“Danielle did an excellent job from start to finish. Because I found out late that our private sitter had to cancel, getting a replacement on such short notice was kind of stressful. Danielle had openings on the needed dates, and she quickly replied to my request. We set up a meet and greet, she came to our house, and the stress was gone. She immediately engaged with both dogs. They clearly liked her. My husband and I went up north, so cell service can be on and off. Danielle sent regular updates which I would see as soon as we were in range. I greatly appreciate that she left the house as neat as it was when we left; actually even neater. I would highly recommend Danielle. Thank you, Danielle for taking such good care of both dogs.”

“Abigail took great care of our senior boy who requires extra attention - meds, mobility issues. Her communication was great, she sent photos of our boy and we returned to a happy dog. Highly recommend!”

“Emma was absolutely fantastic with our large dogs! They are a bit high maintenance in their own ways but they were taken care of perfectly! Will absolutely be booking again in the future!”

“Phillip did a phenomenal job caring for our older dog and cat while we were gone for five days. He followed all our extensive instructions and went above and beyond to clean up accidents, our pup always has them when we leave- he brought his own little green machine over (he asked first!) and carpet cleaned each spot! We got great photos and were kept in the loop each day, we felt confident they were having a great time with Phillip. We will absolutely be booking again!”
“Zackary was so awesome! We was super communicative and seemed to spend a lot of time at home with our two kitties boys. He asked questions when needed, checked in often and sent cute pictures! Our kitties were definitely happy when we got home and he was respectful of our space. Thank you so much Zack, the boys will be happy to see you in the future 😊”

“Karina took excellent care of our cat, dog, and home! Our dog is fairly nervous, and our cat required medication but Karina handled it all with patience and care and kept us updated with photos and texts throughout the weekend. We’ll definitely be reaching out next time we need someone to look after them!”

“Hayley did a great job with our girls. I can always tell when they are well cared for because when we come home they barely notice we are gone. And they let us know if they are not! :) Hayley kept me well informed and sent pictures. Definitely recommend!”

About: I have had cats for more than half of my life and dog-sat for around the same amount of time. I used to dog sit two huskies all the time, had a dog of my own for a short time, and have experience dog sitting for labs as well! I have even taken care of a bearded dragon and snake on multiple occasions. Rover does not list animals other than cats and dogs directly but I am happy to arrange care for another animal as well, including exotic animals, for a fee that can be discussed. I am volunteering at the humane society and am very involved in caring for animals as much as I have time for. I am excited and ready to care for any and all pets that need it and will stick to specific details given. I won't hesitate to ask questions about the care of your pets when I have them to make sure your pet gets the utmost care and love while you're away or busy, and id yoy have plants that need watering, say the word and I'll do that too! I am currently full time in senior year of high-school and volunteering for two hours a week on the weekends, but I graduate in a month and will have all the time in the world to pet sit! I follow every instruction for food, water, walk, and treats and ask questions if I am unsure of something. I tend to stay longer than needed for check in visits just to give pets some company if I have the time. Unless pets are not very social, they will get all kinds of attention, and if they have any anxiety or behavioral differences I will be very careful and act however is best for them. I am very sure to be on time for visits and will be very specific to follow instructions for walking or being taken outside.
“What a great experience!! Manu is great, Paco was so well cared for in his own home. Manu took the time to meet him and then to tend to his needs while caring for him. She always kept in touch and took beautiful pictures. I am happy I found Manu. Will certainly go back to her. I highly recommend her. Thanks Manu!!!!”

About: Hi! I’m a college student at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point and a huge animal lover. I currently work in a doggy daycare and pet boarding facility, so caring for animals is something I do every day—not just as a hobby, but as a job I genuinely love.I have hands-on experience working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments through my job in doggy daycare and boarding. This means I’m comfortable with: Handling multiple dogs at once Reading dog behavior and body language Managing high-energy and shy/anxious dogs Feeding routines and administering basic care I also come from a family farm, so I’ve been around animals my whole life and am used to responsibility, early mornings, and consistent care. I currently work part time as a CNA in Stevens Point. I’m looking for the opportunity to spend more time with animals whenever I can, as they are such a big part of my life. Personally, sitting in the clients home would work best for me, as I am a college student living with a few other roommates, which can be difficult for having pets here :)
About: I have a rescue dog so I have a lot of patients! I’ve always loved animals and I’m working towards volunteering for a foster company! I am working part time so I have a lot of time on my hands to help take care of others pets! I will be able to spend a lot of quality time with your pup! I have a crate if needed for your dog. I do have a fenced in backyard that has multiple toys for dogs. If I come to your house I will follow any rule you have for animals and people in your home.
About: Lifelong pet owner and experienced sitter! Having managed a multi-pet household (3 dogs, 2 cats), I’m an expert at maintaining routines, administering care, and ensuring every pet feels safe and loved while you’re away. All of my pets were specific in their needs and that individualized care is the best route. Pet sitting turned into a side hustle during college, and I loved it so much that I continued to balance it in my schedule after I graduated. As a teacher, I bring patience and organization to every visit, ensuring your furry family members get the care they deserve. I’m comfortable with everything from high-energy puppy play to the specific boundaries of a senior cat. Before the school year comes to a close on June 5th, I will only be able to care for a pet before 7:30am and after 4pm. Once I finish up with teaching classes, I will have a very flexible schedule to help out whenever needed! I treat your home with the utmost respect and your pets with the deepest affection. My goal is to maintain their familiar routines in their own sanctuary, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and completely at ease until you return.
“Lensy was amazing with my two pups, including meds, walks, and lots of love and attention, which is what they need. She’s great with communication and updates, and took excellent care of my two doggos!”

About: What sets me apart is my extensive hands-on experience and dedication to understanding every dog’s individual needs. I’ve been active in dog agility for over seven years, which has strengthened my training skills and ability to communicate clearly with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. With two years of experience working in a veterinary clinic, I’m confident handling dogs with various behavioral and medical needs — including those who are nervous or anxious. I provide calm, structured, and compassionate care, ensuring each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I'm currently a college student, and do a mix of online and in person classes, with no more than one per day, meaning I have a lot of time to care for your pets! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine and environment as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow all care instructions carefully — including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications, and favorite activities — to make sure your pet feels safe and secure while you’re away. I take time to build trust, especially with shy or anxious pets, and ensure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I also keep your home tidy and provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is to give you peace of mind and your pet the same love and structure they enjoy when you’re home.
“Amanda was a godsend when our house sitter cancelled last minute. We met her first then her with her dog, Sedona, and I knew right away this would work out really well. You see my dog, Millie, doesn’t warm up to people easily and doesn’t always play nice with other dogs but Millie instantly liked both of them. Amanda stayed at our house along with Sedona, so Millie was spoiled having her two new friends stay with her. They went on many walks and Amanda sent me lots of pictures while we were gone. I will definitely use Amanda again!”
