About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.

About: I've always had a deep connection with dogs and animals growing up in Northern California farmland. I live close to the Casino corridor, with a fenced yard, in a cozy and conveniently located cabin. Over the past several years I shared my place and adventured with my furry companions Cushion and Maddy, a German Shepherd Lab mix and a mini Australian Shepherd. My friends have recognized my care for dogs and have asked and accepted to watch their furry friends when they leave town. I am looking to take this to a new level, professionally through Rover. I am currently working from home and have a open schedule to attend to your furry friends needs. A walk around the block or to the beach is always a option. I have a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood with a open back door, where the fur baby can come in and out as he or she pleases.

“Tim T. is amazing! He got us out of a real bind. We were away from home for a wedding. We found out the day before the wedding that we could not leave our dogs in our hotel room. By some miracle, Tim happened to be available with less than a day notice. He picked up our dogs at the hotel. Usually one of our dogs takes a while to warm up to new people. We were nervous but Tim is some sort of dog whisperer! In no time at all, the dogs were in his car and off for a day of fun. They spent the day taking a drive, then a hike, and then relaxing in the lap of luxury at Tim's house. We got photos throughout the day and it was obvious that Tim was the dogs' new favorite person. We were able to enjoy the wedding stress free. Tim returned the dogs to us late at night. It couldn't have been easier. Our only regret is that we live too far away to make Tim our regular sitter. If he's available, don't hesitate! We'd give Tim more stars if we could!”

I am experienced with senior dogs and am very patient with our older friends who need a little more patience and tlc. But I also love a rambunctious youngster and would love to take your little one on fun hikes, walks or just a leisurely stroll around your neighborhood. I am available for walk visits, feeding visits or any visit your pet may need, even if it's just some love and a belly rub. I will also take small dogs into my home for overnight stays provided they are crate trained. I am available seven days a week. My husband is home most of those times and can look after your little one while I am gone in case any issues were to arise during my absence. There are no other pets in my home and if I am watching your pet, he/she will be the only animal in my home during that time. If a pet is staying overnight, they will need to be crated. My cat had kittens when I was in 2nd grade and since then I have loved all aspects of pet care and find it extremely rewarding. I am comfortable with dog walking, and any activity with pets of all ages. As an owner of pets myself, I know what makes a happy pet and am available for walks or sitting! I currently do feeding visits and walks for my friend’s pets while they’re away and am looking to expand to do it more often. I am new to the area and have yet to find a full time job so my schedule is very flexible for pet care at any time! I currently have two 4 year old cats in my home but have a good amount of space to be able to keep pets seperated if needed. I live in a friendly neighborhood with a small back patio and enjoy walks through town or on my walking trail behind my house! I have a lot of experience walking my own dogs throughout my life and feel comfortable with any level of care they may need.
About: What I would say sets me apart from other walkers/sitters, is my care and attention to each dog’s unique needs. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and adjust my care style accordingly. I have always had a passion for animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I just recently moved up to South Lake for college and am living in the dorms, so I’m trying to save up some extra money doing what I love! On walks, I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and happy. I always stay alert to surroundings, and avoid busy or unsafe areas. I always make sure to bring water on longer walks, watch for signs of tiredness or overheating, and give them time to sniff and explore. I also reinforce good leash behavior with gentle guidance and positive encouragement. Each walk is a mix of exercise, care, and fun.

About: I grew up in a rural area of Southern California and had animals my entire life. From rabbits to chickens, cats, dogs and livestock we had them all. I rescued my dog Molly about 12 years ago and she's my partner in crime. I am a personal trainer and highly active, outdoorsy person. Molly is a boston terrier mix and requires at least an hour of exercise each day. You'll see me walking, running or biking Molly along our local trails everyday and your dog can join us! If your dog requires substantial exercise we're the sitters for you. Because I work only several hours at a time as a personal trainer, I am in and out of the house often during the weekdays, so if you're looking for an alternate to doggie daycare while you're at work we could be a great fit. I have a flexible work schedule with large blocks of time free in the middle of the day, which is a perfect time to give your pup a walk break! I have a fully fenced in yard and my dog wanders in and outdoors throughout the day. I visit your home to take your pup out for exercise wherever she feels most comfortable.
About: Hi there! My name is Haley! I am a wife and mother and have been a long time animal lover since I was a little girl. I have always had the biggest passion for animals, before I even understood what that meant! I have pet-sat previously and I haven't met a dog that I haven't had an incredible connection with! I am currently a stay at home mom with my 2 year old son, who also LOVES dogs! We spend so much of our time outside, going on walks and getting energy out at the park - I would love to be your Pet Sitter and help out any way that I can! Our schedule is pretty consistent! About: I've had dogs my whole life, and I'm experienced with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. We currently have one mellow rescue pitty, a chihuahua and two cats in our home. I strongly believe in the pack leader philosophy on dog behavior, and that lack of exercise is the number one cause of unwanted behavior. Your dog will get plenty of love and exercise here! I am happy to help with basic obedience (loose leash walking, thresholds, recall, sit, stay and place) I’m an RN but I only take new dogs when I’m not working at the hospital so I can be with them all day long. Safety is our number one priority. We always introduce dogs on neutral territory with a structured walk, and supervise all play time. We have a fenced backyard and can separate with crates/kennels if needed.
