“Daniela was fantastic! She watched my two springer spaniels over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. She kept me updated with plenty of pictures and videos of the pups having a great time with their new dog buddy Ranier. I couldn't have felt more confident that my dogs were being well cared for! Thank you Daniela! We'll definitely be back”

“Amy took our Great Pyranees for three days. Our GP is a new rescue, so she is not very predictable and still hasn't been to a groomer.... but Amy managed to understand her and love on her. She sent updates and pictures regularly and treated our girl like part of her family. Amy's flexibility was valuable behond words for us, given the circumstances. 100% recommendation 💛💛💛”
“Amazing!!!!! Frequent updates on how my dog was doing and even videos. She really took good care of my dog and my dog looked very happy considering he's an anxious dog.”

“Rosie had a great time at Gordan's place and hung out with the other dogs and her new "humans" during her seven-day stay. Gordan provided a few well appreciated photos of her as well.”

“Jen was an awesome sitter for our sweet Golden, Captain. She was welcoming and kind from the start and I could tell how much she loves her Labs and felt a kinship that Captain would be welcomed into the retriever pack! Although I was nervous because he hasn’t really been around kitties, he ended up doing fine and Jen assured me he adjusted well and she sent great updates and photos while we were away! I highly recommend Jen!”

“Anika was very flexible and cared so well for Bruce. She sent several pictures every day and Bruce couldn't be happier. On the walk home he kept looking back for her or perhaps her dog Maisy! Anika is very welcoming and has a beautiful home with a yard for the doggies to play in! I would definitely think of Anika again next time I go out of town.”

“Our dog had an unexpected medical issue right before we left town and required medication and a cone while we were gone. Nate was communicative and sent me a photo every day. Our guy was healthy and seemed happy when we got home.”

“Heather was absolutely amazing with Biggie and Peaches! She made them feel at home. Also took time to accommodate to their schedule. Will definitely be calling her again for Biggie and Peaches.”

“Serena was absolutely incredible with my dog Oliver! He was instantly happy to meet her and her family at the meet great and had a wonderful weekend getting spoiled with lots of cuddles and walks everyday! Will absolutely be booking with Serena in the future!”

“Diana clearly took great care of Bella. We were away for 6 days and although Bella was excited we were back she came home the happiest she's ever been after any stay with a sitter. No moping or depressed behavior. Will definitely use Diana again!”

“Denise & her husband were wonderful with Henry. They gave him lots of love and snuggles, and I could tell when we picked him up that he had been well cared for. Denise will always be our first pick for our boarding needs!”

About: I've been an animal lover my whole life and have always had at least one dog or cat in our home, as well as others often like fish and reptiles. I even lived and worked on a goat farm for a while and milked and cared for the goats. I'm an avid hiker and am happy to walk your dog for any length preferred on trail or road. In my other work I have over 15 years of experience as a healer (massage therapy and energy work) and meditation/yoga instructor and bring the calm this field has taught me to pet care. I'm used to hearing pet people tell me that their pets are so calm around me. I seek to form a connection based on trust and understanding with your pet. I am, without a doubt, a cat lady having had cats in my life since the age of 5. I currently have a sweet and sensitive Calico, who has lived with me for the past 11 years. She is a finicky eater and often deals with digestive issues, so I've had plenty of experience with various food regimes and giving supplements. We also have a sweet, playful, young male cat in our home (my daughter's cat) and a beloved bearded dragon. We recently welcomed a Shiba Inu into our family and she is such a joy in our home. I offer pet care as a side gig to my other work and love any opportunity to connect with your furry friends and other pets. I offer pet care part-time in addition to other work I do. I'm happy to walk dogs most weekdays/weekends between 8 am-3 pm and I can do pet check-in's most weekdays and some weekends and holidays with a few days notice. I am sometimes available for overnight pet stays in your home with ample prior notice. When coming to your home, I follow what usual routines you share with me for your pet and treat your home with utmost respect and care. If you have a preferred route to take your dog on a walk or favorite dog park, I'm happy to go with whatever your norm is and will make your dog most comfortable.
“Adrienne was amazing. She showed so much love for Ted and her dogs are super sweet. They all got along really well. She kept me updated throughout the day and I truly appreciate all the pictures she sent of Ted. Lots of walks. Ted found his family in Medford and he's going back the next chance he gets!”
“My dog loved her stay with Jennifer! After an initial meet-and-greet, my dog was very excited to return and stay for a few days. I will definitely be booking with Jennifer in the future.”

“What a lucky find!! Very nice family & Bella liked having a little girl for her new friend. Danijela sent pictures & notes to keep us updated, since Bella has separation issues. So nice to have someone that Bella will know next time I’m visiting in Medford.”

