About: Hi! I’m Nicole, and this is my partner Alex. We both work fully remote! We spent the last few years traveling abroad. We’ve landed in Lake Tahoe for the foreseeable future! We provide a safe, active, and loving environment for your pets while you’re away. Since we are both fully remote, your fur baby gets consistent attention, not just quick check-ins. Our days naturally include multiple walks (morning, mid-day, and evening), outdoor time, and plenty of downtime for cuddles and relaxation. We live an active lifestyle and love having a furry friends alongside us for walks, fresh air, and exploring, but we’re just as intentional about creating a calm, secure space at home so your pet feels comfortable and settled. We’ve cared for pets for over 10 years, including friends, family, Rover clients and other pet sitting platforms, in both our home and theirs. We’re very attentive and always know where your pet is, so you never have to worry about safety or supervision. If your pup has mobility issues, they’ll need to be okay with being carried up and down

About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and have always been surrounded by and dog-sat family members' pets for as long as I can remember. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, and will treat and love your dog like my own. I understand the anxiety of leaving your fur baby behind when you have to go, and I know what it takes to find someone worthy of caring for one of the most precious parts of your life. My own dog has behavioral challenges, so I understand what it's like to care for dogs with different temperaments. Whether your pup is reactive toward other dogs, pulls on the leash, gets nervous around strangers, or just has their own quirks, I won't be fazed - I'll meet them where they are and work patiently at their pace! My schedule is very flexible right now since I just finished my PhD research and I’m currently figuring out my next steps. Morning, afternoon, and evening drop-ins are no problem at all, and weekends are just as open. I can also accommodate same-day and short-notice requests. I will be respectful of your home and leave it just the way I found it. And I'll keep you in the loop with photos and updates so you can relax knowing they're in good hands!

About: I have owned a dog years ago. Miss having them around. I am only a dog aunt now. I am very active and love walks, runs, playing on the beach. I currently am not working and have more availability until August 19th. Starting then, I will be unavailable 7:30-3 Monday-Friday. I enjoy taking dogs for a walk in the morning and evening time. I live a pretty active lifestyle. I don’t mind taking your dog for a hike. I provide a safe, comfortable environment for pets, including a dedicated guest room where they can sleep. Air conditioning is available during warmer weather to ensure your pet's comfort. I also offer in home pet care and can travel to your residence if preferred. Pets in my care receive plenty of attention and exercise, including two daily walks, one in the morning and one in the evening. While I do not have a fenced yard, I am located less than 10 minutes from Kiva Beach and am happy to take dogs there for additional outdoor time and enrichment

About: I am a veterinary nurse with 4 years of experience and worked in vet med for 10+ years. I am skilled in giving medications, CPR, animal behavior and basic animal care. I am currently working full time so drops ins/walks would be the best for my schedule. I will never rush a drop in and provide excellent care. I treat every pet like my own. I am very serious about quality animal care and it is important to me that you feel safe leaving your most precious part of your family in my hands.

About: My family has always had 1-2 dogs, and I have been watching other people's dogs for 6 years. My family once had 4 cats and farm animals, so l am also experienced with other animals. I love going on hikes and walks. My clients are always happy with my caretaking, often asking me to watch their animals again. I am able to watch your pet (s) at animals again. I am able to watch your pet (s) at you house, as long as it is clean, but l am also able to watch your pets) at my house, as long as they get along with my families' dog. :) I have watched many types and breeds of dogs (doodle mix, Chihuahua mix, Australian cattle dog, etc) I am currently unemployed, so I have lots of time to give your dogs attention, hikes, or whatever they need. I will only not be available June 8-19, and after mid August my availability will change. I have a fenced yard, and one friendly, smallish dog. I live on a ranch, so beyond the dance there is plenty of space for the dog to run around if they are okay off leash. I also have one cat, so it is preferable that your pet is cat friendly, but if not I may be also to make it work.

About: Hello! My name is Alora, and I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve spent the past year working as a vet tech at a local veterinary hospital, so I’m very comfortable around dogs and cats. If your animal is every hurt or sick, I am qualified to take care, and watch over them. I’m used exercising, cleaning up after, and giving medications to animals. I’m also a dog mom to a black and white Mutt named Ray. As far as exercising your pet, it can range from short or long walks, trail walks, runs, or playing with toys, depending on what they need/like. House sitting will consist of me keeping your pet company, feeding, and all the exercise they need. If needed I can spend the night, or if you prefer I can come back in the morning. I am currently a bartender so I can be available to take your animals out during the day while you work! I love to get outside and hike, bike, and go to the beach, so if you have an adventurous dog I can cater to its needs. About: As a lover of animals, I find working with dogs to have purpose and meaning. I love witnessing the spirit and personalities of each individual dog and getting to know them and their needs. I have cared for English Springer Spaniels, German Shepherds, Huskies, Vizslas, Basset Hounds, and Mixed Breeds. Presently, I live in a quiet neighborhood adjacent to a variety of trails and a dog park. Typically I like to take dogs for long walks (2-6 miles), however I also take into consideration their personal abilities (age, size, health, energy levels etc). I do have my own border collie mix named Stevie Nicks! She is 7 years old and my running buddy! I do have a full time job but also have flexibility with my schedule. I am very easily able to meet the requests of pet owners. I care for pets in their home as I would in my own home. For house sitting, I do aim to leave your home in better condition than when I arrived. I frequently launder linens, wash dishes, sweep, vacuum and mop before leaving a care site.
