About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.

“Tim T. is amazing! He got us out of a real bind. We were away from home for a wedding. We found out the day before the wedding that we could not leave our dogs in our hotel room. By some miracle, Tim happened to be available with less than a day notice. He picked up our dogs at the hotel. Usually one of our dogs takes a while to warm up to new people. We were nervous but Tim is some sort of dog whisperer! In no time at all, the dogs were in his car and off for a day of fun. They spent the day taking a drive, then a hike, and then relaxing in the lap of luxury at Tim's house. We got photos throughout the day and it was obvious that Tim was the dogs' new favorite person. We were able to enjoy the wedding stress free. Tim returned the dogs to us late at night. It couldn't have been easier. Our only regret is that we live too far away to make Tim our regular sitter. If he's available, don't hesitate! We'd give Tim more stars if we could!”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life- from cats and dogs, to hedgehogs and birds. My cat had kittens when I was in 2nd grade and since then I have loved all aspects of pet care and find it extremely rewarding. I am comfortable with dog walking, and any activity with pets of all ages. As an owner of pets myself, I know what makes a happy pet and am available for walks or sitting! I currently do feeding visits and walks for my friend’s pets while they’re away and am looking to expand to do it more often. About: I’ve had dogs of my own since I was less than 10 years old, and have had my current dog Sandy for about 6 years. I have a lot of experience with dogs of all kinds- puppies to seniors, healthy to serious health concerns, I’ve done it all! I am a work from home teacher, so even during the weekday I am home for the majority of the day. My dog Sandy and I usually spend the day playing in the backyard, relaxing on the couch, or playing with her toys. My work schedule is not demanding, and I have summers off, so I have all the time to spend with your pups. I live in a 2 story duplex with just myself, my 10 year old friendly dog Sandy, and my fiance Austin (who also loves dogs!). The backyard is fenced and is shared by the other family in the duplex. Sandy usually roams free in the home, but we can crate in the home if necessary.

About: Hi! I am a full time Gardnerville resident and would love to meet your furry friend. I am experienced with senior dogs and am very patient with our older friends who need a little more patience and tlc. But I also love a rambunctious youngster and would love to take your little one on fun hikes, walks or just a leisurely stroll around your neighborhood. I am available for walk visits, feeding visits or any visit your pet may need, even if it's just some love and a belly rub. I will also take small dogs into my home for overnight stays provided they are crate trained. I am available seven days a week. I work 3 mornings out of the home, but am only gone for approximately 2 hours. My husband is home most of those times and can look after your little one while I am gone in case any issues were to arise during my absence. I have a large fenced yard with plenty of room for your bestie to run around and enjoy the outdoors. There are no other pets in my home and if I am watching your pet, he/she will be the only animal in my home during that time. If a pet is staying overnight, they will need to be crated. I do not allow pets to sleep in my bed, but they can sleep in the bedroom with me and my husband if that makes them more comfortable.

About: I've had dogs my whole life, and I'm experienced with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. We currently have one mellow rescue pitty, a chihuahua and two cats in our home. I strongly believe in the pack leader philosophy on dog behavior, and that lack of exercise is the number one cause of unwanted behavior. Your dog will get plenty of love and exercise here! I am happy to help with basic obedience (loose leash walking, thresholds, recall, sit, stay and place) I’m an RN but I only take new dogs when I’m not working at the hospital so I can be with them all day long. Safety is our number one priority. We always introduce dogs on neutral territory with a structured walk, and supervise all play time. We have a fenced backyard and can separate with crates/kennels if needed.
About: I’ve had pets my whole life- from cats and dogs, to hedgehogs and birds. My cat had kittens when I was in 2nd grade and since then I have loved all aspects of pet care and find it extremely rewarding. I am comfortable with dog walking, and any activity with pets of all ages. As an owner of pets myself, I know what makes a happy pet and am available for walks or sitting! I currently do feeding visits and walks for my friend’s pets while they’re away and am looking to expand to do it more often. I just recently moved up to South Lake for college and am living in the dorms, so I’m trying to save up some extra money doing what I love! On walks, I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and happy. I always stay alert to surroundings, and avoid busy or unsafe areas. I always make sure to bring water on longer walks, watch for signs of tiredness or overheating, and give them time to sniff and explore. I also reinforce good leash behavior with gentle guidance and positive encouragement. Each walk is a mix of exercise, care, and fun.
About: I have consistently been taking care of dogs for almost five years after first adopting my two dogs when they were 10 weeks old. I was also blessed to help deliver and care for a litter of pups when my dog gave birth until they left for their forever homes. Before adopting my dogs, I was dog-sitting for family and friends, whether staying at their homes or having them stay with me. I am a stay-at-home and homeschooling mom, trying to help bring a little extra income. I help out at our homeschool program from 8:30-4 during the week but am available all other hours of the week. If I'm caring for your pet at my home, I have about a half acre that is fenced in, I can also crate if it is preferred or I am able to care for the furry friend at its home.

About: As lifelong dog owners ourselves, we understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. Bre has experience volunteering at the humane society, and we've spent the last few years pet sitting, caring for dogs with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether they need long walks, playtime, or just some cuddles on the couch, our goal is to stick to your dog's normal routine and treat them like one of our own. Dan and I both work in the restaurant industry, which gives us a flexible schedule. We work 3–4 days a week and often work opposite shifts, so one of us is usually home or available throughout the day. If we do work the same day, our shifts are in the evening, so we still have the entire morning and afternoon to spend with your pet. We make it a priority to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and love so your pet feels comfortable with us. We want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and at home while in our care. We have a fenced-in backyard and live just minutes from the marsh and beach, which gives us plenty of opportunities for walks, outdoor adventures, and playtime. Our own dog loves exploring the area and swimming, but we always prioritize each dog's individual comfort. If your dog prefers to be the only pet or does not do well with other dogs, we are happy to provide care in your home instead. We understand that every owner has their own routines and expectations, and we will always respect your instructions and your pet’s needs. At our home, dogs are welcome on the couch, surrounded by toys, attention, and lots of love.
