About: I have grown up in the dog show world 40 years. Handling chow chows. I am also a dog groomer double coats all my adult life and pet grooming 7+ I have never lived with out a dog or a pet. I treat dogs in my care as my own children. I am a dog groomer. My hours vary. While I am at work my father who is retired and lives with me will stay home with your pet. So none are ever alone. I have a fenced back yard and a separate fence for my pool to keep the dogs out of that area and stay safe. I also have gates throughout my house. example is my front door.

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a teenager, having family pets growing up and also including watching neighbors’ dogs as well as friends and family members pets over the years. Animals have always warmed up to me immediately, even when described as shy or unfriendly. I work full time but my position has me mobile and traveling to different locations around Long Island throughout the day. This allows me to make stops during the midday for walks. About: I’ve been dog sitting and walking since I’m 10. I have two of my own dogs and have had many rodents and have cared for cats and birds. I can provide in your home pet sitting/ house sitting, where I can play and care for your pet while you’re away making sure they are getting plenty of attention. I walk dogs and make sure they get the exercise they need. I can dog walk daily. I have experience with rescues and troubled dogs as well, I am an armature trainer. I have taken animal behavior classes and learned training methods of sea mammals at an aquarium which transfers well. I am not a certified groomer but I am very comfortable providing bathes for dogs. I have always loved animals which is why I am studying pre-veterinary medicine at the University of Delaware. I am very flexible and can turn on a dime need be. You can be assured I will care and love your furry friend like I love mine. I am going to be working in a lab during the day but am available weekends and after lab (hours TBD). This would allow me to do drop in and home stays for dogs that are used to be home during the work day I follow the instructions provided by the owner. If the prefer crate training that works and if they despise it that’s also fine. The owner knows their pet and I will respect that.
