About: Hi! I’m Rob, and I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or overnight care, I bring patience, love, and attentiveness to every pup I meet. I understand how important it is to keep your dog’s routine consistent and stress-free while you’re away. I’m confident handling everything from high-energy dogs who need long walks, to senior pups who need extra gentleness and care. Safety, trust, and tail wags are my top priorities. I treat every dog like family—because that’s exactly what they are. Let me know how I can support your dog’s needs while you’re away! I work remotely from my computer, which gives me a flexible schedule and the ability to be fully present for your pets throughout the day. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, morning feeding, or just some companionship while you’re away, I’m able to adjust my day to fit their routine. I genuinely love spending time with animals and find it so rewarding to care for them while working from home. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to accommodate your pet’s specific needs and schedule. When I care for your pets in your home, I treat your space with the utmost respect and care—as if it were my own. I understand the importance of creating a calm, secure environment for your pets while maintaining the privacy and safety of your home. You can count on me to follow your instructions closely, keep things clean and tidy, and provide regular updates so you always feel in the loop. I lock up carefully, stay alert, and take your trust seriously every step of the way. With me, your home and pets are in reliable, loving hands.

About: I've had pets for the majority of my life... from birth to my early twenties. I had only cage pets throughout my twenties due to apartment living and kids allergies. We finally got a dog again in 2018 and will never look back. I've had and cared for snakes, fish (salt water and fresh) hamsters, rats, lizards and the accompanying cage full of crickets, birds, and of course cats and dogs. I am a master at administering meds. Pills, liquid medication, topicals, you name it. I'm great at brushing, bathing and even drying pets. I am very well trained and experienced in avoiding bloat. I am really calm and patient with skittish pets, and can usually get them to come around within a couple days. And if i can't? That's fine, too. You do you, boo. As long as you're eating, drinking and not destroying the house, we don't need to be best friends. We can just wait together for your parents to come home. :) Like anyone, I have a soft spot for elders. My own pups are getting up there at 7 and 8. I love puppies too of course, but my schedule doesn't really accommodate for frequent daytime outdoor trips during the week. Best of all, I have plenty of room in my camera roll to take pictures and videos of your furry friends to keep you up to date while you're away. I know how much we can miss our furry friends, and I will love to reassure you that they're having a great time even though they miss you, too. Photos will be deleted after booking and will not be taken with any identifying information ie mail or yard with address. I currently work Monday 6am to 5pm, Tuesday through Friday 8am to 430pm, and am off weekends. I'm gonna be honest, this doesn't make me the best sitter for puppies or elders who need to go out often. I will come over in the morning before work, on my lunch break at 11 if you're close enough, and then as many times as possible during the afternoon and evening. I can stay for long stretches, or I can pop in and out, whichever works best for your pups. Being summer, I will not walk dogs if it's over 90. If it's too hot for my feet, it's too hot for theirs! However I will scoop backyard poop if you have a doggie door, change out potty pads, and mop with an enzyme cleaner before you get home. I try to make your pet's transition from you to me as seamless as possible. I will try to keep with their schedule as much as possible. I will give them loves in the way they prefer. I love playing with dogs, the crazier the better, and I live for snuggling with the snugglers. I drive a pickup truck whose seats have already been torn up by my dogs, so I don't have a problem bringing them to dog parks, vet appointments, Tractor Supply Dog Wash (for a fee) and God forbid, the emergency vet.

About: I am a big animal lover. I have owned multiple different breed dogs growing up. My last baby I owned lived to the age of 13 1/2 and passed away at the end of 2017. I have not been able to bring myself to getting another yet. So I am putting my love into other animals for now while making a paycheck doing something I love. Your babie(s) will have fun with auntie Brookie. I think it’s important to treat your animals like people for them to learn and become the best companions you can ask for. I often have been told I’m overkill with my fur babies but I just love making them happy. I am looking for more common clients but “once in awhile” clients are more the welcome as well. The goal is to create a relationship with you and your dog for a more comfortable and trusted stay. I know how important our babies our to us so gaining your and your pups trust is my #1 goal. I don’t have my own dog anymore but I miss the times I had and am excited to create some new friendships!

About: **my prices are lower since I am new on this app and the price should reflect that. That does not mean I do not have experience or that I will care any less for your family member as other sitters on here :)** -Grew up on a farm with a wide range of animals -My pups are my children and treated like royalty. Their homemade dinners are more healthy than what my fiance and I make for ourselves! -My uncle is a vet so I've got a vet on stand by for any small to large questions and needs that may arise. I work at a teen homeless shelter so my shifts paired with my fiance's job shifts make house sitting at my house not feasible. I am able to do drop in services along with walk. I value safety above all else. Your best friend will be taken care of as if they are my own. Good communication will be maintained so you are kept in the loop and not having to worry.

About: Hello! My name is Brennon. I am a certified dog trainer through ABC (Animal Behavior College) and have been training dogs, boarding dogs, and walking dogs through Rover and through my own business for the past 8 years. I am a dog lover through and through! I have had all sorts of dogs throughout my life from purebred hunting champions to adorable needy rescues. I grew up with a pair of Dashounds names Hannah and Gretel as well as a chocolate lab named Malone. These wonderful dogs inspired my love of all dogs. After they sadly passed away my parents adopted a pair of Vizlas named Gunner and Maverick. I spent countless hours with those dogs at the park watching them point at pigeons and running around the soccer fields. Later I adopted from a shelter a border collie/ German shepherd named Pepper that I trained for a year before rehoming her with my uncle. Now I have two German Wirehair Pointers named Jäger and Hector and a Weimaraner named Piper. Nothing makes me more excited than the idea of creating a career for myself where I can spend time with dogs all day. I am currently working from home, and have very flexible hours, so I will be with your pup most of the day, and especially for the few hours after drop off. This is when your pup will be the most anxious and need someone to be there with them, as well as needing someone to be there to safely introduce all the dogs to one another with close supervision. Once dogs are all socialized and proven that they will get along the dog door is introduced so that pups can let themselves out for some outside time or potty breaks. The yard is fenced in and has a lawn for them to play or do business in. We have a .25 acre fence yard with a lawn perfect for the pups to run around in. We have a dog door for easy bathroom breaks when needed as well. If one or more dogs aren't getting along very well we have portable fences we can set up in the house to ensure that they cant get at each other. We also have several creates of differing sizes if creates are needed. When transporting the dogs I have a large camper van that can easily fit up to 12 dogs in it. When walking the pack dogs that are new or requested by the parents are kept on leash to ensure they stay with the group. Only once confidence is built up through recall in a fenced in area, and explicit permission is given by the parents are dogs allowed off leash on the pack walks.

Jayne took great care of the critters! I really appreciate all the photos documenting all she did and the time she took to let the cat know it wasn't forgotten. Experience with chickens is a definite plus. I recommend Jayne for my neighbors and will happily call her again.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
