“I don’t know how to adequately express how grateful we are that we hired Stella. If you want the short version without the saga: Stella is THEE best dog sitter EVER. I will hire her again and again!! Smudge loved her immediately at our meet and greet, and we felt completely comfortable leaving him with her. Then, just before our trip, Smudge had X-rays on his leg and became very sick afterward. We were worried sick. I had Stella come over a second time so I could walk her through the probiotics and instructions from our vet, hoping he would be back to himself in a few days. We had to leave the next day. What happened after we left was something none of us could have imagined, and I cannot imagine what we would have done if Stella hadn’t been the person caring for him. She tried everything to get Smudge to eat and kept us regularly updated on how he was doing. When she became concerned that he wasn’t improving, she proactively told us she thought he needed to go to the emergency vet. She packed his bed into her car so he’d be comfortable and took him. When the first treatment of fluids and anti-nausea medication didn’t work, she took him back to the ER, where he ultimately had to be hospitalized. Stella took a day off work to care for him. When Smudge came home, she dealt with vomit and accidents, did laundry, cleaned up after him and continued caring for him through all of it. She never once complained or made us feel like any of this was an inconvenience. And after Smudge finally started getting better, Stella herself got sick. She cared for our boy as though he were her own dog. She advocated for him when he needed more care, and I truly believe she saved his life. You would be crazy not to hire this amazing human to care for your pets. Stella is 100% part of our family now. If she ever needs anything from us, I hope she knows she can ask. We will never forget what she did for Smudge, and we will be forever grateful to her.”

About: Arianna and I are a young, professional couple and have a huge love for animals, especially dogs! We have 4 of dogs of our own and share custody of them with a family friend. Our dogs would NOT be with us during the sit. We are transitioning to a new home and thought this would be a great way to save money for moving but also to help someone in need as well. As fur Moms, we love all animals and would treat yours with the same attention and care as we do with our own. That same respect would, of course, extend to respecting your home as we would our own home. Arianna also was once a veterinary technician and has great insight on how to take care of animals beyond what the average person may or may not be aware of. She’s also had cats of her own is familiar with how to tend to them as well. So, both of those facts are great added bonuses. Working remotely helps out a lot in this area. With my being home all day for work and Arianna currently looking for office work in the Behavioral Health field, that still allows her to assist me whenever necessary. Together, we’ve made it work! We make sure to have meet and greets with all clients (virtual and/or in person) to ensure all safety measures, dietary and medical questions are asked by both us and the pet parents before accepting a sit.