About: I'm currently an animal control officer for the city with a life long passion for animals. I have a vast array of experience with all species with my primary focus being on dogs, cats and equines. I have 3+ years of experience working in a mixed animal veterinary practice of 7 doctors and have maintained relationships with those veterinarians and technicians which gives me experience caring for animals in a medical capacity. This makes things like caring for medically complex furry friends, geriatric pets & giving medications, including injectables a breeze. I have 10+ years caring for horses and other large animals both personally and professionally. I managed a horse boarding facility in OR for 3+ years and then proceeded to work under a well known trainer. My work is fairly flexible making potty breaks easy, although I do work 40 hours a week. I am more than willing to stay over and care for your pets as it they were my own. I take pride in keeping your pets safe while they are in my care! Their safety and comfort is my #1 priority when petsitting. I pay close attention to body language and how your pets are communicating with me using their own signals to make them as comfortable as possible. I am happy to stay at your home to help facilitate this.

“Kristen did a great job taking care of our kitty, pond fish and plants, as well as keeping the local strays kitties fed per our instructions. We will certainly hire her again!”

“Dillon was great, and very responsive! I was nervous about using Rover for the first time but after this experience I feel comfortable knowing I have someone trustworthy to look after my cat :)”

“My cats loved Joannie! The two of them usually run and hide but they came out for her and played with her too. Joannie did a great job and cared for my cats as if they were hers. I already rebooked!”

About: I have had cats all my life, I enjoy them and all their quirks. Every cat has a different personality and I can flex to their needs. If you have a geriatric cat I also can give them their meds as I have experience with that as well.
“Madi is very friendly, personable and professional. Being new to the area and leaving our 2 anxious cats for the first time, Madi was patient to coax them out of hiding, feed and and care for them during her twice daily visits. She gave us detailed updates and pictures which helped ease our worries. We will definitely hire her again with confidence that our pets will be in her caring hands!”

“We are very happy that Cherie took care of our kitties while we were gone one a week’s vacation. When we arrived home they were happy and the house was in great shape. It was so nice just to get home and relax. Cherie kept us advised on how the kitties were doing throughout the week. It was such a good feeling knowing they were being taken care of with pampering.”

“Louis was very professional and incredibly easy to work with. Our cats and tortoise were well cared for. Louis communicated clearly with us while we were gone, and even caught an error I made in the booking times. He obviously has an eye for detail and cares about the pets he watches. Thank you, Louis! We will definitely reach out again to book in the future!”

About: I have had 8 cats over the past 3 years, old and young. My cats also have had 2 litters! My cats are all barn cats but I love bringing them inside to rest. I take care of friends/families cats as well, whether indoor or outdoor!
“Anna was a wonderful cat sitter for our cat, Yuki, while we were away for a week. We came home to a happy, relaxed cat who had clearly been well cared for and enjoyed Anna’s company—she cuddled with her, which is always good to see! Anna was attentive, responsible, and left our home in excellent condition. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and trustworthy sitter.”

About: Cats are my FAVORITE animal! (most recent cat in photo) I was allowed by my family to rescue and adopt a cat when I was 5. She was a longhaired cat. She was shy, nervous but so sweet and taught me how patience is important to get cats to trust. After that, I rescued another shorthair cat and was gifted a siamese cat for my recent birthday. These cats are my everything and I love and enjoy caring for all cats! I’ve pet sat for cats of all different ages and fur length, even hairless ones! I love learning about cats the more I get to meet new ones!
“What an AMAZING pet sitter. We had something come up and she was able to meet us and our cat right away! She took such good care of our fur baby while we were gone and she sent updates and pictures and asked questions. I would trust her in my house any time to watch my animals! Thank you again, Toshyauna! You’re a life saver!”

About: I helped to care for my sister's cat at the age of 15 due to her being unable to care for him herself for about 6 months. As a Caregiver for 6 1/2 years, I developed a passion for deep cleaning my clients' cats' litter boxes, feeding and watering them in addition to giving them attention in my free time. In that time, I had developed a knack for human medication assistance and even administered meds to my own 2 kittens, whom I raised by myself for 6 months. It was the highlight of each day to play with them, as well as bathe and brush them regularly. In my free time, I love to go visit C.A.T.S. here in Medford, OR and show the cats there love. I used to take my then 9 year old daughter to go there with me from time to time.
About: I’ve always had a love for animals and have had my fair share of dog sitting experience for friends, neighbors and in addition to babysitting (which is a challenge in itself). I’ve grown up around dogs and cats and would love to help in any way I can! I’m currently working a 48/96 schedule so I have consistent rotating days but am available most week days for extra help or on some weekends! I have an apartment within walking distance to parks and am on the first level so it is easily accessible for older pups. I don’t have a fenced yard.

