About: Our family has a dauschaund for 15 years that passed in August. She was provided so much love and care. I'm not afraid to help feel meds to your pup to keep them happy and healthy. We now have a new pup, a 10 lb pomeranian/ chihuahua mix who is about half way through his training to be a service dog and hopefully a therapy dog. He loves his training and putting that work vest on. Hopedully when he is finished he can help put smiles on many faces, just like he has done with my husband and I. Our family has also had cats off and on for over 20 years. While I know they are laid back and are happy with an empty litter box and a full food bowl, they like getting the extra love and attention to. So whether it's with a toy on a stick, balls on the ground, or even some gentle pets they need love while your away also. I currently work part-time from home. I would be available to help your four legged family member before 7am and after 12 noon. The only other thing that keeps me busy is the training with Rupert, but it's flexible. I am asking to care for smaller dogs only because of some medical restrictions. With a small dog I will have no problem walking them, cleaning up after them, and crating if needed. But most of all I will be able to play with them to help burn off energy.

About: Hi! My husband and I are both hybrid workers, so we’re home often and have flexible schedules that allow us to spend quality time with the dogs we watch. We live in a two-story home with no kids or pets of our own, which means your dog will have a calm, quiet environment with plenty of space to play and relax. Since there aren’t other animals or distractions, we’re able to give your dog our full attention, lots of love, and care tailored just to them. My experience with dogs goes back to when I was 3 years old, and had my first family dog that I grew up with like a sibling! From that moment, I always treated dogs as part of the family. I rescued my second dog while I was in college from a shelter, and I also spent many years pet sitting for my neighbors, which was truly a dream job because I got to spend all day long playing with dogs. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the extra patience, gentleness, and routine they often need—whether it's administering medications, helping them up stairs, or just giving them a peaceful spot to nap. We work full-time, but have hybrid schedules where we work from home most of the week. We make sure to rotate our in office days so one of us is always home. We are able to provide potty breaks every hour! For exercise, our neighborhood is suitable for long walks. We also have a yard where we can play with your dog, as well as several nearby trails.

About: I’ve taken care of family pets, pets of friends, and pets of people I don’t know. In the future I would like to work with law enforcement animals, so your business will (hopefully) help me in the future! I work part time coaching soccer at schools/parks in the Gaston County area. I normally work mornings, but starting in the fall will work the occasional weekday afternoon. Despite working in the mornings, I can still attend to your dogs in the morning Normally I will talk to the owner and spend time with the animal before I decide how I’m going to handle it. All animals are different, some need more outside time while some may just want to lay around all day

About: Dogs are like family, and I’ll treat your pup like they’re a part of my own. I’ve taken care of dogs of every shape and size for decades. Walking (fast or slow) or pet sitting, I’m here for you! Someone is usually always at home, and when they aren’t, we make sure to do frequent check-ins. Weekends give me the most flexibility to take care of your pup. I’m available to board, check-in, or walk your fur friend. While I don’t have a fenced in yard, I have a spacious home that will allow your pet to stretch their legs. I also go on frequent walks, and will take your fur friend to parks nearby to enjoy some sun and play time.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was a child. I currently own a 2 year old miniature dachshund and have taken in my family’s senior dog that we’ve have for 12 years now. I love teaching my dachshund new tricks and taking both sweet pups for long walks around our neighborhood! I am a teacher during the school year but have open availability all summer long to love on and take care of your sweet fur babies! I have a fenced in backyard and two dogs to keep your fur baby company! I also have a dedicated area to section off if your pet needs more alone time.

About: I have always had dogs growing up and during high school and college I would pet sit for neighbors and friends for tuition and other funds. I have always loved the animals I take care of as my own and send regular photos to the parents of our activities. All of my sitting and walking engagements were done on a regular basis over multiple years. I have boarded dogs at my own place for long engagements previously but currently am not able to do that service. I am able to administer medications orally or topically and am familiar with the needs of puppies all the way to senior dogs. I am disabled from an injury to my back that prevents me from running so I prefer to have clients with less boisterous and aggressive animals. Since I sustained a back injury at a former job I like to stay as active as I physically can and have a fairly open schedule to fit the needs of many clients. I can adapt to most schedules and easy to get in touch with. I will stay for 30 minutes minimum for each visit (most of the time longer) depending on the needs of the client. I prefer to play or exercise while I am visiting to keep the puppers engaged and not bored as well as expend any pent up energy. Walking is a great way to keep the animals from separation anxiety and to keep up stimulation and exercise. I take pictures of the pets to send to the parents via text or email so that you may be at ease as well as having more pictures of your babies (because who doesn't need that?).

About: I’ve taken care of my own dog and others for the past 6 years. I treat all pets as if they were my pup koda! I’m a full time firefighter so I work 24 hours and am off 48 so I will be available part time on my off days. I am timely and give your pets lots of attention. I live a very active lifestyle so I can give your dog the exercise it really needs. I also a friendly dog for your loved pet to play with if you want.

About: I have cared for dogs for as long as I remember, since elementary school! I have a rescue mutt of my own, Winston, who is the light of my life. I have cared for him since he was an abandoned puppy. I have experience raising puppies to adulthood and some experience with training dogs (2 family dogs and 1 of my own). I have experience watching dogs of all sizes, from young to senior. I entrust a Rover with the care for my dog when I am away, and I know how hard it can be to leave our fur babies. I aim to give the most comforting care to your animals while you are away. I am lucky enough to be able to work from home currently, so I have time for pet sitting. I have 1 dog of my own, Winston, a spaniel mix, who adores other dogs and loves to play. He is also smart about recognizing when it is time to relax. I currently have plentiful weekday and weekend availability. My dog is my whole entire world, so I completely understand when people are nervous to leave their pets. I trust Winston in the hands of a Rover sitter, and I am confident that I can bring that trust to others! I ask that you disclose any special quirks your dog might have (jumping, leash reactivity, etc.)
