“Danielle was AMAZING ! This was our first time using the rover app and she made us feel so comfortable with leaving our babies in her care. Danielle’s response was very quick she provided updates with photos and followed our instructions perfectly. Danielle was punctual, accommodating, and extremely professional. We will definitely be booking with her for our future trips away from home.”

“Susan was great! One of our girls has a pretty extensive medicine routine. Susan being there gave us the peace of mind we wouldn’t have found anywhere else. I assure you the next time we need help with our babies we’ll be calling on her.”

“Kasianay was fantastic with my pup! She had great communication and kept my little guy doing things he loves like walks area the neighborhood. I look forward to Kasianay sitting again in the future as she made my often anxious pup so comfortable.”

“Kiersten was nothing short of fabulous. We get nervous about leaving our sweet boy, but Kiersten made it such a seamless transition. She was very attentive and friendly, our dog, Wader, just loved her. She kept us updated and sent lots of pictures and videos to put us at ease, and Wader looked like he was right at home with her. She took him on lots of walks, played fetch constantly, and even asked permission to take him hiking at a nearby park which was fabulous knowing his high energy was being entertained. We absolutely adored knowing he was being so well cared for and looked so comfortable with her in all the pictures and videos. We will 100% be using her again in the future and could not have been more happy with our experience with her. I’d give her a million stars if I could, if you need a sitter for your pet, this is your girl!!”

“I really wanted to keep Brianna, but she communicates well when securing the job but her communication is hit or miss when sitting. Also, the last visit she was late and I asked for her to modify the visit to a drop in since she came late even after me asking for a cancelation. I still have not gotten half of my money back even after contacting Rover, which Brianna has nothing to do with. She was great with my pet and I appreciate that, but as a traveling fur mommy, communication is non negotiable and I still want my refund from Rover.”

“Lanae was great! She was super friendly and our pup really liked her. She kept us updated and sent pictures and videos. She was respectful of our home and followed our rules. We will definitely book her again next time we need a sitter.”

“Stephanie was a life saver. I had a short notice booking. She was able to fit in a meet and greet, which was very important because we have a high anxiety dog. She was sweet and calm with my dogs, and also playful for my high energy dog. And our high anxiety dog started to warm up to her after a day or so: She left our home clean and orderly. Would definitely recommend!”

“Amanda was great! I was worried about my dog because she’s older. But she was very well taken care of and Amanda made sure Reese’s was in good hands! I will definitely rebook with her.”

“Jayne was responsive, shared tons of photos and kept the house super clean. It was our first time using Jayne and I felt very comfortable right away. Our dog has special needs and she took great care of him. Would definitely book her again.”

“Rachel was absolutely amazing with our two large pups. They’re super needy for attention and love and Rachel made them feel safe and secure while we were gone for almost a week. She fed them on time and maintained the same routine we have for them when we are home. Highly recommend and cannot wait to book her to watch our pups on our next trip! 10/10 exceptional service”

“Jessica is an exceptional petsitter. This was her first stay with our dog and 2 cats, and our first booking through Rover. In the past we've always used petsitters that had been recommended to us by friends, but when our regular sitter had to be out of town for a funeral unexpectedly, we decided to give Rover a try. I was drawn to Jessica's description of her approach with cats, stating that she "connects with each cat on their terms." Our cats have extremely different personalities, and one has a tendency to be anxious and very slow to warm up to people. It was important to me that a petsitter respect this cat's boundaries and take their time earning my cat's trust. Jessica blew us away in this regard. By the end of her weeklong stay, not only was our cautious cat seeking out Jessica, sitting near her, and allowing pets... our cat even slept in the bed snuggled up with Jessica on the last night of her stay. This far exceeded our expectations and is direct evidence that Jessica honored our cat's boundaries and allowed the building of trust to happen at our cat's pace. Our dog had been ill in the days leading up to Jessica's visit, and though giving him meds and cleaning up after him when he'd had loose stools wasn't a part of her originally expected duties, she never missed a beat. She kept us updated on his improving condition while we were away and went out of her way to make sure our boy was recovering well. He clearly bonded with her as many photos featured him cuddling up with her. Jessica's communication was superb. I greatly appreciated that she texted me early on the morning of the first day of the stay, confirming she was looking forward to being with our furbabies and that she would notify us that she had arrived. We got daily pictures and updates on all three of our furbabies without having to prompt her for them. She responded very quickly to every message we exchanged, both leading up to the stay and throughout the course of the stay. Our home was well cared for during her stay as well. She took care of making sure the trash/recycling was put out on the correct day, left things as neat as they were when she arrived, and even cleaned up after our messy eater of a cat, leaving the feeding space nice and clean for our return. Best of all, when we returned home, though our pets were excited to see us, it was clear that they weren't stressed by us being away. They clearly received lots of affection and Jessica had followed our care instructions completely. We couldn't be more pleased and look forward to booking with her again in the future.”

“Alexia was a fabulous pet sitter for our menagerie! And she was a very courteous house guest/sitter as well. Pictures and updates were timely and our old old dog was happy. :). Will try and book her again!”

“We chose Bliss to watch our pets and home and she did a great job keeping everything running smoothly which made our trip so much more enjoyable. She’s took a great care of our pets which includes two dogs, one being a puppy and also our pet rabbit. They enjoyed her so much that they are moping around now that we are home as if they miss her! We would definitely use her again as she is fantastic.”

“Elizabeth made our first traveling experience in a new area a breeze. We’re used to leave our pups with friends and family, but Elizabeth treated them exactly like someone who IS family and kept me updated with photos the entire time. We will definitely use her again next time we go out of town”

I am looking for new work so this may change. I have worked with both larger and smaller dogs. If they are still working in training I can continue to work with them on what they know. As of August 2026, there are 2,550 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Chattahoochee Hills. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Chattahoochee Hills walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Chattahoochee Hills maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Chattahoochee Hills choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
