About: Growing up, family friends and school teachers would often ask me to pet/house sit their fur babies as they knew how much I care about the well-being of all animals. I understand that a lot of pets do not easily trust others, for me this is important in being able to give an animal their space and respecting their boundaries. I make sure to take my time with getting to know each pet I care for. I also have experience caring for birds and rodents 🤗 I am currently working from home part time and am available to provide frequent potty breaks and frequent play. I have my own dog who i take to a nearby park twice a day in addition to several short breaks throughout the day. I have plenty of apartment space for play and have my own dog to keep your baby company while they are visiting. I also let animals on my furniture so they can really feel at home and comfortable.

I adopted and cared for a heeler rescue pup in college but she sadly stayed with my ex after our relationship ended. I also had a hairless Chinese Crested dog as a kid. I've lived in Portland for 5 years and frequently pet sit for my friend’s puppies, dogs and cats. I have a calming demeanor and my friends say I am their pets favorite person! About: I am studying zoology as an undergraduate student, but my love for animals has spanned my whole life. I started caring for pets in my neighborhood in elementary school, and since then, I have continued to care for the pets of neighbors and family friends. I have experience with dogs big or small, whether that be walking, sitting, playing, and some training (which I am working to improve via clubs in college). I have cat sitting experience and would love to expand my cat care skillset. I have had bigger dogs all my life and know how to love, handle, & play with them, even through their senior years.
