“I would highly recommend Dawn to take care of your fur baby; she cared for my rambunctious Goldendoodle as if he were her own. She is conveniently located in a quaint neighborhood that has limited traffic and no unleashed dogs; so, in addition to getting exercise in Dawn’s fenced in backyard, my puppy got exercise when Dawn walked around the neighborhood. After playing with toys supplied by Dawn, my dog cozied up to her dog for a nap. I was so hesitant to leave my precious baby with a complete stranger (he’s my first ever dog and I love him so much), but after meeting Dawn, I felt completely at ease entrusting her to take the greatest care of him. About: We are a family of animal lovers here! My husband and I served animals in shelters and hospitals for 15+ years! And want to continue.. I'm currently job searching, working part time and home a lot of the time, and happy to have some pet therapy while I look and help! I have a fenced small yard and a 2.5 year old who goes to daycare. Pets will be on the first floor mostly and get walks and cuddles and everything else in between.

About: I grew up with pets in my house & grew up learning how to care for all pets. Making pets feel comfortable in a foreign area is something I pride myself on. I am a student at UVM & work part-time at the hospital. So I have plenty of time to hang out with your pups & take care of them when their parents are gone !! My apartment is VERY pet proof, and I live on a street that is great for short & long walks. There is also an unfenced area outside of my apartment for easy-access potty breaks.

About: New to Burlington area and Rover! Moved from Jersey. I had a dog for 10 years, we rescued him from a farm when he was four (a handsome GSP) so I have been around dogs my whole life. We potty trained, crate trained, and yard trained him. After he passed away at the age of 14, I started dog sitting and house sitting a yellow lab named Maisey who loves to hike, has a bit of a sass to her, and won’t pass up an opportunity to jump up on the couch with you. I then moved to Burlington Vermont and am looking to provide the same love and care for dogs up here! I work from home, so it is very easy for me to be around the majority of the time. The longest I would plan on being away from the home is an hour. I go on daily walks and runs, plus always get outside during the day which is perfect for potty breaks. I live in Burlington so I am steps away from the waterfront and dog parks if approved by the owner. I currently do not have pets in the home. For walking, I go on at least a 20-30 minute walk every morning and do the same at night or a run down by the water. For boarding, I will be home the entire day to care for your pet since I work from home. For house sitting, since I work from home I could work from your house and be there for your dog the entire time requested.

About: Hello! I'm a genuine animal lover of all kinds. Grew up wanting to be a veterinarian, somehow stumbled into tech. Currently on sabbatical and missing animals in my life. I have experience with powerful breeds. Formerly a pitbull mommy of 11+ years. Type A, active, rule follower, experienced with positive reinforcement training for dogs. Love cats, cared for them growing up, although I can't say I've had any success there with "training"... :) I'm currently on a sabbatical so my weekly schedule is flexible. Typically bring our 13-year-old Aus Shepherd mix for a long walk in the mornings along the bike path, and again around sunset. Could happily incorporate more exercise for a higher energy pup, or less for those more inclined on couch time. We live in a small water-front home with our senior pup, Peaty. Peaty has free (supervised) reign of the property - we live at the end of the road without traffic, and he enjoys sitting outside watching the world go by... and then sleeping off the afternoon on the couch inside by the wood-burning stove. He's happy to show another pup his lifestyle, and we're also happy to follow stricter rules as needed. With dogs, my philosophy is a well-behaved dog is a well-exercised one. Daily walks are a must!

About: My husband and I have had dogs together for over 15 years. I loves dogs of all sizes. I like to get in a long walk everyday with Roscoe and Rey, either a leashed walk or getting out on the mountain trails. Playing fetch in the yard is usually a daily activity. I currently work full time at Green Goddess Natural Market from 7-3, 4 days a week. My work is about 5 minutes away from my house so I able to be home quickly if needed. I have the ability to come home to check on my dogs at any point during my work day. I have a fenced in back yard for pups to play or lounge around in safely. In the summer we have a dog pool set up to make sure the dogs can cool down and play around.
