About: ** I am no longer caring in my home as I am only available seasonally** I do work 9-5 locally (usually 4 days a week) but will dedicate my overnights to you. I have been a star sitter and promise you the utmost respect and trust worthiness in your home. I previously cared for your pets in my home, but now with a seasonal career with the National Parks, I have shifted to In YOUR home care while I am home between seasons. I am a responsible adult who values not only your pets, but your home. I have cared for animals in a rehab/foster/owner setting for the last 30 years. There isn’t much I haven’t seen as far as behaviors & personality quirks . We treat all visitors with the same love our own pets receive! I am familiar with administering meds and injections. I have extensive knowledge of illness and wound care for animals. I am willing to help with all species except rabbits (highly allergic) and anything with more than 4 legs. At the end of the day when the whole group piles on the couch & tails are wagging- that’s the sign of a good day in my world. I can’t think of a better way to end my day! I do work at the Zoo in Madison 9-5. I would be able to be at your home from 530p to 830a on work days. I am able to provide some errands and light housekeeping if needed. My friends dogs can’t wait to jump out of the vehicle when approaching my home and often resist the offer to “go for a ride”, when it’s time to go back home. “Danielle did an excellent job from start to finish. Because I found out late that our private sitter had to cancel, getting a replacement on such short notice was kind of stressful. Danielle had openings on the needed dates, and she quickly replied to my request. We set up a meet and greet, she came to our house, and the stress was gone. She immediately engaged with both dogs. They clearly liked her. My husband and I went up north, so cell service can be on and off. Danielle sent regular updates which I would see as soon as we were in range. About: I am an animal lover. Always have been. I grew up on a farm and have worked on a couple as well. I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, goats, cattle, pigs, sheep, even ferrets, raccoons and squirrels. Have always had multiple pets while growing up and currently have my 3 dogs and 2 cats. We got home, and the house was in pristine condition, and Winnie seemed pretty happy!
