About: I have owned dogs for the last 10 years, fostered several and helped find happy homes for them. What I am able to give dogs is love, attention, and just being present with them. Even after the dogs got adopted, I remain in contact with them, and we set up play dates! Helped with potty training, and trick training is my favorite. Love to go on hikes, play frisbee and chuck-it! Summertime running through sprinklers, and wintertime running in the snow. I also love Cats! I grew up with cats and just adore them. I work Monday - Friday, 1 1/2 hr lunch break, Weekends off, which leaves me all weekend to sit, play or board your furry friends. We hike every weekend so other dogs will fit right in. I do set up play dates with friends and their pups as well. I have a nice yard for playing, I can bring your dogs to my house or sit for them at your home. If they board with me, I can crate your pup or not. Plenty of toys, balls, and frisbees. Dog door to backyard if you wish it to be used or can be closed for safety. Gated neighborhood for walking! I would like to have a free "meet and greet" to get to know you and your pets.

About: My dog‘s name was Kahlúa. She is 15 year old.I know the first hand experience when it comes to pets, especially senior dogs. My dog went blind with hip mobility and a mild dementia. I made sure to guide her every morning outside for walks and potty. Make sure she was taking her medication and giving her the love that she needed. I would show the same love and kindness and respect to your pets like I did to mine.🫶🏻 I am pretty flexible when it comes to my scheduling. I do live with 2 dogs 3 cats. the home owner is a doctor. Works 10-12Hr shifts 3-4Days a week. I make sure that all the animals are fed. The dogs are taken out to walks while the homeowner is gone. The house live in. The homeowner is a Doctor & Works 10-12Hr shifts 3-4Days a week. but there are times where the Doctor leaves to Convention/Work and I’m left at the house for a week making sure the property and the animals are all taken care of.

About: As an Adventure Specialist, I offer your pet much more than standard neighborhood walks; I provide enrichment hikes and structured play designed to satisfy both their mind and body. I am highly proficient in reading dog body language to ensure safety in new environments and adapt the pacing and duration of our adventures to suit your pet's specific needs. For shy or anxious friends, I bring a reliable calm energy that fosters a quick, loving, and trusting bond. You can always depend on my professional commitment, which includes strict punctuality and adherence to all routines, expert handling of customized care (such as medication or specific diets), and preparedness with basic pet first aid. Most importantly, I guarantee your peace of mind through prompt, detailed communication, including photo and text updates of all our happy adventures! Pet care isn't just a part of my schedule; it is my schedule. As a full-time sitter, my days are structured around the needs of my animals under my care. This means there are no conflicting work meetings or commutes, allowing me to fully commit to your pet's schedule. I dedicate morning, midday, and evening blocks specifically to walks, feedings, and play sessions, with plenty of time in between for communication and customized care. When choosing House Sitting, your pet receives my full commitment to deliver Epic Adventures and Warm Hugs right in their familiar environment, which I think is the best choice for anxious or multi-pet homes. As your pet sitter, I like to get a detailed overview of your pets' exact routine (meals, beds, schedule) so I can minimize stress and ensure maximum comfort. Our days are filled with Heartfelt Hikes on familiar trails, keeping our adventures safe and enriching, and all potty breaks are timely and consistent. Beyond premium pet care, you gain added home security and peace of mind, as I handle basic home needs like mail and plant care with the same professional attention.

About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and have always been surrounded by and dog-sat family members' pets for as long as I can remember. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, and will treat and love your dog like my own. I understand the anxiety of leaving your fur baby behind when you have to go, and I know what it takes to find someone worthy of caring for one of the most precious parts of your life. My own dog has behavioral challenges, so I understand what it's like to care for dogs with different temperaments. Whether your pup is reactive toward other dogs, pulls on the leash, gets nervous around strangers, or just has their own quirks, I won't be fazed - I'll meet them where they are and work patiently at their pace! My schedule is very flexible right now since I just finished my PhD research and I’m currently figuring out my next steps. Morning, afternoon, and evening drop-ins are no problem at all, and weekends are just as open. I can also accommodate same-day and short-notice requests. I will be respectful of your home and leave it just the way I found it. And I'll keep you in the loop with photos and updates so you can relax knowing they're in good hands!

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs my entire life, which means caring for four-legged family members is second nature to me. As my family and friend’s resident dog sitter, I have hands on experience with pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities from high energy giants to tiny couch potatoes. I am passionate about keeping dogs active and healthy, so you can count on me to provide plenty of outdoor time and engaging walks. I look forward to meeting your furry friend and providing them with a safe, fun, and loving environment while you're away! As a full-time remote worker, my schedule is highly flexible! Pet care fits seamlessly into my day, allowing me to offer reliable windows for walks and drop-ins. My 'portable' office also makes me a great fit for house sitting, as I can work right from your home and keep your pet company. Weekends are equally open and flexible for whatever your pet needs! I believe the best environment for a pet is one that closely mirrors their usual routine. Whether I am house sitting or dropping in, I strictly follow your specific guidelines for feeding and house rules. During house sittings and drop-ins, I respect your home as if it were my own—keeping things clean, secure, and locked up. When we are out on walks, your dog will always be kept on a secure, standard leash, and I maintain a strict 'no greeting' policy with unfamiliar dogs to prevent any unpredictable interactions. I am deeply observant of body language to ensure your pet is happy, comfortable, and never stressed. I also believe that communication builds trust, so you can always expect timely photo updates and detailed Rover cards after every visit!

If you are looking for a caring person to look after your beloved pets, look no further! My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Cleo. We were an ongoing client of hers for 9 or 10 months, Mon-Fri. She was flexible, responsible, and treated our dogs like they were her own. Our 2 pups absolutely adore her! Only reason we stopped the routine services with her is due to life changes on our behalf, but she will definitely be our #1 go-to if we ever go out of town!

About: Hi, I'm Shaylin. I'm a recent grad in the USC area with a flexible schedule and genuine love for dogs — I've pet sat through Rover before and I'm back on the platform for dog walking through mid-May. I'll show up on time, send you photos and updates, and treat your dog like I'd want mine treated — patient on leash, attentive, and happy to match their pace whether that's a sniff-walk or a real workout. I'm traveling internationally starting May 18, so I'm best for clients who need walks in the next few weeks or who are open to a great walker for a defined window. If that works for you, I'd love to meet your pup. I am available to house sit and am happy to stay in your home at night if that makes your animal the most comfortable. I can drop in or go out for a walk throughout the day -- very flexible schedule. I would love to meet you and your animal before the stay if I am house sitting, or dropping in. I am happy to meet your pet the day of for walks. I understand that every animal and home is unique - I would love to be acquainted with your preferences.

  • 99% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
