About: Dogs are family, and for me, they are treated as such. No matter physical conditions, trauma, or behavior needs, they deserve to be treated with care and respect. With dogs I've owned, I've worked with epilepsy, cancer, extreme fear and PTSD, bully breeds, various medication requirements, and more. I also teach Veterinary Science to high school students and have a plethora or knowledge on animals science and behavior. I'm happy to assist you and your fluffy family with your needs. Dogs only unfortunately! Severely allergic to cats. I'm currently working full time as a agrigulture science high school teacher, so my hours are cemented on weekdays. Nearly all weekends and school breaks I have free. I have lived with dogs my entire live. As an adult, I've had dogs with severe behavior needs and others with heavy medical needs. I am well versed in physical and mental needs of dogs.

About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and have always been surrounded by and dog-sat family members' pets for as long as I can remember. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, and will treat and love your dog like my own. I understand the anxiety of leaving your fur baby behind when you have to go, and I know what it takes to find someone worthy of caring for one of the most precious parts of your life. My own dog has behavioral challenges, so I understand what it's like to care for dogs with different temperaments. Whether your pup is reactive toward other dogs, pulls on the leash, gets nervous around strangers, or just has their own quirks, I won't be fazed - I'll meet them where they are and work patiently at their pace! My schedule is very flexible right now since I just finished my PhD research and I’m currently figuring out my next steps. Morning, afternoon, and evening drop-ins are no problem at all, and weekends are just as open. I can also accommodate same-day and short-notice requests. About: I’ve always had pets and been around animals since I was young. Since moving to Tahoe I watch animals on a weekly basis, and enjoy every minute! I work remotely and I am able to watch dogs throughout the day. The remote job also allows be to travel and be more attentive to the pets. I am very big on attention and activity. I enjoy walking dogs and playing with them. Or if they prefer to rest and relax, making sure they are comfortable. Either way, understanding the needs of the dog and tailoring the care to them.

About: Hello! I’m a local dental hygienist that will treat your pet as if it’s my own. I am a healthy balance of being active and outdoorsy as well as a homebody, so I am able to adjust my daily routine to meet your pet’s needs/wants! I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! I work Monday and Tuesday from 7:30 to 5 and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 3. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, day care and overnight stays any times that do not fall within those timeframes. About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.

About: Hey there! I have lived my entire 30 years with dogs. From growing up with two golden retrievers to getting my own dog louie at 17- and seeing him through his senior years all the way up until his passing this past February. We still have his sweet loving sister Nala who is 5, a tender gentle girl who lives for fetch! She may be timid at first meet but is just a submissive gentle girl who eventually opens up for fun loving play if the other dog will have her :) I have dog and cat sat for family and friends since I can remember. I absolutely love animals and take care of them with immense responsibility and care as I know from my own experience they are often some of the most important beings in our life. My husband Louie (my dog Louie came first they just happened to have the same name! lol) is also an animal lover and instantly adopted my babies upon meeting and has always treated them with tender and diligent care. We currently live in a home with an enclosed deck space, however whenever we aren't home we keep the windows and doors completely shut and locked.
