I follow each pet parent’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, routines, medications (if applicable), and preferred care styles. I offer boarding in our spacious two-bedroom apartment with access to nice grassy areas nearby for walks, potty breaks, and outdoor time. Small dogs are welcome on the furniture if that’s part of their normal routine and helps them feel more comfortable and at home. I also have our friendly dog Layla, who is already used to sharing her space and being around other pets, helping create a welcoming and pet-friendly environment. Our goal is to make every fur baby feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away.

A typical day

I’ll make sure the pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise. Depending on the pet, we can go for walks, play with their favorite toys, spend time outside, and have some fun interactive play. I’ll also make sure they get lots of positive attention and feel comfortable while their owner is away.

I’d like to know their feeding schedule, daily routine, personality, favorite activities, and anything they may be afraid of or uncomfortable with. It’s also important to know about any allergies, medications, special instructions, and how they normally behave around people or other animals. Having an emergency contact and veterinarian information would also be helpful.
