About: Animals have an incredible ability to ease the tension they sense in the ones they love, so in turn I would like to provide a sense of safety and love with each encounter with your pet. Your chosen family is often stronger than the one you are born into, and these animals that we have taken into our homes and hearts show it clearly and consistently. I have worked in an animal hospital for about 2 1/2 years and in my time I learned many tools to create a safe and welcoming environment. I can trim nails, clean ears, brush out matts comfortably and give sanitary haircuts. I was trained to give thorough baths to make pets squeaky clean! I can also administer medication and have taken care of pets who are getting up there in years. I have experience watching 20-30 dogs in a group setting and can walk up to 7 dogs comfortably at a time. I have basic dog training knowledge and I am familiar with animal behavior and how to deescalate potential dangerous situations and soothe an anxious animal. I will soon be going back to school and have a part-time job so my schedule is flexible. I am looking to add walking pet sitting and bathing back into my routine. Written instructions on specifics on how to care for your pets are helpful in making sure your standards of care are being met. Trust is a need not a want when it come to animals, some need easing into meeting a new person and some are all in on the initial meeting, whatever the case forcing a connection is the best way to destroy it. Taking time to bond is something essential to animal caregiving.

Honey has epilepsy so it’s nice to have someone there with him when I’m out for an extended period of time incase of an emergency. I will definitely be rebooking with Keeley!”

I can pick up and drop off if needed and take your pet to the vet or any grooming appointment. My home is very pet friendly. Pets are allowed to roam and allowed on furniture..I recently moved to an apartment..and have a balcony with a potty area..but take the dogs out often. We go on walks throughout the day as well.

About: I grew up with 2 cats and 2 dogs. In college, my roommate brought her dog in, and when she was away, I treated her dog as my own. I walked, fed, and played with her. I have a lot of experience taking care of them. I currently volunteer at the OC Animal Shelter in the kitten nursery and took a dog 101 course. No matter what type of pet you have, I would love to care for them. I'm free after 5 pm Monday-Thursday and Friday after 2 pm. Saturday and Sunday, I'm free most mornings, and I will always be free after 1 pm. I respond quickly and send however many updates/pictures you want. I will always keep an eye on your pet, even if they are in an enclosed environment. I will follow any instruction/schedule to the tee. Even though I'm energetic, if your pet wants a calm night, I will be able to provide it. My main priority is making sure your pet feels safe and loved.
