About: We recently lost our beloved golden retriever to cancer, and our house feels far too empty without him. While we're not quite ready for another dog of our own, I'd love to share some of that love and affection with yours! We live on a beautiful property with lots of land, trails, and a pond. Some of my favorite parts of having a dog were long walks in the woods, swims in the pond, and taking breaks from my computer for a game of frisbee. I work remotely and am home throughout the day, so your dog would have plenty of companionship, exercise, and attention. I know firsthand how hard it can be to find someone you trust with your pet, and I'd care for yours like a member of our family. We have two children under five who absolutely adore dogs. They're at daycare during the day, but we'd want to make sure your dog is comfortable around young children. Our golden slept in our bedroom every night, but I'm happy to accommodate your dog's usual routines and sleeping preferences. I'm also comfortable administering medications and caring for dogs with additional needs. Most of all, I'd love to give your dog a happy, loving place to stay with plenty of fresh air, activity, and affection! I currently work from home so have plenty of time for pet care.
