About: Hi! I'm Liz, a dedicated animal caretaker with over 20 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and pocket pets. I'm passionate about keeping pets happy, healthy, and safe, whether it's through daily walks, playtime, or administering medications. I treat every animal like a member of my own family and take pride in providing consistent, loving, care tailored to each pet's unique needs. I work from home, so pet care fits into my daily or weekly routine in a way that is structured but flexible, depending on the pets' needs, and the type of care I am providing. I have over an acre in my back yard that can be enjoyed for playtime with pets. I have secure doors in my house, and I keep my home secure and pet-proof. No small objects or breakable items in areas where we play and spend time. I have a pet first-aid kit on hand in my home. I have contact information for local veterinarians and emergency clinics readily available. I have some basic knowledge in first-aid and CPR for dogs and cats.

About: I have taken care of all dogs and cats for years. In 2025 I gained my training and worked as a Kennel Technician at the HoundsTown franchise. On the side, whether its neighbors who go away for extended vacations, or dog walking within apartment buildings in New York and Central Park, this has always been a job in my life. This included grooming, feeding, administering medication, playing & exploring, keeping them company, training them around other dogs, and many other tasks. I love being outside and taking care of such sweet animals, I would love to care for your critter! I work in Social Work locally. I only work 28 hours a week as of right now and work mostly from home. I am available. In my own home I only have one cat. She has constant food, water, and attention. She loves to play and cuddle. Your pet will receive the same exact treatment as all animals are special to me.

About: I've grown up taking care of multiple dogs and cats my entire life! I love playing with animals and giving them lots of attention. I enjoy taking dogs on sniff walks and playing mentally enriching games with them! I have often taken care of family and friends' animals throughout the years. I am reliable, punctual, and have a very flexible schedule! I recently moved back into the area and don't have a set schedule, so I have lots of availability! I am available all day every day except for Wednesdays and Saturdays. On Wednesdays I am available in the morning and afternoon until 3 pm. On Saturdays I am available late afternoons and evenings after 3 pm. I will spend a minimum of 30 minutes at your house, providing your animal with whatever care it needs, as well as lots of love and attention! I will take them on long walks, play games with them in the house, or even cuddle with them during their rest time, if that's what they like.

About: I grew up with dogs, a cat, gerbil, fish, and even a rescue squirrel. I have been pet sitting for a few years and just love it. I take care of all breeds, ages, and size dogs as well as cats and other traditional pets. I can administer oral meds and ointments. While I am not a trainer, I do everything I can to reinforce any training they have or are undergoing. I am a full time pet sitter. I occasionally do some consulting but that is all WFH. I am flexible and don't have any day restrictions. While I am open to boarding and some dog walking, I typically do pet sitting in your house and drop-ins while people are out of town. My goal is to keep consistency for your animals. I ask questions to understand what they are allowed and not allowed to do, eat, etc. and I stick to it. I believe pets are a member of your family, not just some animal. I will do everything I can to create a safe environment for them. I will also take their lead. If they want pets, they will get it. If they are more standoffish, I won't force contact. Their well being is my #1 priority. You will find I am very communicative, and provide updates how and when you would like. While my 1st priority is their safety, my second, is providing you will peace of mind, so you can fully enjoy your time away.

About: I’ve taken care of young puppies, energetic dogs and senior pets as well. We are an outdoorsie family and like to go for long walk and hikes with our dog. High energy pet is a no problem! Our current dog is a senior, so we have a nice accommodating environment for her and other senior pups. I’m staying home currently with a baby. I decided to start providing pet care for extra income and for interacting with other animals, as we are not a able to get more animals at this time. I have a large house with a one acre yard and an and an overhead trolley cable. There are multiple rooms where the dogs can rest and a large crate where the doggies can be if they feel safe there.

About: I grew up in a home that always had multiple animals. Whether it was cats, dogs, fish, snakes and plenty more I was always taking care of different animals. Now as I’ve grown older the love for animals has not stopped. Dogs are really the best companions and can understand you more than some humans. The love I have for animals is truly the same love I have for family members. I’ll always make sure they are being well taken care of, fed, running freely or on walks, playing and always loved! Your dog will be treated like my own! My work schedule varies quite a bit, I may need to go into work sometimes & in that case my mother is typically home anyway. Otherwise I am home I have a fenced in area for the doggies to run freely. I have a dog of my own so I know what a dog needs and the love and attention they deserve! They can sleep wherever they’re most comfortable with at my home.

