About: Hi! I’m Gussie — a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and needs. I’ve had animals my entire life, from bunnies and cats to big lovable dogs. Growing up, I cared for my white Lab, who had several medical issues. I took full responsibility for his care in high school — giving medication, monitoring his health, and making sure he felt loved and safe every day until he sadly passed. More recently, I adopted my golden retriever almost two years ago and trained him myself. He has a reliable recall, a strong sit and stay, and knows all the basic tricks. It’s been such a rewarding experience building that trust and communication together. These experiences have made me passionate about giving animals the same thoughtful care and love they bring into our lives. Whether your pet needs a high-energy playmate, a calm and comforting presence, or someone with experience giving medication, I’ll treat them with the same care and affection I’d want for my own. I live in a house with a fenced-in backyard in Nashville with my boyfriend and our golden retriever, Yadi! He’s a very sweet and social boy who gets along great with other dogs. I work from home, so I’m home the majority of the day and have a very flexible schedule. That means your pet will get lots of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day — they’ll rarely (if ever) be left alone. Your pet is welcome anywhere in our home, whether they like to curl up on the couch or sunbathe by the door. I’m happy to stick to any routines or rules they follow at home — whether that’s no furniture, special diets, or extra snuggles before bed. I can also send regular updates and plenty of pictures so you can relax while you’re away. Creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment is my top priority when caring for pets — whether they’re in my home or I’m visiting theirs. At my home, pets are welcomed into a calm, dog-friendly space with a fully fenced backyard and plenty of room to play or relax. I live with my boyfriend and our golden retriever, Yadi, who is very sweet and gets along well with other dogs. I work from home, so pets are rarely left alone and get plenty of attention throughout the day. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible and can accommodate crate training, feeding schedules, medication, or any special needs. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and routines — I know how important it is for pets to feel secure in their own environment. I stick to their normal walking routes, feeding schedules, and rules (whether they’re allowed on the couch or not!). I always aim to keep things stress-free and familiar so they can stay happy and relaxed while you’re away. Whether in my home or yours, I care for every pet as if they were my own — with kindness, patience, and attention to detail.

About: Enthusiastic dog dad who has been caring for animals large and small for friends and professionally since I was 15. Very conscientious and willing to tailor care to the individual. Whether I am watching a a 6 month old pup or a 12 year old senior, I will ensure they enjoy their stay. I am a young professional who works from home Monday through Friday. I exercise and give potty breaks as often as weather permits with no more than 4-5 hrs between. I am also happy to take leashed walks and or obedience train outside of business hours and weekends upon request. My home has a brand new secure privacy fence that stays locked with nice size yard. I do not leave dogs outside while I am away and have security/dog monitoring cameras. Your dog will stay in my home dog area and will only be crated if necessary. Lots of windows and separated so there is no access to the front door if you have one that likes to bolt. A safe environment for my dog and yours is my number one priority!

About: I’ve had a dog in my life since I was a child! I currently have a 16 yr old Yorkie who is very sweet and keeps to himself. I will supply a warm, comfortable, loving home! You can count on me to keep your fur baby safe! I work a remote position and have a big back yard! I am always home to be able to take care of your pets needs! With me working from home, I am able to make sure your pet is always comfortable! My Yorkie will also be a great companion to snuggle with!

I currently work from home most of the time & would love to have your fur baby keep me company! We love walks, hikes & adventures! My senior husky recently crossed the rainbow bridge so I currently have no pets in the home. I live an active lifestyle so your pup will get plenty of walks & I work from home most days, if I am working away it's only for a couple of hours at a time. I live in an apartment with a dog park & secure area for off leash play, as well as near many trails for walks! My house's core belief is dog's belong on the couch & all of the snuggles.

About: I’ve been a pet owner my entire life and grew up with a menagerie of creatures to care for and love, even including rehabilitating and releasing an orphaned baby squirrel! We are an animal-adoring household with energy and love to spare. In recent years, we’ve also gained experience with senior dog care. I currently work part-time and solely from home, which gives me plenty of time and freedom to play, walk, and cuddle your fur babies ! We enjoy long greenway walks and trail adventures with our pup—and would happily bring yours along for the fun too. We have a large fenced-in yard and live on a quiet, safe street that’s great for walks and backyard zoomies. Our dog is extremely friendly and chill— and she loves other dogs, so she looks forward to socializing and playing with yours. We also have 3 very friendly cats and a gentle, animal-loving 6 year old who is always eager to give ear scratches and help out.

My family and I decided to spend two days in Nashville and planned to go to the water park for a day, so I had to quickly find someone to help with our dog, Luna, while we enjoyed the park.
