“Zane had a good time with you, I can tell. Surprised he actually ate his meal the first night as that has never been our experience. Thanks for the first night pics! Will definitely call on you again when we have to leave Zane behind.”

About: Kind and trustworthy dog caregiver who truly enjoys spending time with animals. Experienced in feeding, walking, exercising, and giving dogs safe, loving attention while owners are away. References available upon request. As a retired pet sitter, I have the time to give dogs steady attention, care, and companionship. My day usually includes feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection while following each owner’s instructions. I also keep pet areas tidy and watch over dogs carefully so they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away. I provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for dogs in my care. My home includes a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and exercise. I also have two small, friendly dogs who enjoy meeting and socializing with visiting pets when appropriate. I carefully monitor all interactions and follow each owner’s preferences to ensure every dog feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for.
“I would highly recommend Melissa for your pet watching needs. We left our dog with her for a week, and had zero concerns with the care he would receive from her. She even took the time to check in with us and give updates with how he was doing.”

“Joan and Gregory are wonderful, and they took such good care of our dogs! Our dogs can be picky about who they like, but they instantly connected with Joan and Gregory. We will definitely be reaching out to Joan and Gregory in the future!”

About: Hi! My name is Hannah, and I’ve had dogs in my home for as long as I can remember. Growing up with them and later having several of my own has given me a lot of hands-on experience caring for dogs at every stage of life—from raising puppies to caring for senior companions. I’m comfortable with everyday care like giving oral medications, reinforcing basic manners, and making sure dogs get plenty of rest alongside their play. Whether a dog prefers a good game of fetch or curling up on the couch for naps and scritches, I’m happy to meet them where they’re most comfortable. I work from home full time, which allows me to give visiting dogs consistent supervision and plenty of attention throughout the day. To make sure every dog receives the best care possible, I only accept bookings from one family at a time, so your dog won’t be staying alongside multiple unfamiliar dogs. In my home I have two dogs who will be present and interacting with visiting pups: Cain, my neutered male Border Collie, and Mabel, my intact female Labrador Retriever. Because of this, guest dogs must be friendly and comfortable around other dogs. After an initial warm-up and introduction period, visiting dogs are welcome to relax in the full house and enjoy our securely fenced yard. For safety and comfort, all dogs are fed separately. I do my best to send photos and updates throughout each stay so you can see how your dog is doing. Clients are always welcome to reach out if they’d like an update as well—I’m happy to check in when I can. To help make sure every dog has a safe and comfortable stay, I do have a few basic requirements. Dogs should be friendly with other dogs and people, reasonably house trained, and comfortable resting in a crate as needed. They should also be up to date on flea prevention and generally healthy when they arrive. For safety, I’m not able to host dogs who are known escape artists, fence climbers, or dogs with severe separation anxiety that leads to destructive behavior. To help your dog settle in smoothly, please bring enough food for the duration of the stay, a crate for your dog, and written notes with feeding instructions, schedules, and emergency contact information. A meet-and-greet beforehand is always encouraged so we can make sure everyone—dogs and humans alike—feels comfortable before the stay begins. Caring for the pets in my home is the backbone of my routine. I plan my day around the needs of my pets and with the weather cooling off I make plans for what activities I can do that my dogs might enjoy. For services in your home - the more details the better! Tell me their routine, their favorite toy, what games they like to play, what trick or behavior you are working on and I will do everything I can to keep things running smoothly so your baby is as comfortable as can be. I am also more than happy to take care of any daily needs like plant care or taking out the trash cans upon request.

“Fabiola was awesome. Ellie’s a bit shy so no play time, but Fabiola administered meds in her food, fresh water & gave her a clean box daily. We had to cut our vacation short, but Fabiola was super flexible. We’ll be using her again!”

“Savannah watched our cat Taz over a long weekend, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything went! About: I have had fur babies while raising my 6 kids for the last 15 years. I am skilled in grooming, training, breeding, administering vaccinations and medications. I work from home and I’m able to spend a lot of time often caring for your animal. I have open green spaces in my neighbors for lots of play time and tons of walking trails. “This was the first time I used Rover and it was a fabulous experience. I had a last minute schedule issue on a holiday weekend and was sure no one would respond on such short notice- but Angie did! She took great care of my two young and slightly unruly standard poodles and they came back pleasantly tired out. I'd recommend Angie to anyone- especially if your dog likes to jog.”
