About: I have had dogs my whole life, and understand the need to make sure your pup is safe while you are gone. I have been dog sitting and house sitting for a few years now and would love to help out others. I am new to the area and only here for the summer! So I have a lot of free time and would love to be able to take a furry friend hiking and out for adventures as often as possible! Im totally ok to do drop ins or stay at a home, whatever works best for you. I am a pretty active person and love to take them on runs or out on walks whenever possible.
About: I’ve helped take care of my family’s Australian Labradoodle, Penny, ever since we got her, 5 years ago. In these past couple years I’ve facilitated dozens of “doggy play dates” (communal dog walking and play time at dog parks and backyards) with dogs of all different sizes. I am very comfortable and confident with all types of dogs, and often dog sit and dog walk for friends and neighbors when they are out of town. I currently live in Burlington and am free on weekends and after 5pm MWF and after 6pm Tuesday and Thursday. About: I grew up on a small hobby farm with goats, chickens, horses, dogs and cats. When I was younger I helped train 2 Border Collie/Australian Sheppard mix puppies. I have a good sense of what animals need and am very patient and loving with all animals. I have a infant daughter who will be accompanying me with most my drop in visits. She will be in a backpack while I take care of your furry friend. I am available most mornings, nights and weekends. I love being outside and love being around animals. I have been responsible for feeding, training, and giving my dogs exercise for as long as I can remember. Also, I worked at the Oakland Zoo for a while and am studying Organismal Biology and Ecology to become a veterinarian. Every morning, I take my dogs on a hike and then will take them to a park or walk them again in the afternoon. I try my best to give them two forms of exercise a day.
