“So glad I found Vy!! have a rescue dog who can take a while to warm up to strangers. When considering sitters, I hoped to find someone with experience looking after dogs which exhibit nervous/stressed behavior, which Vy has. Max was comfortable around Vy almost straight away and within a short while of meeting her partner Sean. He spent the day playing and napping with her pup Hardy and receiving belly scratches! Vy also puts a lot of care into the pet owner experience- I received a Google docs link through which she uploaded adorable pictures and videos of max during the day, and complete report card. I stayed at a dog friendly hotel but even going for breakfast made my puppy very anxious alone in the room we decided to use over for the first time and I urgently contacted Darius. He was very prompt to respond and accommodated everything. He was very vigilant for for example I feed my dog fresh food, which I forgot to tell him, but he had already put the food in the fridge. He has a very sweet and loving puppy, and I could visibly see mylo happy. If I ever returned to Houston, Darius is my guy. Milo has never been around strangers, but he was extremely comfortable with Darius. He also sent updates every so often and was prompted to answer anything I asked. I don’t think twice.”

In the home, I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure, and that dogs are never given access to unsafe items such as human food or small objects. During walks, I use proper leashes and collars, or harnesses, as instructed and remain alert to surroundings, other animals, and traffic to prevent accidents. I practice good hygiene, clean up promptly after pets, and maintain a calm, structured environment to reduce stress. I also communicate clearly with owners, providing updates and reaching out immediately if I have any concerns.
