About: Have had dogs all my life, small/large and medically complex needing meds, love to train, have done cat sitting for medical cats and normal ones I am currently a student in college but only have 2 classes a per week, also am active and am willing to change schedules around :) I am currently not taking pets for boarding as I have my own dog now, but would love to take care of your pets at your home and provide them with enrichment whenever you need/want.

About: I've always been surrounded by animals, and have been taking care of a variety of pets my entire life! About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience and genuine passion for animals of all sizes and personalities. I have cared for many dogs of various breeds & sizes throughout my life and currently have three dogs and two cats at home. About: I have previously worked with Flying Fur, a doggy daycare and boarding service located in Newport, VA. Here, I gained experience working with various breeds and temperaments, and I would be happy to help you with your animal while you are away. In high school, I took small animal care as well as vet science, and have interacted with several of the therapy dogs on Radford University Campus. I am currently a college student working part-time, and I’d love to help care for your pet on my free time!! I am free weekly in the mornings and evenings! Can’t wait to meet your pets! During the walks, I allow the dogs to go at their own pace to get a sense of security with me and I love to reward them if they are doing good!

About: Hey there! I absolutely adore all animals and have a fur baby of my own - a 7 year old Havanese dog named Teddy who’s my best friend and adventure buddy! He also happens to be a very anxious dog with separation anxiety, so I understand just how important it can be to have someone that is able to check in on your pets while you’re away. I have a car and a very flexible schedule, so I am able to check in your pets throughout the day and provide food, walks, or exercise/play breaks whenever needed! I also have experience administering medication and caring for older cats through my time fostering for local animal shelters. I look forward to hanging out with your pets while you’re away :) I’m currently a college student home for the summer working a part time job, so I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets and check in on them throughout the day as needed! About: I have cared for several work friend's pets, including someone who had 7 medium-large dogs with a laundry list of special accommodations and medications needed I am an Army Veteran going to college, this leaves my afternoons and weekends completely free. I can alter the rest of my schedule to accommodate your pet I have a dog and cat of my own, so I have experience with the difference in the needs and behaviors of the two most common household pets. I care for their physical as well as their mental health to the best of my ability. I strive to care for all animals the same way.

About: Hi! My name is Laura and I am a senior at Virginia Tech. I have had a life-long passion for taking care of animals and hope to care for yours. Throughout my life I have cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, small mammals, horses, cows, pigs, chickens, and much more! I love all animals, big and small, and am able to watch over your household pets and/or any farm pets. I have had dogs my entire life, currently a proud pup owner of my hyper, loving golden retriever, and I know all the ins and outs of canine care. I provide play-time, grooming, walks/dog park visits, food/water cleaning and replenishment, medical aid, and so much more for your pup(s). I have training experience with puppies, and can handle all temperaments. Elderly dogs hold a special place in my heart so I will ensure their safety and comfortability. No matter the age or size, I would love to care for your four-legged family member! My availability is open starting August 10th. I provide house visits and walks any day of the week. I have my own vehicle so reliable transportation is not an issue. I will keep your pet(s) safe at your home and/or outside by keeping them on a leash, crating if necessary or requested, keeping your doors locked at all times, and taking precautions to make sure your pet doesn’t get into anything they are not allowed to have.

About: I have taken care of dogs within my household for 15 years now, with the additional walking & house sitting for neighbors! I recently started pet walking & sitting in Blacksburg this year and have had such a blast! As an incoming vet student this fall, I will bring an expertise and view that will be beneficial for the pet in their environment and for the owners. I am so motivated to support owners with their schedules by sitting or walking! I’m currently working part-time throughout the summer, and have time within the day to complete walks for your pets! I am also available to pet sit in-home for you if needed; preferably not Monday-Wednesday, but I am flexible! I always start off my sessions with building a connection with the pet prior. If possible, I like to meet prior to needing my services to socialize myself with the pet, so that trust can be gained. Once this is done, I love to play with the pets and cuddle them so that they feel secure! I love taking photos of the pets during walks to send to the owners, as this reassures them!

About: I have taken care of animals most of my life, and have had anything from dogs and cats, to chickens and ducks, snakes, goats, llamas, etc. I have successfully trained dogs in basic behavioral skills and administered medication of various forms to all my animals. I also have confidence with even the largest of breeds, having owned a cane corso, among others. I have experience leash training as well as acclimating dogs with new animals and curbing unwanted behavior. I work full- time, but can work with you, especially if I can plan ahead by a week or more. I do occasionally leave town, but again, can generally adjust my schedule accordingly. I prefer to allow animals freedom to roam around if possible, but understand animals have different needs. All walks are leashed, no exceptions unless you have a fully fenced and secure yard you prefer your pet to run around.