“Danijela was great! We were visiting Medford and needed someone to look after our doodle when we went skiing. She was quick to respond to my questions and friendly. I’d be happy to use her again!”

About: I recently had two rescue heeler mixes. We competed in agility, and did herding, barn hunt, and parkour. I loved to hike, walk, run, and be active with my dogs. Now that they're gone, I have an open space in my heart for time with yours. I walk and run or hike several days out of the week. I'd love to bring your well-behaved dog along for their enjoyment and my company! Because I live up a steep gravel driveway, I prefer to meet in town or at your place to take your dog for a walk or run. But if they need to come to my place for sitting, I have a fenced yard with some agility equipment. I also have a dog door, to let them have free access to my .5 acre fenced yard. I do have a cat, so if your dog comes to my place, it will have to get along with her.
“Winnie was very excited to head back to Jeanne for another day of dog sitting. She’s a high energy pup and each time she has come back I can tell she’s had a great day of playing.”

“Kristina was so wonderful with Rosie! Rosie did not want to leave! She had lots of toys to play with & lots of love! Kristina sent funny pics and updates through Rosie’s stay and she responded quickly to my texts and questions. I will definitely reach out to Kristina again to care for Rosie & I highly recommend her & Winter to care for your dog!”
“Thanks for a great experience dog sitting my two girls. Another dog sitter had fallen through and I needed to find someone reliable and I found Sylvia and I’m very glad that I did. Thank you for watching them with such short notice and going above and beyond take care of them and give them exercise, as well as taking them to your art gallery event and just including them. I feel like I would highly recommend Sylvia and I hope that I can have you watch the dogs again if we come back to Ashland”
“It is such a huge relief to me to be able to drop off my dachshund Lucy and know 100% that she is in competent and caring hands with Linda. My dog recently came out of rescue, and Linda knows how to guide her into her best life ever.”

“First of all, our dog Cojo absolutely LOVES Anika! This was a huge relief to us since he is usually a little reserved around new people, being an Aussie. He's also pretty high-energy and barely 1-year old, so he's still learning. Luckily, Anika is a natural with dogs and you can tell she takes the time to get to know and care for each one. She has two adorable, friendly dogs of her own that play well with Cojo and the other sweet pups that come to visit. She is also an awesome communicator, responds very quickly, and is great about sending photo/video updates throughout the day. We never worry when he's with her, he's always super excited to visit and comes back exhausted and happy! We have nothing but good things to say about Anika. :)”

“April is wonderful! We set up a meet and greet before, I signed up my little girl up for daycare. We both wanted to make sure that it was a good fit for both of us. Everything went well meeting her and her sweet pups and introducing my almost one year old corgi, Lucy. Lucy had her first day ( 8 hrs) while, I was at work. I have to say it was the best decision choosing April! She sent photos and a video of Lucy playing and quite honestly, I haven’t seen my girl smile so big before! It was so soothing to see! Lucy had the best time! She came home tired from playing all day and slept like a champ! April was very attentive to Lucy’s needs and I will definitely rebook again. Thank you April for taking such good care of my little girl! 🩷 Jennifer”

“Jeremy was a great dog sitter! We got pics during the week and our super energetic puppy was actually tired from playing by the end of day. It was super good for him! Jeremy was responsive to our messages and we felt our dog got great personal attention. Thank you, Jeremy!”

About: Look, anyone can watch a pet. My thing? I actually listen. Seriously. My superpower is picking up on what animals are trying to tell me—be it a happy purr, a 'back off' bark, or a goat's casual bleat for attention. Being a digital nomad means my schedule is entirely my own, so I can truly be present and adapt to their needs, not some rigid clock. Playtime? Cuddles? Or just needing space? I read the room (or yard, or barn). I've got hands-on experience with everything from puppies to pigs, so your critters are always in genuinely attuned hands. This isn't just some gig; it's about making a real connection, deeply. As a digital nomad, my work goes where I go, and my schedule is completely my own. That means no rushing off to an office, no rigid 9-to-5, and definitely no 'squeezing in' pet time. I build my day around the animals I'm caring for. If a dog needs an extra walk, or a cat wants a sudden play session When I'm caring for your pets, my absolute focus is on maintaining their normal routine and comfort right there in their own space. I'm not just showing up to feed and split; I'm integrating into their lives. That means sticking to their feeding schedule, managing medications if needed, and keeping their environment exactly how you left it—clean, familiar, and totally stress-free. Here's the deal: as a digital nomad, my work goes where I go, and my schedule is completely my own. That translates directly into true presence for your pets. If I'm house sitting for you, your animals essentially become my co-workers. That means spontaneous play sessions, consistent outdoor time, and me being fully available. You'll get regular updates so you're never left wondering. Ultimately, it comes down to being attuned to their unique needs and ensuring they feel as comfortable, happy, and loved as they do with you, without ever having to leave their familiar surroundings.

