About: I’m new to Rover but not to dogs! I have worked in a veterinary kennel, a daycare/boarding center, completed a PennVet summer program, and volunteered at the SPCA for years. Let me walk your doggies! I love them all. I am free daily until late August, barring my 5-8 pm tutoring shifts, a few weekly appointments, and random engagements. I have lots of energy in the morning so I can do early morning walks if needed. I am very respectful and caring towards others’ animals, spaces and belongings, and would love the opportunity to take care of your pet in your home so that both of you have the least anxiety possible.

About: I volunteered at the animal shelter Wanderes Rest all throughout high school. I have experience with many different kinds of animal behaviors. I work as a vet assistant for my job. Which means I know how to handle and take care of your precious fur babies. I can teach new commands if requested. I have experience with giving oral medication to both cats and dogs. I have experience with taking care of both senior cats and dogs. I will be attentive and detail oriented to their needs and care. About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

When their house is on fire, most people would rather rescue their precious keepsakes or crying baby than the companion that’s been there through everything. But that’s not John. I have the utmost confidence that John will treat your dog with the utmost protectiveness like those mothers who can lift cars when their kids are trapped inside. Not that his house has ever been on fire or anything. They have at least four exits, an extinguisher, and never light candles even though they have them.”

Alex did a great job, as always, of taking care of our two cats while we were on vacation. She followed our instructions, and the cats were obviously happy to see her. Everything was in good shape when we returned. I would not hesitate to have Alex take care of them in the future.
Savannah was phenomenal looking after and visiting my two dogs. Her communication and follow-through were both superb.
