About: I have have multiple years of caring for people's pets. I was a professional housekeeper with my own business for over 20 years and also cared for their animals when they were away. I have been a long time pet owner myself and recently my fur babies passed away. I am looking to earn a little extra income as a senior while enjoying the company of animals. I am a senior and I am retired. Recently my fur babies passed away and I am looking to supplement my income while caring for people's pets. I really miss having animals in my home. I live in a senior mobile home park and I have a fenced in yard. I make sure that animals are safe, fed watered, walked and get plenty of potty breaks. They will get lots of love. I keep the yard clear of poop so that their environment is healthy for them.

My dog is kennel trained and usually is in her kennel when no one is home, but we leave her out when we aren't gone long. I make sure everyone has water in the morning and evening. We walk our dog around the neighborhood twice daily. One in the morning and one in the evening. I have fenced backyard. I have a doggie door for pets to come in and out. I can also close it off to control access outside. I always leash my dog when going on walks.

About: Hello, I’d love to be your next pet sitter! I love other animals like they are my own & have strong passion for animals since i was young. I do have a part time job working two days a week in the evening but other than that I’m free to take care of your fur babies. I can house sit/ stay the night at your house, or check on pets a few times a day or give them walks. I’d love to know more about the pet(s) routine and set up a meet and greet for new clients. I’ve had years & years of pet experience with my own dog, cat, guinea pigs.. & family members pets. I’ve always watched & took care of my family’s pets when they were away, & when animals had seperation anxiety or felt sick. About: I have had dogs my whole life as well as cats and a few other random buddies. I currently own 3 dogs and 3 cats so I know they need love and attention many times a day just like a kid, and I will treat them like I treat my own loved ones. I currently do gig work full time and thus have a fully open schedule. I am able and willing to be there for your animals and house needs at any given hour. I am not currently offering care in my own home as I do not have the capacity of a correct home to take care of your loved ones since I already have my own friends in mine.

About: In addition to being a dog owner for 26 years, I have also worked with the Humane Society socializing dogs to humans and other dogs. One of my more noticeable cases was a dog who was not very outgoing. She was very shy. After all the work I put in, and a couple days, she was sitting in my lap in the world me to pet her, somethings no other volunteer had acheived. I have owned dogs all my life. I just had to say goodbye to my 18 year old chihuahua so I am very experienced in senior care. I’m very flexible any time, but after 5pm on weekdays or anytime on the weekends are when I will be free no matter what. I work 8-5 , but can work around my schedule to provide day walks or check in around noon Earning a dog’s trust is very important. I know to sit on the floor, allow them to walk up to me and offer a hand if they would like me to pet them. I love dogs so I play fetch, take them on walks, and give them unlimited pets

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