About: I grew up with two dogs who were my best friends. I have been steadily watching my sister’s beautiful dog Albert and her new puppy Janice for 3 years. Those days are the best days - i walk them, feed them their meals and required medicine, and always make sure they have loads of attention and pets! I work remotely and my schedule is very flexible, so I can cater to your individualized needs! I travel sometimes on weekends, but with enough notice, I will lock your dog sitting needs into my schedule and always show up in a timely fashion! I always keep an eye on the pets I am watching when out in the yard, even if the space is enclosed - I watch for other animals, etc to always ensure your pet’s safety. I have gone on many a walk with medium to large dogs and always make sure their leash is within 6-8 feet and they are secure within their harness.

About: I've owned a small dogwalking/pet sitting business since 1999. I(Maria) am CPDT-KA certified in dog training as well. I've worked with all breeds of dogs, ages with many different dispositions. My husband & I moved from Brooklyn(where we had our biz since 2006) to New Paltz this summer. We are continuing to do personal & very limited boarding in our new home. I(Maria) am also offering private training sessions(in your home) . I specialize in puppy or newly adopted pups/dogs. Doggie care is part of my daily routine. I have 2 dogs of my own, both less energy less days, but still enjoy getting their walks & sniffs in. The very limited boarding means your dogs stay with our family, always supervised & leashed outside. We have many dogs beds but can bring your own.

About: I have had pets my whole life and hold animals dear to my heart! I LOVE spending time with them and making them happy. I have cared for dogs and cats for years and am very patient with them. I have a fenced in yard. I would prefer to avoid bringing clients pets into my home because I have 2 cats. But if the dog is friendly enough and has experience with cats I would consider it. My house is fairly big. It has a basement and attic, with 2 floors they’d have room to run and play. I have a medium sized yard so there would be room for them to run and play. I also have a safe street to bring them on walks. I pet sit full time. I’m looking to gain more clients so please book me. I spend my time practicing yoga, studying holistic health, caring for my own cats, reading or creating… so I am able to shift my schedule around easily to fit your needs! My home is cozy and safe with lots of room to run around and comfy furniture to sleep on! I keep the windows open and do not use toxic products in my house.

About: I lived in California for 4 years and while I was there I was apart of a dog rescue. Many dogs lived at my house. I also had a couple of cats , so I am comfortable around both! I am working part time at the moment so my schedule is pretty open for the most part. You can just ask me a time and I can see if I can work around it! I watch a family friends dog a lot at my house. He just wanders around the house. He is usually stuck to me like glue so he doesn’t go far lol . When he stays at my house he just lays in bed with me. He is a Maltese and Chihuahua mix! When he goes outside to use the bathroom he doesn’t go far and he listens to me when I tell him to come. I do not have fencing or anything around my house.

About: I have been pet sitting and dog walking since my very early ages. I am in expert in care for dogs, cats, reptiles, and rodents. I have four years of professional dog walking/pet sitting experience, but a decades worth of experience in general animal care. I worked for a high-end dog walking service in DC and have been on Rover for around 2-3 years now. I have also worked at a vet, and am familiar with the health needs of most animals. I am currently in school at SUNY New Paltz, but if I can manage to fit dog walking or pet care in my schedule, I will always put in the effort to do so! About: I've loved dogs since I was a little kid, I always wanted to go and play with every dog we saw growing up. For years, I had asked my parents for a dog, and they finally said yes a few years ago. Since getting my dogs, a 12 year old Shitzu and a 12 year old Maltese Yorkie, my love for them only grew, and I love taking care of them. I've always known that I wanted to work with dogs once I got older. I've watched and currently watch over many dogs, whether they stay at my house or I go to theirs. I'm more familiar with smaller/medium sized dogs, but I am very comfortable with all sizes. I give every dog I work with my constant attention and care. I walk, feed, clean up after, give medicine to them, and of course, lots of cuddles and pets. Every pup is different, and I will do my absolute best to work with you and listen to instructions about how to give yours the best experience they could wish for! I am currently in school but have a very flexible and open schedule. I have off on Wednesdays and Friday-Sunday. I have a car so I am able to go back and forth as needed. I live in a house, and have a fenced in yard that contains a driveway, a deck, and large patch of grass for your puppy to do their business and have fun in! I have two 12 year old pups of my own, a Shitzu and a Maltese Yorkie. They'll greet your dog at arrival, but for the most part they mind their own business. I live with my mom, dad, and my two sisters. We all love dogs and will give your puppy all the attention they need. The dogs are allowed on most of the furniture and will be able to sleep anywhere on the first floor, or with me in my bed. I will follow any rules you have at your home and will treat your pup as similar to the way you do!
