“We used Maria to take care of our dog Chloe while we were on vacation in the Asheville, NC area from Sunday, April 4 through Friday, April 9, 2021. We were totally impressed with Maria's promptness, her love for animals, her attention to detail, and her professional way she approached every aspect of our dog's care! She came to our RV campsite in the afternoon after her work once a day for four of those days and walked Chloe for about twenty minutes. She then fed her and sat with her for a while before sending us a picture before she left. We were extremely pleased and grateful to have Maria care for our pet in this way. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child. I grew up with dogs and have had my own dogs as well! I currently have a senior dog and an adult dog. I have experience giving medicine and injections. I also have worked with many dog trainers, which has given me great insight on how to work with all dogs of different behaviors and personalities! I work full time from home with a flexibly job, so I am able to easily get take pets out for potty breaks and walks. If the dog I am sitting is at my house and gets along well with other dogs, we will do group walks with my dogs! If not, we will do solo walks. We also have a fully fenced in back yard. I have a fully fenced backyard and baby gates to separate the upstairs and downstairs of my home. My two dogs are used to having other dogs around, but can easily be separated to different parts of the home if needed. I can also easily work with a crate if you are crate training your dog / they are already crate trained.

About: I’ve cared for dogs all my life. I have 3 labs of my own. My heart is with animals and I love them all! I am grateful to spend time with your babies & love them like my own. They are such gifts to us. I work park time and make my schedule up myself so I am free for dog walks most week days with some availability on weekends. I have a fenced in yard & 3 labs of my own. I will play with your dog to get energy out, walk, play fetch, whatever you ask! And of course plenty of belly rubs (if they are open to them of course)

About: I have been working with animals for the past five years, I have taken care of dogs, cats, and lizards. I have worked with disabled animals too Due to how my week operates, I am completely flexible. I can drop in weekdays and weekends, you and your pets are my number one priority. About: Previously a wildlife rehabilitator, farm hand and now Adoption Counselor, at the Asheville Humane Society, I’m looking to save up money to pay off student debt and fund my love for animals. With 2 cats at home and a pet bird I love taking care of animals. I work a full time job at the Asheville Humane Society from 9:30-6:30pm, Tuesday through Saturday so my availability is limited to check ins and dog walks right before or after work. On Sunday and Monday though I’m available all day for multiple visits if needed. I cannot care for pets at my own home but am available for in home care including feeding, walks playtime baths, training as requested by the pet parent and extensive care by request from pet parents for dogs or cats who need medication via pills, nebulizer, eye drops etc and any physical therapy requirements. I am also more than willing to clip nails, clean ears, teeth, and give baths.

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals, and that’s what inspired me to join Rover. I’m dedicated to creating a warm and gentle space for every pet—whether it’s a playful dog, a curious cat, or even a senior companion who needs a little extra care. I have trained puppies, won over cautious cats, and know that our pets are family. While i cannot have a dog of my own currently (maybe partly why i am here ) i will treat hours like my own family. I currently work a remote position and am able to pet set any time as long as you have internet and don’t mind me working from your place. I can easily (and happily) take time to walk, play, give attention to your pets during the work day. I’m available for dog walking or pop in visits weeknights after 6 and anytime on weekends. I am not able to sit at my own apartment, but my cat, Dexter, doesn’t mind sharing me for a few nights as long as i can get away to play with him for a few hours. In your home, you can expect a quiet, clean, and respectful sitter who is delighted to be enjoying time with your pet. I communicate well, and will be easy to reach any time you want to check in.

About: I'm a dog loving Army Veteran! My wife and I are a team and she works from home so your pup will never be alone throughout the week. I have always had a dog by my side. My dog, Emi, will follow me everywhere I go. I have taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes with no problems! We keep a clean house and will typically wash your pup if they get dirty from our adventures while under our care. I treat my own dog as a family member and would treat yours the same. My wife works from home and normally takes the pups out on a lunch break walk in the Conserving Carolina Nature Preserve behind our neighborhood - miles of trails and two river entrances for your dog to enjoy! We take Emi on a daily walk to the nature preserve at the back of our neighborhood, plus she gets to enjoy our fenced backyard and dog hammock for sun bathing.
