About: I’ve had dogs almost my whole life. When I graduated college it was very important to me to have a dog. Luck found me in the shape of a beautiful grey Yorkie rescue! I’ve been caring for her for the last 7 years, and she’s the strongest dog I know. She’s outliving a heart condition and being blind! I am very accustomed to giving medications (we give three times a day)! We’ve added others to our pack as well, our own ol’ Opry at home with Hank, Emmy Lou, Maverick and Merle. Rest in peace Hank and Emmy Lou. I’ve also fostered many other dogs in addition to our rescued love bugs! I make time to play and cuddle the pups as I come to visit and love them! They are a priority to me, making them happy and loved as close as I can as if you were home! If you choose to board in my home, we have a fenced in yard and a dog door! Our yard is plenty big for many pups! We do have small children and dogs of our own that we would keep separate.

About: I’ve been pet/home sitting for 7 years with different families all over Maryland. My goal is to give clients ease and know their pets/home is in good hands! 😊 Since I work in the evenings, my mornings and afternoons are free to walk, play, or just keep your fur baby company while you’re away. And with house sitting, I’ll make sure your plants watered, etc. What started out as something I did to help our family and friends has grown to something I thoroughly love to do! While I do not have any pets of my own, I know there is great l responsibility when taking care of animals . My promise is to keep your pets in the safe environments you’ve provided/created for them.

“This was a last minute thing, as one of my co-workers informed me of Rover.com, so I went on and did an immediate search within my zip code and found several sitters. We reached out to Rachel because she was so close to our home we felt it would be convenient for both our dogs as well as her if she needed to tend to her own needs. Rachel met us the very next day and was prepared with notebook and pen to take notes, so we walked her through everything and she had very few questions. She also worked at our vet and was comfortable giving medication to dogs since our greyhound takes several meds in the morning and evening and this went well. No complaints from our side, she did keep us informed and left the house as she found it. Thank you Rachel, see you next time.”

About: Hi! I’m Dara. I’ve had a love for animals for as long as I can remember, which led to my career choice. I am a Force Free Certified Professional Dog Trainer with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. Being an over protective pet parent myself, I know how important it is to make sure your babies are in trusting hands. Training and behavior are my passion, which led me to branch out into dog walking. I feel I communicate well with dogs, and understand their body language well. Dogs are always communicating with us, we just have to learn how to understand them. I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have. I hope to meet you and care for your fur baby! I have a flexible schedule, but best if I have at least 24 hours notice prior. I’d also prefer to meet your animal ahead of time to be sure I don’t startle them upon a stranger entering. I would take care of your animals in their home. I don’t offer overnight, but would be happy to do drop in visits as needed.

About: My parents had a pet sitting business growing up. I also had horse goats cats dogs and fish growing up and I currently have a dog and two cats! I have experience with all ages and stages and I’m willing to help and work for you! I spend a lot of time daily walking my dog and I have plenty of spare time being a self employed business owner to help out! In the clients home how ever they instruct me. Same with dog walking. I will follow whatever guidelines given to me to personalize the experience
