“Natalie is great! She was very attentive during our consultation for an upcoming house sitting for my kitten and pup but I needed her for a last minute drop in lunch visit. She was thankfully available and very communicative. Her notes on the visit were super detailed and included lots of photos of both animals. She was able to feed my kitten his lunch and take Snax for a walk. I feel very comfortable with the upcoming weekend - both of my pets will be in good hands!”

About: I’m new to Rover, but I grew up with a family dog and chickens and I’ve always loved animals. I can’t wait to get my own pets one day, but for now I love spending time with my friends’ pets and would love to walk, play with, or watch yours! I work from home several days a week, so I am able to walk or check in on dogs during the morning, afternoon, or evening those days and on weekend. I have experience with dogs of all ages (from energetic puppies up to distinguished elderly dogs) and provide a calm presence at all times. I look forward to caring for your pets in their own home, at my house, or out on walks.

“Michelle took excellent care of our cats. This included getting the older cat to come for her ear medicine and administering the medicine. We would definitely book her again. Meow!”

“Shera was wonderful with our two cats. At the meet and greet, she asked so many questions and took notes, paying attention to every detail. When she visited them, she immediately sent us a detailed description of their behavior and lots of photos and videos. They seemed so relaxed with her, even our boy who can be nervous around strangers. She seems to really "get" cats and we feel so comfortable with her watching them!”

About: Hi there, thanks for stopping by! I’ve been around dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities—from playful puppies to sweet seniors, and even those with special needs or health concerns. I pride myself on being patient, kind, and understanding with every furry friend I meet. Caring for animals has always been second nature to me, and I’d love the opportunity to give the same love and attention to your pet. Whether you’re looking for short or long walks, regular check-ins, or pet sitting, I’m here to help. I also have a one-year-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who’s incredibly friendly and loves other dogs—so if your pup could use some socialization, that’s an option too! Your dog’s happiness, safety, and well-being are always my top priority, and I can’t wait to meet your four-legged family member. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of freedom and flexibility in my schedule. Mondays, I’m available all day, and while the rest of my work hours vary week to week, I always have my schedule three weeks in advance—so it’s easy to plan and align with your needs. I’m an early riser who enjoys starting the day with walks or runs, but I’m just as comfortable with late-night strolls if that’s what works best for you and your pup. I’m based in downtown Sacramento, but I’m happy to travel a bit outside the area when needed. I know the local trails and parks well, so if your dog loves extra exercise and outdoor adventures, I’ve got plenty of great spots to take them.

About: With years of personal experience as a dachshund owner and plenty of cat-sitting under my belt, I provide attentive, loving care for your furry family members. I’ve looked after pets for friends, from shy cats like Moo to playful pups like Lucy, and I always treat them as if they were my own. Whether it’s cuddle time, playtime, or keeping to their routine, your pets will be in safe, caring hands. I have open availability and can work with your schedule to provide daily walks, drop-in visits, or in-home sitting. Whether you need consistent care during the week or occasional help for travel, I’m happy to create a routine that keeps your pets happy, healthy, and comfortable. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow your instructions to the letter— from feeding schedules to medication needs—and ensure they are well cared for and secure. In your home, I respect your space and leave it just as you left it, if not better.

Haley M.
“Haley M is extraordinary with dogs. She watched over our little 7 month old Cavapoo, Bindi, on several occasions. The very first occasion was just a couple of hours. However, amazingly, within that time, she managed to train her to sit, lie down, and shake hands. And, during subsequent visits, she has reinforced this training and our pup just loves her. We never hesitate to have Haley take care of our pup. We have also witness her with other pups and dogs. They all gravitate positively to this young lady. We highly recommend Haley for any dog sitting or walking activities. She has a natural way with dogs. You will not regret using Haley’s services. AAW”

Whitney F.
“I flew out of the country for about 3 weeks in 2021 to visit family, leaving our beloved old lady Lea (18-year old chiweenie) under Whitney's care. Whitney was a GODSEND. She took Lea out for timely walks, became very acquainted with all of her needs as a then-15-year old dog, fed her as scheduled, and fed her her supplements, too! A day or so before I flew out, Lea had had a run-in with a baby opossum, and we believe that fleas latched onto her because of this - we hadn't been able to restock her flea medications since we were still coming out of lockdown. Whitney determined this while we were away, and she worked her hardest to rid Lea's bedding of fleas while we were away and giving her multiple baths. Lea loves and still remembers Whitney when she comes to visit every now and then! I've also seen Whitney pet-sit for other animals, and she has been attentive, loving, and caring for the pets as if they were her own! I highly recommend leaving your furry friends with Whitney!”

Kayla W.

“Kayla is an outstanding sitter!! She is very vigilant and compassionate. I highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs!”

Midtown pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was my first time hiring Karli as a drop in sitter for my cat, and I was incredibly impressed. She was very thorough at the meet and greet, and was extremely professional and communicative throughout the booking. She always wrote detailed updates on how my cat was doing for each Rover card, and she genuinely left my house spotless. I would absolutely trust Karli with my cat and home and would book her again.

We were absolutely thrilled with Copeland’s work! She has excellent communication skills and is willing to go above and beyond for pets and their families! She dealt with our kitty having accidents and adjusted accordingly. We will definitely book her again!! Thank you, Copeland :)!!!

Bernadette has exceeded my expectations duing her drop-in visits with my dog Penny. I have a long commute and needed someone to come let her out to go potty and spend time together during the day. Bernadette gives very detailed reports of Penny's mood, consumption, and potty habits, and it puts me at ease while I'm far away. Bernadette has helped in my home in big and small ways, and my pets absolutely adore her (she throws the kitty love in as a bonus!). I trust her completely in my home, and am so happy she is available while I'm at work!

Thank you Carrie!!! She did a great job taking care of Cleo and was great at troubleshooting. There was an apartment issue and she helped work with me remotely to solve it. Thank you thank you! She communicated quickly on the app and always provided updates from her check ins. There is nothing more I could have asked for.

Ashley was great! She is very reliable and communicative. She showed up to feed my kitty like clockwork, twice a day. Whenever there was something to communicate she did, right away. My front gate was jammed one morning and she contacted me with suggestions about entering through the back. She was very respectful of my apartment and kept things neat. When I got back she offered to bring back my key without me asking for it, and came very quickly. The entire process was effortless. She is great. I highly recommend her!

Tessa was all we had hoped for to our 16 year old dog. He loved her from the start and she was intuitive and patient with him and his various older dog issues. She’s really easy to plan with and we hope she will help take care of him when we can’t for the rest of his life.

Jessica was very communicative and let us know about any issues such as the automatic cat feeder was unplugged. She also sent us pictures and videos and it was obvious that our kitties felt comfortable around her. She seems quite experienced and we definitely will try to book Jessica again in the future!

Melody and Vicky came to our home so we could introduced our dog to them. Our dog usually takes days to trust new people. However, Bentley almost immediately warmed up to them both. 🤯 While we were traveling we received several pictures. We especially love the one of Bentley sleeping in their laps. My wife and I will definitely use Melody and Vicky in the future. We highly recommend these two dog lovers!

Hope is the best!!!! When she is watching our two cats I know she cares as much about them as I do! She is an excellent and thorough communicator. Hope takes and shares the best cat pictures which helps us miss them a little less while we are away. We are so grateful for the love she shows our cats!
