“Heidi impressed me in our meet and greet when I explained that LuLu was very skittish and probably would not come out from under the bed. Heidi got down in her hands and knees and located LuLu, and has sent me pictures every day, which melted away my separation anxiety. The communication was excellent, and I would definitely request Heidi in the future!”

“Alexis went above and beyond on the tasks requested and even stayed extra time with my cats which was very kind of her! She was punctual and responsible and my cats warmed up to her immediately. I was able to have peace of mind during my trip. I would definitely rebook with Alexis and recommend her to anyone looking for pet care.”

“Heather continuously goes above and beyond for us. Our cat, who runs and hides with any other sitter, will come out and love on Heather. I feel confident leaving our fur baby with her.”

“I have two small kittens that I had to leave for a week. They stayed with Riley all week and looked very content and happy in the pictures I received. Riley’s veterinary experience was also a huge peace of mind. Would recommend to anyone!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10. We currently have 2 large dogs. I can administer medication. I have a very flexible schedule. My schedule is very flexible since I have a 2.5yr old daughter. My husband is also home about 50% of the month which makes my schedule even more flexible. I have taken care of all different sizes and breeds of dogs and cats since I was a kid. Both of my dogs are rescues who needed some extra love to acclimate when they came home.

About: Hello! My name is Kate and I want to meet your pet! I have a seven year old Australian Shepherd who might be the love of my life (don't tell my husband!) I have grown up around dogs but have also taken care of cats and guinea pigs. In all seriousness, I live in the Goochland/Short Pump area and offer pet walking during the day. I'm a super active person who works from home and has the time to commit to make sure your pet is well taken care of! My first dog (a Westie) lived to be almost 17 and by the end of his life, needed a variety of medicines throughout the day and so that is another service that I can offer. I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I work from home starting late morning and also typically go to the park everyday after work (depending on the weather). I am available before work, during lunch, and after work. I make sure that your pet has plenty of water and play time before I leave the visit! I always make sure your pet is comfortable and we can play as much as they want!

“Excellent caretaking of our cats. Kelly went the extra mile to also feed our wild birds, which I know THEY appreciated! She made sure that the trash got taken out so that our house didn't smell of old catfood cans, which was so thoughtful. We will use her again!!!”

“Alexandra took such good care of my brand new puppy and was such a good sport. Can’t express how thankful I am for how much help she was. My pup loved her and it was awesome to find someone I could trust entirely!”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was seven years old. My family had two kittens that I cared for and I was responsible for pet sitting other fur babies in the neighborhood growing up. I also attended many animal science/nature camps growing up, it’s where I got my first hermit crab! I also know the Heimlich maneuver for both cats and dogs. In my junior year of high school I applied and was accepted to the HOSA veterinary science program where I graduated in the National Honors Society. Shortly after graduation, I started working at a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant. My job was to help restrain animals for exams/shots, organize medications, prepare/read fecal slides and determine if intestinal parasites are present, collect urine samples, and provide basic care. Overall I have had personal experience caring for dogs/puppies, cats/kittens, goats, horses, hamsters, chickens/chicks, pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets, chinchillas, birds, lizards, snakes, frogs, turtles, hermit crabs, and axolotls. I am currently a student in nursing school and am working as a part time server. I only have classes two days a week on Monday (6 AM - 6 PM) and Tuesday (8:30 AM - 11:15 AM) and work a couple hours 2 evenings a week, but can take off if needed for services. I like to learn about their daily routine and what they like to do for fun so and incorporate those things into our routine while clients are gone, so pets feel safe and relaxed while their family isn’t there.

Katharine C.
“I have known Katharine for over 3 years, first as her government counterpart at a job and now as a friend. She is an incredibly kind and responsible person. She keeps a cool head under pressure, pays attention to details, and is very personable. Katharine takes exceptionally good care of her own pup and provides him with the all the love, exercise, and structure needed for a high energy dog. I own two dogs myself and am quite protective of them; I would entrust them to Katharine any day without hesitation. I have a very senior dog and a one year old fearful dog. Both require different care due to their temperament and ages. Katharine is the kind of person you can trust in this kind of situation knowing that she’ll carry out any instructions while also giving them lots of love and attention. Katharine is one of the best people I have ever known both personally and professionally. My pets are basically my kids and I know that is true for many people. Katharine is the ideal person to lay your trust in for anything. She would be an excellent caregiver to any dog.”