I have reared and cared for fourteen puppies all at the same time! This includes special-needs puppies who required consistent attention and hand feeding. I have sat for all different sorts of breeds, sizes, and animals! Including small animals like rats, guinea pigs, and reptiles. I have a deep love and compassion for animals and also have a lot of experience in dog training, meaning I am more than happy to keep up with any regimen or structure your friend needs. I work from home as a writer so my schedule is completely open outside of the work I'll be doing here on Rover! In terms of my writing career, when and how I do it is completely flexible meaning I am happy to hear your pet's routine and mold my work around them. I will care for your pets with strict adherence to how you'd like me to care for them. In terms of my personal pet-parenting style, I am the sort who sees my animals as family and they're allowed to lie on the couches and beds. Your pets health and diet are very important to me, so I will always take as much info or instruction as you wish to give me. We have two dogs and a cat at home, all of which are friendly towards other animals, so I will ask that your pet plays nice, with them, as well! Animals who are tolerant/non-aggressive but need space are more than welcome to remain in a quiet room unbothered by our furry family members. We have a loft area where they can be completely separated if need be! They will, however, cross paths with the other dogs and cat when walked or let out in the fenced yard.

About: I’ve been caring for all kinds of animals for years—whether it’s my own cats, friends’ pets, or family’s furry, scaly, or feathery companions. I’ve got hands-on experience with everything from feeding and playtime to administering medication and making sure everyone gets the attention they need. I’m expanding my pet care experience because, let’s face it, I just can't get enough of animals and need more to care for. Whether your pet is a dog, cat, bunny, or even a reptile, I treat them like my own—safe, loved, and happy. As a teacher, my weekdays are pretty packed, but I’m available for pet care after 4 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends. I know how important your pets are, so I’m happy to fit visits, walks, or cuddles into my schedule whenever I can. Once summer rolls around, I’ll have a lot more flexibility and will be available most days, as I’ll be staying in the valley for the season. Your pets will get the love and attention they deserve, whether it’s a quick visit or a long weekend stay! I provide pet care in the comfort of your home, where your pets feel most secure and at ease. I’ll stick to your pet’s usual routine, from feeding and playtime to any special care needs like medication or extra cuddles. Since I have two cats at home, I’ll make sure to give your pets my full attention while I’m with them, and I don't bring my cats along—this is all about your fur babies. I treat your home like my own, making sure everything stays neat and your pets feel loved and safe in their own environment.
About: I've taken care of different animals my entire life. Grew up with them in our family home. Our family has a soft spot for rescues. The newest member of our family was a ferral kitten who needed bottle feeding, because his mommy died before he was even eating solids. We have always talked to our animals like they were people. Each animal has a personality, and it doesn't take long to get to know them. I currently work flexible hours as a door dash delivery person. I have great availability most weeks. So the likely-hood of being available is pretty good. I am very attentive to my pets, spend a lot of time with them, and make sure they feel loved. Also very attentive to changes in character and food needs. This is something I bring to any petsitting experience, because I care about every animal's wellbeing.
“Silver is a fantastic caring dependable dog walker. She has been on time, flexible, and personable. Ghost loves her, really enjoys his walks and time with her. Silver also is caring, knows how the dog is doing and what he needs today. Amazing. We will continue to have Ghost spend time with Silver.”

“Diana clearly took great care of Bella. We were away for 6 days and although Bella was excited we were back she came home the happiest she's ever been after any stay with a sitter. No moping or depressed behavior. Will definitely use Diana again!”

“Kristen and Estevan were so wonderful with our dog Webster. It was a longer stay (10 days) and he is a very active dog, but it was more like a doggy spring break than a simple boarding experience. Lot's of fetch, lots of cuddles, lots of pond swimming and enjoying their beautiful property. I got regular of photos of a very happy dog, 10/10 would use them again!”

“Elizabeth was really kind and understanding! Made sure my cats were comfortable, and was very patient and accommodating when I had to book extra days. Thank you so much to you and your family!”

“Alicia was lovely. She took great care of my pup and sent me photo updates. She was understanding when I had to pick him up late due to a personal emergency. Would definitely book again!”

“Linda was nothing but super friendly and very loving with Malu. I thank her for having taken so much care of her. I know I can count of her because she was really communicative and serious about her sitting. Many thanks again for everything!!”

“Avram took the best care of our dog. This is the first time we’ve left him with someone outside of his immediate “circle” and Avram was a calm, reliable source of care for both our dog and us. We received daily updates and pictures as well as prompt communication regarding drop off and pickup. We would definitely have Avram care for our dog again!”
