1. Susan H.

“Susan was great! One of our girls has a pretty extensive medicine routine. Susan being there gave us the peace of mind we wouldn’t have found anywhere else. I assure you the next time we need help with our babies we’ll be calling on her.”

2. Jessica F.

“Jessica is an exceptional petsitter. This was her first stay with our dog and 2 cats, and our first booking through Rover. In the past we've always used petsitters that had been recommended to us by friends, but when our regular sitter had to be out of town for a funeral unexpectedly, we decided to give Rover a try. I was drawn to Jessica's description of her approach with cats, stating that she "connects with each cat on their terms." Our cats have extremely different personalities, and one has a tendency to be anxious and very slow to warm up to people. It was important to me that a petsitter respect this cat's boundaries and take their time earning my cat's trust. Jessica blew us away in this regard. By the end of her weeklong stay, not only was our cautious cat seeking out Jessica, sitting near her, and allowing pets... our cat even slept in the bed snuggled up with Jessica on the last night of her stay. This far exceeded our expectations and is direct evidence that Jessica honored our cat's boundaries and allowed the building of trust to happen at our cat's pace. Our dog had been ill in the days leading up to Jessica's visit, and though giving him meds and cleaning up after him when he'd had loose stools wasn't a part of her originally expected duties, she never missed a beat. She kept us updated on his improving condition while we were away and went out of her way to make sure our boy was recovering well. He clearly bonded with her as many photos featured him cuddling up with her. Jessica's communication was superb. I greatly appreciated that she texted me early on the morning of the first day of the stay, confirming she was looking forward to being with our furbabies and that she would notify us that she had arrived. We got daily pictures and updates on all three of our furbabies without having to prompt her for them. She responded very quickly to every message we exchanged, both leading up to the stay and throughout the course of the stay. Our home was well cared for during her stay as well. She took care of making sure the trash/recycling was put out on the correct day, left things as neat as they were when she arrived, and even cleaned up after our messy eater of a cat, leaving the feeding space nice and clean for our return. Best of all, when we returned home, though our pets were excited to see us, it was clear that they weren't stressed by us being away. They clearly received lots of affection and Jessica had followed our care instructions completely. We couldn't be more pleased and look forward to booking with her again in the future.”

3. Peter M.
“I recently had the pleasure of seeing the remarkable job Peter is doing about caring for dogs. Peter is an exceptional dog caregiver, and I can’t recommend him highly enough! From our first interaction, it was clear that he genuinely loves animals. He took the time to get to know my dog (Buddy), asking about his preferences, routines, and any mannerism he might have. During his time with Buddy, he was nurturing and attentive, ensuring he felt safe and comfortable. I received regular photos and updates, which really put my mind at ease while I was away on vacation. It was evident that Peter provided plenty of playtime and engaged Buddy in fun activities, keeping him exercised and happy. What stood the most was Peter's patience and kindness. He handled buddy's shy moments with care, allowing him to warm up at his own pace. Buddy was well-cared for and relaxed, which made me feel grateful when I returned home. I highly recommended Peter for treating your furry friend with respect and love!”

11. Kristie F.

“BOOK.HER.NOW!! In the last two months we needed help with four animals for a wild amount of travel for work. Kristie has stayed at our house 3 times now and is coming back next month. I was at complete ease knowing Kristie was here for our babies. They are all needy in their own way. 3 needed either medications or special foods mixed together with special diets. Kristie was kind, loving and efficient. She communicated frequently with pictures and our animals loved her. Each time we’ve come home you would never had known she was here. House exactly the way it was when we left! I adore Kristie and highly recommend her!!”

12. Angelina & Xavior P.

“Angelina & Xavior did a great job taking care of our mini Bernedoodle Eloise at our home! They were very professional and communicated with us throughout our week-long trip. They were neat, clean, & respectful of our home. Eloise was excited to have her new friends taking her on several walks, even joining some of her neighborhood friends & chatting on the walks along the way. Angelina & Xavier did a good job following Eloise's routines, including meals and medications. We've already booked them for another upcoming trip...and Eloise will be excited to see her two new best friends!”

15. Shalaya D.

“Shalaya was great! This was my first time using Rover and having someone house sit with my dogs so I was hesitant but then Shalaya came and did a meet and greet with myself and my 3 dogs and she was very patient, sweet and kind and all my dogs gravitated to her and liked her this made me feel much more comfortable and confident in leaving my dogs and home in her care. She did a house sitting for my 3 dogs for 4 days. When I got back home my dogs were so happy and content they let me know they had been well taken care of in my absence. I highly recommend Shalaya and will be using her again in the future.”

19. Amanda K.

“This was the first time we used Rover. I am blown away at my experience. Amanda was the best I could have hoped for! She was excellent with our senior, adopted rescue. She sent daily pictures & kept in contact while we were away to let us know how things were going. She was very respectful of our home. We feel like we hit the jackpot for our Oscar…he loved sitting the chair next to her and all the walks. Thank you so much Amanda- we will definitely be reaching out in the future!”
