“Rosen was great and so was his sweet pup! Rosen responds quickly and is reliable. My dog and his played on and off all day and Rosen brought them out for a walk also. He was attentive and took good care of my pup. I think he loves dogs and my dog returned happy and tired!”

“I left my little dog with Christina for a few hours, and the experience was fantastic. Christina is very comfortable with dogs and engaged with mine immediately. She took excellent care of my dog, providing pictures and updates throughout the stay, and always responded promptly in our communications. I highly recommend Christina as a wonderful host.”

“Our dog Lyra had a lovely first day with Eric. Eric sent us frequent photo updates (one of Lyra snuggling on the couch, a great sign) and took her on some walks. Lyra came home calm and content. We'll definitely work with Eric again and would recommend him.”

“Saveliy was a great sitter for our dog Lucy while we were on vacation in Lake Placid!! He had a very nice setup in his home for her with multiple dog beds and even one setup by a front window for her to lookout. He was also very communicative and kept us updated throughout the day with pictures which I really appreciated. Especially because Lucy is very timid so I’m always a bit nervous leaving her in new places but he really put us (my husband and I) at ease. I would definitely recommend Saveliy if you need a sitter in the lake placid area!”

“Kate was wonderful with our dog Cricket. She took him on short notice, brought him on a hike and sent us cute pictures. Best of all is her majestic dog Cedar, who immediately made friends with our pup. Taking Cricket to Kate’s place felt like the best type of summer camp in gorgeous Vermont woods. We will absolutely be booking again soon. Cannot recommend Kate and Cedar enough!”

“Kona was very happy with Matt’s care.”

“Zachary took such great care of my 3 year old Jack Russell. He came outside with a treat to get on her good side right away, and sent me lots of pictures and videos throughout the day. My mom picked her up and said how happy Mila was with Zachary. 10/10! I will definitely be booking with Zachary again in the future.”

About: December 26, 2024 update: I’ve recently updated my rates slightly, for my base services, in order to help offset the cost of fuel and maintenance on my vehicle. In addition to my previously established services, I’ve decided to offer daycare and boarding inside my home. If you do not feel comfortable with a stranger in your house, or having your fur babies kept in a kennel all day, I think this could be a nice option for you. We’ll see how it goes… I do not have a fenced yard, but I will provide daily excursions to the park in order for everyone to have extended playtime, potty breaks, exercise, and socialization outside of my home. While at my house, all potty breaks will be ON LEASH ONLY…. inside my yard, or around my neighborhood. —————————————————— I often think that dogs are what keep peace in the world. They have a very calming affect on those around them… And can also react to the anxiety they feel from others. Those reasons, I love being around my dog Panda, and her furry friends. I treat my dog as if she were my child… I don’t let Panda ride in the car unsecured, and I don’t let her walk on hot asphalt, or frozen grounds without providing protection for her paws. I’ll treat your fur babies with the same compassion and love that I do my own. I love to play bouncy ball, and “hide n seek” with my furry, fluffy friends. While sitting for canine, feline, or poultry family members, I will also take care of your entire home. I’ll care for your plants, retrieve your mail, and bring your packages inside where they’ll be safe. I’ll also leave your home just as clean as the day I arrive. I just moved into a house and am planning on offering in-my-home care in the near future. Thank you in advance for considering as a trusted caregiver for your precious family members. Sincerely, Lorrie. Starting in December 2024, I will be offering my services 7 days a week, including “boarding” in my home. Currently, I’m a full time pet care & dog park visitor with your pups, as well as a pet/house sitter in your pet’s home. I’ll take your pups outside for playtime every 3-4 hours, as well as walks around the neighborhood or trips to the dog park. I’ll provide regular grooming by brushing them on a daily basis. While caring for your cat, I’ll spend plenty of time scratching them behind the ears, and providing playtime with their toys.

“Such a wonderful caregiving family experience! Luna was so very well cared for and adored the attention from both the humans along with their fellow K-9 friends. Truly grateful!”

“Karen is a great. Paper has a good time with her.”

About: Ive taken care of dogs (both my own and others') since I was a kid. I'm confident in my ability to speak their language, and enjoy the conversation! I can generally come by or host most weekdays (during the workday). I am generally working with a lunchtime walk midday, but am pretty flexible! If hosting: Unfortunately we don't have a yard, but there is a park across the street for throwing a ball around and an optionally off leash forest nearby too! Plus a comfy cozy apartment to lounge in the rest of the time. Note: We do have a black lab named Azula, so will need a meet and greet to make sure they get along before hosting for the first time.

“Tiffany is great. She took good care of our dog and sent us photo updates during the day. Our dog gots fun and enjoyed being with her/ her daughter.”

“Bernie had a great day with Bre! He was well taken care of and we were updated multiple times throughout the day on all the fun he had. He came home very sleepy from a busy day!”

“Maddy was incredibly easy to communicate with when booking my dog and very accommodating of the fact he is still being trained/working on some issues from the rescue and therefore cannot be left unsupervised. She kept me updated on how he was doing and he seems to have had a good time. I absolutely would recommend booking with Maddy and will do so again next time I need someone to watch Tucker.”

About: I’ve cared for animals all my life. I’ve had my own pets over my life and enjoy helping others to get away without worrying about their fur baby. My kids enjoy animals, this is our way of getting to enjoy animals without the commitment, and instead get to help. I’m a single mom with two kids and work from home. My two teens and I love animals but cannot to commit to owning any. We enjoy helping others care for their pets so they can enjoy time away. I’m offering boarding one family at a time. At times I can housesit. I offer both. I’m willing to come by your home and hang out. Feed pets. Let them out, bring them back in. And short dog walks. I’m hoping to also offer boarding at my home. I would follow your directions of care. Feeding routines, etc. I will not feed human food to animals, their food that’s provided only. I don’t have a kennel so if I board your animals they need to be family friendly. No puppies- sorry too much work and I won’t deal with an animal that destroys things.

“Carolyn was easy to communicate with and went out of her way to pick up and drop off my pups. I was visiting the area for the weekend and needed someone to care for my two goldendoodles for the day. Carolyn sent me pics partway through the day so I could see what they were up to and when she brought them back they were happy and healthy.”

“I could tell our Stella enjoyed her day here! Julie was very accommodating and also careful/cautious about keeping our dog safe! Stella was allowed a good amount of time both indoors and outdoors. I would definitely book with Julie again the next time we are in the area.”

About: I’m a fur mama of one 85lb , 3 year old mush who is hyper, energetic , and very needy. I love taking him on walks, to the beach, and anywhere he can go to get his energy out. My fiancé and I are planning our dream wedding and I would love to offer pet care in your house ( or mine if your dog or dog friendly) . I would love to give someone the opportunity to go on vacation without the Warriors of their pet being lonely or not getting the attention they deserve. I’m well experienced in dogs of all breeds and sizes and emotional/ physical needs. I am a teacher Monday- Friday but have weekends and summers off. I can be there before and after school, as well. Weekends I am free. I want to offer your pet lots of love, care and engagement while you are traveling. I try to keep them on their normally scheduled routine and work with the pet parent to make sure they are comfortable or have any special requests.

8. Lorrie L.
“Lorrie is the best pet parent I've ever met. She is so kind and patient with her own dog, takes her for lots of walks, plays with her a lot, makes sure she is properly dressed for the weather, feeds her only fresh dog food, and even buckles her in with a seatbelt on car rides. She puppysat for me while she was between dogs (her last dog died of cancer), and my dog is kind of a mean dog. But by the time I came home she had him eating out of her hands.”
