“I was very nervous leaving Lola with a new person! Tanisha was great! She sent pictures and updated me throughout the day of Lola’s happenings! I’ll definitely book again!”
“Kelly and Ron were fantastic with our two dogs. From the start they were clearly trustworthy and responsible. It was the first time we used them but felt completely at ease leaving our pups in their care. They kept us updated regularly, sent photos, and always asked thoughtful questions to make sure everything was just right. They made sure the dogs were well-fed, comfortable, and completely at home, and showed them so much love and affection the whole time! We’ll definitely be using them again. Highly recommend!”
“This was a wonderful experience for me because I was Larry leaving Louey with anyone! He was well taken care of and came home exhausted, which is exactly what you want to see! The family was wonderful and we will definitely be using them again in October, but maybe sooner for a play date!”
“Ranesha was great! Kept us updated on our baby daily and he came back home, happy and excited. We will definitely be using her again. Super comforting and reliable experience.”
“Serria was wonderful and took exceptional care of our baby girl. We were concerned about how Zhuri would do with other animals, especially cats, but she got along well with Serria’s two dogs and cat. Serria sent daily photos of Zhuri bonding and relaxing with her eldest dog. One picture showed Zhuri outside in her spacious, fenced yard, where they had plenty of room to run and play. It was clear Zhuri felt comfortable in her home. Serria cared for our sweet girl as if she were her own. She was kind, responsive, and made the entire experience stress-free. Zhuri was in excellent hands with someone who clearly loves animals, and we truly appreciated the care and attention she received. Highly recommend!”
“I can't say enough good things about Surereal! She took such great care of my dog while I was away for a few days, and I could tell my pup was happy and well-loved the entire time. From regular updates to making sure my dog’s routine stayed consistent, she went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Not only was my dog well taken care of, but Surereal; also showed genuine kindness and professionalism throughout the entire experience. It’s clear that she has a passion for animals, and I felt completely at ease knowing my furry friend was in great hands. If you're looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter, I highly recommend Surereal. I will absolutely be booking them again!”
“She was absolutely wonderful with my dog! She kept me updated and sent plenty of pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. She even took her to the pet store and got her a toy—such a thoughtful and sweet gesture! I could tell my dog was happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter!”
“My 2 goldendoodles came home energized and happy. Bryce took great care of them. They had plenty of walks and dog park time. They got to play with other dogs and I was very relaxed knowing they were in good hands. I've even hired him as our daily walker since I go into an office everyday and he has been doing a great job with that too. I recommend using his services.”
“Ken took very well care of my dog while I was out of town. My dog and I met with Ken ahead of time to discuss boarding and make sure it was a safe place and good fit for everyone. He knew exactly what a big dog needed and made sure there was plenty of playtime and matched him with a play mate with the same temperament. The daily photos and videos were helpful to see my dog was doing well. Will definitely use Ken again.”
“Mrs Aimee is awesome ,she made it so I could go out of town and enjoy myself knowing that my dog (baby) was going to be taken good care of. I have used her in the past and I hope and pray she will continue to accept us as a client. Thank you so very much !”
“Nakita was great with my pup Dottie. She was prompt with communication and getting a meet and greet scheduled. She updated me with photos where Dottie had a big smile on her face and looked like her comfortable self. I was glad to hear she and her family enjoyed having Dottie. Nakita will definitely be on list of sitters to check availability for when I’m in need!”

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
